Fantastic food , it's fresh, it's made on the spot . The owners were serving today and were extremely warm and welcoming. This place has vegan options on the menu. Today we had gol gappa and bread pakora with potato filling. Our wonderful chef was busy cooking too. This place is worth checking out and the saag with makki roti was nice. Edit - a few visits later it seems they've made some renovations to the interiors, looks beautiful and food is wonderful as always.

A great find and addition to the area! Eat all you can for $13 including a drink. The food tasted fresh and light and was very homey. If you want to try additional treats outside the buffet offer, the restaurant also offers homemade pastries which were also delicious! Desserts were also available. Will definitely come back here again.

extremely friendly and helpful service- particularly from the elderly gentleman with the turban and the young female waitstaff. the atmosphere was humble with bain marie stand and some groceries for sale? it a not competing or trying to be luxurious or upmarket. the food was fantastic!! they really customised the spice level to our needs. the food was fresh! not greasy and the pakoras were very light. i’ll be back!

I’ve tried almost every Indian restaurant in Melbourne and this has been my best experience so far. Super friendly staff, prompt service and a cozy ambiance. Delicious and authentic home-cooked style veg Punjabi food served by very warm people. Nearly everything on the menu is prepared to order using high quality ingredients and so the food carries with it a freshness, cleanliness and spiciness that very few other restaurants in Melbourne can manage. Worth the trip, no matter what side of the city you're on. I can also recommend pretty much everything on the menu.

Amazing discovery for veg/vegans who like Indian food. They even have a Jain menu for those that don't have garlic/onion. A must to visit. Food is delicious and the host makes you feel at home.

The ambiance is designed to give reasonably good comfort feels homely. The quality of the food served is good and the taste will appeal to most of its guests. Got used to the food feels like mother made home food, Simple and delicious. The menu includes Only Veg dishes but still has good variety right from starters to main course. One doesn't have to wait for too long as the serving time is quick. Overall it was good experience and great staff
