The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best Afghan Kebab we’ve had in Melbourne! Good food,big portions & reasonable price! Highly recommend!

My partner and I shared the dumplings and mixed kebab. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The meat was fresh and tender. Rice was cooked to perfection but the dumplings were to die for. Best dumplings I have ever had. I can’t wait to go back to have more dumplings. Could not recommend this place more. For everyone who lives in the area, you must try this Afghan restaurant. Probably the best Afghan I have had.

I'm not very familiar with Afghan flavours but went in for lunch and tried the chicken with bread and the lamb mince and chicken skewers. The chicken maryland was deliciously marinated, juicy and tender with tasty spices, and the lamb mince and chicken skewers were really good too. Rice was flavoured and very generous portions...shared between 2 and had enough for another meal. Lovely owner too! Great to see new flavours on Main St.

Just found my new favourite local eating place. The lamb tikka was high quality meat, marinated and spiced well and perfectly cooked. Yummy.

Super fresh and delicious food. Mix kebab for $21 is acc very decently priced as you get a huge amount of chicken and lamb kebab and rice… enough for two dinners! Really love this place!

Ordered the eggplant with rice and the Afghan curry dumplings. Some of the best dumplings I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of dumplings! The owner is such a lovely man too. If you've got a dumpling craving, do yourself a favour and try Afghan Tasty Kebab instead of the other local options!
