Appalling virtue signalling from a Private business and lack of understanding of current scientific research showing masks have no effect on virus transmission.

I had a steroid injection today with Miranda and Dr Sim Singh looking after me in the radiology department. It was my first one and they were brilliant at explaining everything & going through post-op instructions. They were on time, extremely professional and friendly. No idea what the long-term effects of the actual procedure will be but the staff did everything perfectly & I appreciate their work so much. Thanks guys - I was trying not to cry on the way out it just feels amazing to walk without pain again

Really odd billing experience.... Started getting weird texts saying that I owe Cabrini $12.00 with no invoice or explanation. I hadn't been to Cabrini in over a year and I thought it was a scam. After a few more texts i call them and they say they did an internal audit from my procedure from the year before and that they under quoted me and under billed me then and expected me to pay now. I know it is only $12. But I found this really odd... isn't it their responsibility to make sure they are quoting the right price before the procedure and when payment is made? Anyway... just be careful because who knows who else this has happened too and for how much!? Just felt very unprofessional to chase up $12.00 without explaining a year later!

I very recently had a family member in palliative care at brighton cabrini. it was a nightmare. almost no communication - we were left in the dark about what they were doing to him. when we asked for a blanket and asked that the patient's personal hygiene be attended to, and that he be fed and be given fluids we were accused of 'upsetting my staff' by the co-ordinator. we were, from that point on, ignored totally by most of the nurses. only a couple of them were kind and helpful. while in their care my terminally ill relative was accidentally burnt and fell, most probably due to a high fever being left untreated. it was horrific! all up, my advice would be DONT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS HOSPITAL!

Spent overnight at Cabrini Brighton after having my gall bladder removed. All the staff including admissions, admin, nurses etc were fantastic. Very efficient, friendly and caring team. Cabrini executive should be very proud of all their employees, especially as they have to undertake their tasks under trying Covid protocols. Thankyou to all of you!

Husband needed to go here for appointment and when rang at 3.15 to schedule they had just had a cancellation and had an availability at 4.15. So how good was that! Thanks Cabrini. Staff friendly and efficient.

Cabrini Brighton's exemplary care extended beyond the basic comforts, as they recently facilitated a medical procedure for my friend. Throughout the entire process, their attentive staff prioritized their well-being, ensuring their comfort and providing clear and thorough information every step of the way. The combination of their dedicated medical expertise, compassionate approach, and immaculate facility truly sets Cabrini Brighton apart as a top-tier healthcare provider.

My wife Michele had a lengthy operation in early July 2020, undertaken by the highly respected surgeon, Dr Tim Sturrock and the after care carried out by the nurses was first rate, together with the efficient friendliness of the other staff members. The reason why Michele reduced the Stars to three was purely and simply because of the extremely poor standard of the catering. Michele reasoned that most patients, after experiencing two or more days of below standard food, would be desperate to get home!

I had been anticipating my long-awaited complete knee replacement which had been further delayed by the ridiculous 'Code Brown' delay, and when I finally got in for the surgery there was of course the dread of the 'unknown' of a major surgery. I cannot stress how each and every member of the Cabrini Brighton team made me feel at home, safe, in excellent hands, and like a special boutique client rather than 'big soulless hospital'. From the amazing receptionist (who put me at ease as she had had the same surgery from my surgeon , Adrian Trivett, 2 years earlier and was fully recovered, to the amazing people that include (here we got: Jarred and Fiona my anesthetist and her assistant, Nurses Brianna, Bianca, Hanna, Clare, Sue, and Ina followed by Tracey and Jenny. Stephen and Pam in radiology, Mary the epic head nurse who was so astonishing and smart and caring and thorough (as was everyone!) to Hiro and Carolyn in the evenings. The young men who delivered the excellent food and coffee along with Peter and Galena from the restaurant, and Sally, Ting Ting and Deb on the final day. There may have been others, and if I forgot you let's blame the Endone... but whether recent uni grad or absolute veteran, the professionalism was astonishing and there was nothing left to guesswork. It was major, it was and is painful and there's rehab and recovery ahead, but the major part is over and I can't imagine every going to any other hospital, ever. And being part of the Brighton community near where I lived was also epic. So many T

The stars are for the nursing staff, who are stars. But the booking clerk in Oncology who was so unkind earned a demerit. As did the person of great authority who told me I had no right being in the hospital despite the fact I explained my partner was recovering from a stroke and had difficulty in expressing himself, particularly under stress. However I checked the website and I read the following. Exceptions to our no visitor policy include: When a patient requires assistance with communication, wayfinding, mobility, personal care or behaviour management. Perhaps the only staff aware of this exception are the nurses. Three cheers for the nurses .

I went to medi imaging to get an MRI on my back and this is the cheapest place I found, given that Medicare doesn't pay for them. Friendly staff. There is 1hr on street parking as well. Will be quick if you go early in the morning (around 7,)

I've had surgical procedures done in two other private hospitals and I would rate the service I recieved at Cabrini Brighton the best I've experienced to date. Not only do staff take the time to explain the what and how of the procedure they also explain the why. For me that's important. Keep up the good work Cabrini Brighton and thank-you for your excellent service.

