could,
RENTERS
AND
LANLORDS
BEWARE.
We
are
previous
renters
with
Casey
Central
Real
Estate.
They
took
us
to
VCAT,
wanting
all
of
our
bond
of
$1758,
plus
more
unspecified
compensation.
Their
supposed
property
manager
Jessica
Eliott,
who
bombarded
us
with
an
exit
condition
report,
with
photos
taken
at
obscure
angles,
taken
from
afar
and
mostly
all
after
photos,
with
no
before
photos
for
comparison.
First
time
round
at
VCAT,
Jessica
Elliot
didnt
send
through
original
entry
report.
And
when
questioned
about
the
unspecified
compensation
by
the
VCAT
member,
had
no
answer
or
response
The
VCAT
member
told,
Jessica
Elliot
she
was
quote
"Unprofessional,
unprepared
and
should
have
known
these
things,
as
a
property
manager".
And
that
her
photo
evidence
was
inadequate.
We
agree
we
should
have
gone
back
to
the
property
to
do
some
more
cleaning.
We
tried
ro
mediate
with
Casey
Central
Real
Estate,
with
an
offer
of
$200
for
extra
cleaning
costs.
They
didnt
even
have
the
decency
to
reply
to
us.
We
went
back
to
VCAT
again
yesterday,
VCAT
awarded
Casey
Central
Real
Estate,
$320,
for
cleaning
and
a
chain
off
a
blind.
The
rest
of
their
claim
was
dismissed
for
the
supposed
damage
we
did.
Any
renters
with
these
people,
please
take
pictures/video
of
every
little
mark,
spot
no
matter
how
small.
These
people
are
just
money
grabbers,
for
a
supposed
family
business,
they
have
no
qualms
about
trying
to
squeeze
money
out
of
families
with
bogus
VCAT
claims.
Also
we
paid
our
bond
the
day
we
moved
in.
In
accordance
with
RTBA
regulations,
they
have
10
working
days
to
lodge
that
money
with
the
RTBA.
They
lodged
our
bond
almost
2
months
later.
They
dont
even
respect
the
rules/regulations
of
their
own
profession.
Any
landlords
out
there,
professional
property
manager
Jessica
Elliot.
Forgot
to
put
the
water
bill
in
our
name
for
the
whole
12
months
we
rented.
Thought
this
sort
of
stuff
would
be
Real
Estate
101,
maybe
a
Dummies
Guide
to
Real
Estate
may
be
helpful,
just
a
suggestion.
As
Alex
says,
"Success
Breeds
Success"
well
maybe
not
in
there
case.
8
houses
sold
in
12
months.
They
owe
us
$58
in
overpaid
rent.
Think
we
can
get
it
back,
have
requested
it.
But
once
again
no
reply.
They
tied
our
bond
up
for
almost
5
months
with
there
frivolous
claims.
Casey
Central
Real
Estate
cant
refute
any
of
this.
As
l
can
produce
the
paperwork
to
confirm
all
this
is
true.
And
VCAT
hearings
are
a
matter
of
public
record.
To
the
Bartolos,
the
last
9
months
have
been
hard
on
everyone.
But
on
top
of
everything
we
had
to
deal
with
you
with
trying
to
get
money
out
of
us
you
should
be
ashamed
of
yourselves.

name,
same
parasites,
these
2
have
had
more
differently
named
real
estate
agencies,
then
there
are
seasons
in
a
year.
Still
cant
get
back
the
$58
they
owe
for
overpaid
rent.Requested
it
enough
times,
anyway
moral
of
this
is,
if
they
cant
be
trusted
to
return
$58.
Can
they
be
trusted
with
someones
house?
Like
whats
there
commission
now,
still
1%.
These
clowns
know
nothing
about
real
estate.
That's
why
there
commission
rate
is
so
low,
cause
there
desperate.
Between
them
these
bozos
have
sold
9
houses
in
12
months.
People
just
beware,
these
2
and
people
like
them
should
be
ran
out
of
the
real
estate
altogether.
