Great atmosphere Wheelchair friendly Family Run business Smart menu with delicious pate and home baked bread. Great place to catch up with friends or have an ambient bevi after work. Highly recommended.

Nice friendly pub in the Eastern Suburbs ..... No need to visit Richmond. I had the Calamari and a beer for $35.50. Good warehouse style ambience. Perhaps there can be live music after Covid .... we can only dream.

We had a small get together for my husbands birthday here recently and it was just a fantastic experience. We were after a venue that was kid friendly, didn’t have a minimum spend and where our guests could order their own food and Mitcham Social fit the bill and so much more! The staff were so easy to communicate with and nothing was too much trouble - they even put out a few toys knowing that we had kids in our party. Even my usually pizza hating mum commented on how incredible the food was! I could go on and on about what a gem of a venue this is and how well run it is. I think we’ll be having many more get togethers here in the future!

I met a friend here for lunch. The service was friendly and welcoming. We shared a pulled lamb and chirozo wood fired pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't what I was expecting. The lamb was small cubes, and the chirozo wasn't on the pizza. Unless I missed it? The pizza base was ok, but for $32, it wasn't the best value. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing? We shared a bottle of mineral water, but they have a good range of beers on tap.

Cold winter's evening and was so nice sitting next to the fire. We came for the burger and were not disappointed. Cool venue and a very helpful and welcoming owner who greeted us and found us a table even with no booking. (We came early)

After driving past on Rooks rd many times , we stopped past this afternoon on our way back from lunch in Melbourne. The owners and the whole family that work here are great. The establishment is a former steel works , and they have turned it into a very welcoming bar/ bistro. Gives you that industrial type feel with a inner city vibe. Highly recommended for a meal or even a few drinks on the way home.

First time visitor here with friends and had a great time. The atmosphere is great. Background music is great, you can have easy conversations without screaming. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Most important the food was awesome. Pizzas very tasty home style cooking. Steak with gravy was superb. The buffalo chicken wings were super tasty and a little spicy. Highly recommend this place.

We have been meaning to come try this place but only got the chance today. The place is huge. It looks like a warehouse turned to pub. Love the huge ceiling fun. Staff are friendly. We ordered 3 dips and ribs which were really delicious. There were lots of families dining in. I definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous venue, great food, hip atmosphere, and good service. It was very busy, so book. Parking wasn't easy as it's a busy industrial area but there's parking within walking distance of the venue. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant/club for special occasions or just family dinner... very good 💕

What an unexpected gem! I ordered the lamb. My cousin, Issy, took me here to celebrate her son's recent graduation. Issy looks a little older these days but she still has her sense of humour! Loved the atmosphere. I wish that Ron could have joined.

We ordered 2 salami pizza and added some stuff on them,at the end we had to pay 35 dollars for each one. food noticeably higher price than would be expected for that standard. Unfortunately,I do not recommend this place to people for having food here.

This is a fantastic venue with a wonderful vibe and great stuff. The food is tasty, a particularly enjoy the fried chicken burger. I would offer five stars if the beer selection matched the food quality, but it is fairly mainstay.

Hidden away, would not know its here. Rarely have I been somewhere where I can honestly say was awesome Had the lamb shoulder, wow. Could not cut it as was so tender it fell apart. Staff super friendly, food fantastic, menu nice and simple but wholesome. Service was second to none, one dessert we ordered we did not get the extra options, manager came to us to offer a part refund, you don't get this service these days

Pretty nice and relaxed venue offering your choice of pub food and plenty of drinks to go around as well. We ordered the pizza, flatbread, ribs and chips. The ribs were one of the best ones we've had, however the pizza is very average. The base reminds me of a coles/woolies base. Overall it was definitely a nice experience and well worth a visit for some casual dining.

Had a fantastic lunch sitting outside for Father’s Day. We have 2 lamb shoulders, garlic pizza, salad, chips. Great amount for 9 people and the food was really good.

this place was great. despite being FULL the service was prompt and very friendly. the calamari was some of the best I ever had. the cocktails on tap where delicious 😋😍. everyone in my group loved there food. will be back.

Have been to the Mitcham Social a few times as it's only a short walk from the main drag of Mitcham and is several times nicer than anything else in the area. Great ambiance thanks to the high industrial ceilings and gentle lighting. Every time I've been, there has been a new selection of beers on tap. Food is great but on the pricier side. Woodfire pizzas are the highlight. If you want a more memorable night, skip the bistro and enjoy an evening at the Social before heading out elsewhere or as the main destination of your evening.

I like the open atmosphere, easy access and no stress no-pay parking right out front. Our table of 7 BB musicians had our regular 6-stringers catch up for the first time at Mitcham Social Club and we'll be back again. Thanks too for being okay with us playing our acoustic guitars and singing great songs of the 60's and 70's. The staff were getting in on it too 😃. CYA next time. Our first time here. Great lively atmosphere in an amazing revamped warehouse with lofty ceilings & background music. A hidden gem we didn't know existed until a friend recommended it as her favourite local go to. Parking was easy with a spot right outside the restaurant. Staff were excellent, warm & welcoming & service was prompt. Enjoyed our tasty wood-fired pizzas with a nice bottle of red. Very happy we visited.

Highly recommend to eat Sticky Pork Rib Rack, 🤤don’t miss it! And the cheese burger 🍔 is delicious 😋

Great venue. We went on a very hot night and they tried very hard to keep us cool. Food was pub pizza type food but great quality. Not expensive Drinks were good variety. Tables basic and relaxing.