Went for a gastroscope and most of the nurses were amazing, doctors were too! Went there in the morning and unfortunately my partner couldn’t pick me up before 3.30 pm. One of the nurses (don’t remember her name) a bit older, was absolutely rude to me and over the phone with my partner and to me again when I told her that I was happy to wait in the waiting room in front of the desk after the procedure, and let someone else come in. She was very pushy in a bad way and need me gone before 3pm. Also, when I got notified for the procedure, few weeks prior the procedure, I completely forgot to reply back to a very stressful weeks of work and family situation.. got a phone call from the same rude lady and she pretended to know “why I didn’t reply to the message” .. Not sure why she had to act like that.. but I’m sure wasn’t the first time.

For the past 12 years I’ve suffered from chronic nerve ending pain, resulting from a truck accident which has given me a severe neck injury. This Injury causes extensive nerve pain and at my worst it feels like my neck is rolling on broken glass .Every year I have to have a ketamine treatment to be allow me to have some quality of life. My most supportive and caring Dr Clayton Thomas and his fellow Colleagues has been on this whole journey with me. They have shown me impeccable support and understanding during the all the years of my treatments. They have helped to make an extremely hard situation more easy. My most recent treatment was delayed by an extra 6 months due to COVID-19 which has given me more intense and disabilitating pain and this has made having to work through all the paperwork, arranging of accommodation and flights, much more difficult. When confirming my stay at Cabrini Brighton hospital, I received a call from a most wonderful, understanding and caring administration staff member named Neesh. She was an absolute Angel, so professional and impeccable which was something that I’ve never experienced during the Admin process before. Neesh helped me at a time when my pain was so excruciating and unbearable, with her caring, helpful, understanding nature it made my admission seem so easy and believe me it hasn’t been at many times. This experience brought me tears of happiness to have someone understand what I was going through. I was so impressed I quickly rang my partner Leigh to tell her of my experience. The caringness at this hospital goes far beyond what is required, the staff are so friendly and go the extra mile to make sure your stay is the most pleasurable and comfortable that it can be. These professional attributes helped me in such a big way during my treatment and recovery . So from the bottom of my heart I would love to thank the staff at Cabrini Brighton starting with Dr Clayton Thomas, Dr Shum ,Dr Praskier , Neesh, Geraldine, Tina , Hero , Tingting , Mary and many more . Again…….Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay during a difficult time that has resulted in me receiving the most from my ketamine and allowing me to have another year with no pain. Kindest Regards, Paul Hermence

As long as one can afford the service, it is quite good, most of the nurses are caring but some have been at it a bit long and no longer notice or care but overall a wonderful service from the surgery and pre and post care teams

Had to have a cat scan at Cabrini Brighton and the lady who did it was really empathetic and lovely. I absolutely hate hospitals (petrified of them) but in this is instance it was a weirdly positive experience, so thank you.

I had a Flexible Cystoscopy performed by Dr David Dangerfield on the 21/08/2020 and must say the whole process from check in to release was absolutely first class. I could not speak more highly of all involved and was most appreciative and grateful for the professional skill, care and bedside manner provided by Dr Dangerfield, his wonderful staff and the rest of the hospital team. Sincerely John Crouch.

My partner has had two surgeries here and each time he leaves telling me how great a hospital it is. It is always his first choice for care, the staff and the efficiency at which the hospital is run are the real stand outs.

I have just spent a week undergoing treatment at Cabrini Brighton. During my stay in ward 49 I was cared for by many nurses and staff who, without exception, treated me with kindness, patience and professionalism. I cannot remember all the names of the carers but would like tocongratulate 'Maree' for motivating her Team of heroes. All of you made a difficult period in my life comfortable and cheerful Kind Regards John Evans

15th May 2020 - Admitted for 3 nights, great nurses, great care and sensitivity. Thank you. 2019Cabrini Health cafe ... Went to grab an espresso as nothing really works to start my day, at the cafe they were very helpful, I gave them a special coffee cup for a coffee and it wasn’t too much trouble at all to make the additional coffee the way my hubby likes it. Thank you! The stay so far has been great and all our needs have been met. We have a fairly large room for Danny’S wheelchair and walk in shower in the first floor. We purchased a GoMobility shower chair and it was assembled in less than 10 mins, the bathroom is big enough for this mobile chair to live as well. Danny as Cerebral Palsy and the nurses offer any assistance I need. Theatre staff were great, Ellie and ?Helen popped their heads in to say hello when we were in recovery, another nurse did Danny’S assessment sorry I forget your name but we remember her from our last visit. Thank you for making this stay friendly.

My positive experience with my 3 day stay at Cabrini Brighton was overshadowed by unprofessional administration staff who lied about added costs associated with my surgery charging me for surgical glue and items that should have been covered in the $10k plus I paid them Nursing staff were fantastic
