Great little hotel, easy to stop, easy to find, plenty parking, friendly staff

Very clean room and really lovely staff. Booked a room here for mum and we both were really impressed. Can't go wrong here especially considering the reasonable price. A must stay if you're visting this area.

Was a quiet and pleasurable experience but the one problem they do need to fix is the heating in rooms. As one air conditioning system does not heat up The whole room. Cold draughts coming in from every gap possible

Absolutely excellent. Left my phone and wallet in the room and the lovely lady was very nice about letting me back in the room. Truly she is one of the nicest ladies I've ever met. Check in was a breeze and she was very kindhearted. Truly a pleasure to stay there. Rooms were big and excellently clean and warm up quick with the aircon. Plenty of spare blankets too.

What a terrific stay. We needed accommodation as we had a function yesterday in Box Hill and lunch in Balwyn today so booked here. Carol is the best motel manager ever, the motel inside and out absolutely immaculate cleanest accomodation we have ever stayed in all over the world. Rooms updated great heater super comfortable beds, microwave, toaster kettle and tea and coffee supplies, I would stay here again and wish we could have stayed longer. Can’t wait to book it again before long. Thanks Carol and staff you are the best!!

Very quiet and peaceful place, not too hard to get public transportation to the city. The room was clean and cosy, had all the amenities needed.

Great motel. Cleanest ever been in . Staff fantastic. Love the shower with neon lights changes when turning tap. Highly recommended. Will be staying again. Toaster and microwave. Most comfiest pillows ever. Give this place a go.

I stayed here recently with my family, in readiness of relocating them to another State. This was the perfect spot for us (around the corner for the unit we were moving out of) and although the Motel itself is a little dated we weren't there for the decor. The bedding was comfortable and it is the first Motel I have ever stayed in where they provided more than enough towels, blankets and extra pillows if needed. It is a peaceful location off the street and bordering parks/reserve so the sounds of nature and the quiet we found relaxing to come back to after being busy packing and cleaning our home for its settlement. The Manager was beyond helpful, was kind and friendly, and nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble - they were just so accommodating. We had a family unit which provided us with a kitchenette to be able to prepare meals etc and came with 2 small fridges (a bonus) too. There is also a laundry on site, and a clothesline (complimentary) to be able to get your washing done. We all commented on ease of ground level access to the Motel unit, without having to navigate steps (which is helpful if you have older people with you) and that we would all come and stay again at the drop of a hat. Thank you Box Hill Motel you made our last few days in Melbourne enjoyable and easy and we have no hesitation in highly recommending you.

We stayed for a night last week. It was quiet, comfortable and clean and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Best kept secret at Box Hill, spacious rooms, clean and comfortable bedding, separate sink/ surface for food preparation, fridge and microwave. Adjacent to bus stop with direct connection to Box Hill train station. Also right next to Gardiner Creek reserve with lovely 1 km walk to Deakin University Burwood. Exceptional hospitality.

Stayed here for a week The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Very simple yet having a small kitchenette meant we could save time and money. The pool was great on a few hot days and the reserve was close by to take a walk in nature.

Our second visit. This time a four day stay for a funeral. Carol and staff outstanding at this sad time. Room spotless. Location quiet. Fantastic Italian restaurant just up the road

Clean..quiet.. excellent staff. Carol was such a great help to me on my short stay..i really think she deserves the highest motel award you can get for the care towards her guests..

We were booked into a different hotel which was not somewhere I would let myself, mum and daughter sleep. We rang around and when I got the lovely Jeanie on the end of the phone I knew we had found ‘our’ place! She was delightful, compassionate and caring. While on the 5 minute drive she had gone into the room, turned on the heater so we were comfortable. The room was perfect, very clean, beds very comfortable, pillows gorgeous on the head. Table, chairs and a 2 seater couch. She treated us like family. Every Melbourne stay will be here xx

The room was basic but clean & comfortable. Off street parking was a bonus. Quiet, nice surroundings, plenty of bird life. The pool was clean. Staff were friendly.

Why would you use a booking agency when with a simple Google Search, you can ring the motel and speak to Carol who took my booking and booked?

Lovely clean hotel, with all the amenities you need. Friendly service and right next to a beautiful nature walk. Excellent value, highly recommend.

Quiet motel at reasonable rates. Don,t book though Trivago as the commission goes to America. Support the owners and book direct.

Very pleasant owners,the stay was very comfortable. Room spotless, comfortable bed. Close to hospital ,stayed 9 nights. Would highly recommend.

For price and location it was fine for the overnight stay. Yes basic but spotless, well done to the employed cleaning staff, quiet ... It was a Monday night but as I live outside the city tend to be 'city noise' sensitive. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. Booked by work and met my needs. Skipped the breakfast as lots better options basically anywhere in the vicinity though no doubt my elderly Mum would have appreciated the baked beans and eggs.

Needed a place to stay after being on a stunt set for a movie and this place was wonderful! It's a shame there was no Earl Grey tea or non-dairy milk option but otherwise a nice, quiet and comfortable place. Clean too! And love the light up showerhead 😁
