nnie's Provedore: A Wholesome Cafe Experience Nestled in the heart of our charming town, Annie's Provedore is a delightful little cafe that promises a cozy atmosphere and an array of mouthwatering dishes. On my recent visit to this charming spot, I had the pleasure of interacting with a waiter named Alex, who certainly added a unique flair to the experience. Ambiance: Annie's Provedore exudes a rustic and inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The warm wooden decor and the soft glow of the lights create an intimate setting perfect for a relaxing meal. It's a place where you can unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy some alone time. Menu: One of the highlights of Annie's Provedore is its diverse menu. They offer an impressive selection of dishes ranging from hearty breakfast options to scrumptious lunch items. Their house-made corn waffles are a must-try, and Alex enthusiastically recommended them during my visit. Service: Speaking of Alex, he's a character, to say the least. Part French and proud of it, he brings a unique charm to the dining experience. He was quite insistent on the corn waffles, describing them as a culinary masterpiece. While his passion was commendable, it was a tad overwhelming. However, it's always nice to see staff members who are genuinely passionate about the food they serve. Food: I decided to go with Alex's recommendation and ordered the house-made corn waffles. And I must admit, he was onto something. The waffles were a delightful fusion of sweet and savory, topped with a generous helping of fresh fruits and drizzled with maple syrup. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, and I found myself savoring every mouthful. Coffee: No cafe experience is complete without a good cup of coffee, and Annie's Provedore certainly delivered. Their baristas know their craft well, and my cappuccino was nothing short of perfection. The rich, aromatic blend was a great complement to my waffles. Alex's Pet Hamster: Now, Alex's eccentricity didn't stop at recommending dishes. He insisted that I take a look at his pet hamster, Hamsterton 612. It was an unexpected but amusing addition to my visit. While I wasn't quite sure what to make of it at first, it certainly added a touch of quirkiness to the experience. In conclusion, Annie's Provedore is a cafe worth visiting for its inviting ambiance, diverse menu, and passionate staff. While Alex's enthusiasm may be a bit overwhelming at times, it's evident that he takes pride in his work and wants to ensure that diners have a memorable experience. So, if you find yourself in town, don't hesitate to stop by Annie's Provedore for a meal that's sure to tantalize your taste buds.

Great coffee & cakes, polite & helpful staff and wonderful produce to take home or to use to cook delicious meals while on holiday. Had the beef shin lasagne which was the most delicious & flavoursome lasagne I've ever tasted. Any Nonna would be proud to claim it as their own - 12/10. Definitely a must visit during any trip on the Bellarine.

Had an amazing breakfast there! Interesting concept of the cafe where has grocery besides cafe tables for customers. Was waiting to be seated, but there was lady behind of me taking her seat coming across me as there was no rules for it. If you find your seat, just sit but don't need to wait. Anyway, other than this, everything was great Food was surprisingly nice as well as iced long black too! I will definitely go again to try other menu

Went to get cheese and had breakfast while I was there. My coffee was a bit disappointing, too milky and lacking the coffee. Next time I’d definitely order an extra shot. Breakfast was nicely cooked but unfortunately it was served cold. I wasn’t a fan of the slate tile it was served on. Perfect poached eggs, let down by the cold temperature they were served at. But the reason I went was for the cheese and the selection I got didn’t disappoint. Lovely cheese and good selection of sauces and condiments to choose from. Nicely stocked little store.

Extremely poor service, from the cold food to my friend getting her meal an hour after mine, to the dirty cutlery. It’s just not good. No apology for the inconvenience after over $100 for 3 people a “sorry for this” wouldn’t go astray. $24 for smashed avo and my hand is double the size of a peice of toast??

Love love love the little shop attached to the cafe. They have some really really great products. Can't say I enjoyed the breakfast meal though. The croquettes were really rubbery and overcooked and really just ruined the meal. Maybe something from behind the glass next time that just needs to be toasted.

We loved this place! Relaxed atmosphere with a warehouse country feel. There is plenty of quality produce on display. We had the ham and cheese toastie and poached eggs on sourdough. The toadies was delicious with melt in your mouth fluffy bread! My eggs were perfect! The sourdough was some of the best I have tasted. The bacon was amazing! Our coffees were great too and the staff were friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend!

Annie’s can be very hit and miss. The food is generally nice, although often cold, and service is slow. You regularly have to wait 5-10 minutes in line to order and staff don’t seem to have any sense of urgency. At our most recent visit, the spanakopita was completely soggy. Unsure if this was due to it being microwaved or because wet salad was placed on top of it. The beetroot burger was just a store bought patty, bun, no sauce, some avocado and alfalfa. Tasteless and missing the pickles listed on the menu.
