Why 5 star ? I drive 40mins for lunch here ! I've been coming here for years now. A huge, delicious Masala Dosai $11✨️🥇😋 A huge Cheese Masala Dosai = $13 ! ✨️🥇😋 All cooked fresh with love by Kanchana. Very tasty food, low low prices, healthy ingredients, lovely staff & service is tops, Amutha is just the best 👌 👍🏆🥇✨️✨️ Be healthy, eat here. Remember vegetables? This place makes eating vegetarian food a true delight. Not Indian? Don't know the menu items ? This place has it covered with staff who can explain it all ! Summary - I come here for the tasty vegetarian food & low prices, not the decor or restaurant style table service . It's healthy, yummy & filling 💯% 🥇🙂👍 Last tip - Ask for extra green chutney, with your Dosai, its a perfect match, trust me. 👌 I thank you again Kanchana & Amutha, for the many silent & happy customers who do not leave reviews. 🙏 Your delicious food & friendly service has bought me much happiness over many years. Be blessed. Be well. Live long.😋🥇🙏👌✨️😊

Had the thali here. Impressive quality of all the curries . Flavours were distinct and it didn't taste like a mush. Chana sundal was delicious, fresh crispy puris and the pakora was also freshly made and well hydrated. Wonderful experience for food. The thali is very worth it. Give this place a try. Affordable and high quality. Clean kitchen too by the looks of it.

Best restaurant for authentic and affordable South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Being a Mumbaikar I was keen to find a restaurant which serves Mumbai's authentic vada pav and bhaji pav, so far the potato bhaji served at this restaurant has been close enough in terms of taste. Plain dosa was bigger in size and came with a good amount of my favourite coconut chutney.

Amazing food, worth giving a shot !!! I was in the area and googled for South indian restaurants nearby. Found this, and I am glad I found it. Go here for the authentic South indian food, with no dramas. The ambiance is modest, but then the food is heavenly tasty. Plus it's very very economical for the food quality and taste. Will definitely be coming back here....

Best South Indian taste in Melbourne, I am expecting more quick eatery stalls like this in Melbourne. Hope the owners can open several branches in future. Perfect menu with all varieties, food is well taken care and maintained, always served hot. Reasonable price. Good ambience. Place is neat. It scores in all areas. Kudos to the passion of the madam who is single handedly running the show in kitchen.

I don't know how people gave 5 stars rating to this food either they don't know real south Indian food or they use to eat rubbish food. I ordered two masala dosa and two plain dosa for the first time and my experience was very bad. Samber is totally watery no taste just only carrots in the samber nothing else. Dosa is also too thick and not crisped properly. Not worthy to spend money for this food. Not a authentic south Indian food.

The shop needs improvements in quality and taste. Vada tasted okay but it was very old and wasn’t crispy. Ghee in ghee dosa was bad. Gobi 65 was just bland and had no taste.

Clean, healthy and home style south indian food... the place is run by a husband n wife team who are friendly, couteous and responsive. Everything is freshly made and it reflects on the taste and quality of the dish served. To all you hotheads complaining about waiting times... go to a drive through or find places where a machine makes a dosa for you🙂

Worst South Indian thali I have ever had. Cold food served on a paper plate with no flavour or spices.

Had been to this place as A2B was having a waitlist of around 1 hour. Happy I chose this place, cost, quality, and hospitality were all good. And more importantly, the limited meals is the best I can get, also the other stuffs were absolutely wonderful. All these for may be a 60% cost of A2B or HSB

I frequently order the South indian meals, pongal and Rice and sambar. It's delicious and a very homemade taste. You guys are my go-to restaurant when I am missing South Indian food and too lazy or tired to cook anything myself. I will always be grateful as we order your South Indian meals for our housewarming at the last minute and friends who attended liked the food. Thank you!

Had a bad experience recently. Ordered masala dosa, they served dosa with a carrot sambar (sambar that is served with thali). Dosas are usually served with tiffin sambar in restaurants and they taste well with dosa. For the amount they charge and that too from a south Indian restaurant, this was quite disappointing. Idly was very hard and was a waste of money as well. Don't compromise on quality on your speciality items. Looks like your quality has gone low in recent times.

Recently visited this place, Good place for south Indian vegetarian breakfast. value for money. Poori Masala, and Masala dosa was great. Took take away for Vegetarian biryani and it was not good as rice was bit sticky and had soggy smell. Overall good place for freshly served breakfast for a reasonable price.

If you are planning to visit this place, have a decent meal beforehand because the portion size of all dishes are in tiny cups Two teaspoons each. Hardly enough to feed a toddler. Taste is below average. Total waste of hard earned$$$$. Please Avoid
