OUTSTANDING SERVICE! And no harm to our precious bees! I called Ben's Bees yesterday because we needed urgent help at our three story apartment block in South Yarra. Apparently this is the time of year when scout bees are on the lookout for a new home. Whilst I'm a bee supporter, we certainly don't want them nesting through our brickwork and into our roof cavities. Rather than engaging a standard pest control company who wanted to charge us $2,000+ to kill the bees, we called Ben's Bees. Cal was onsite within a couple of hours, he was professional, helpful, and did a brilliant and thorough job, using a product that encouraged the bees to leave, rather than killing them. And, we were charged less than a quarter of the pest control company price!! We had bees turn up at our house, there was easily 30-40 I think. We're in a rental so unfortunately I couldn't hire Ben, it wasn't my choice, but I wanted the Bees to be saved if possible. Ben gave me advice and spoke to me when he didn't have to and didn't have anything to gain from it. Huge respect and I really appreciate him doing that. He mentioned it might be scout bees and they may not come back, so far so good, they've not returned and no Bees had to be harmed which is the perfect outcome.

We found a wasp nest on the eaves of our house & I contacted Bens Bees based on their positive reviews & approach. I had a fast reply by text & within 30 mins Ash had arrived & talked me through what she was going to do, using pet friendly plant based formula. I preferred this option to chemicals around our kids and pets. It took only 20 minutes to do & we discovered there were actually three nests in the same area in total. Ash looked around the rest of the house to ensure all the wasps were gone. She mentioned that they have a 3 month guarantee, so Im confident we won't have any issues. Super happy with the result, fast friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I now have a lovely jar of honey & no wasps. The 5 star reviews are well deserved!

If I could give 10 stars, I'd give 10 stars ! I can't recall a more professional, lovely and good hearted people than Ben and Ash. Wasps were removed safely and quickly, offered follow up service/checkup...made our family feel safe. Very rare to see such high quality people and business these days. Ok, how do I put this into words? Let's start by saying that we were horrified to find a large and very active wasp nest in our garden (under our subfloor) late yesterday afternoon. I sent a text message to Ben's Bees just before 8.30pm last night and received an almost instant response with some information and a quote. We accepted and the lovely Ash arrived at 8am this morning to remove the nest. That in itself is incredible service. But on top of that, Ash was so lovely and generous in her time while she was here, answering our endless stream of questions. She was super professional and efficient in the removal of the wasps and the nest itself and after we paid she handed us a jar of honey, which acts as their 'business card.' How lovely is that?! I can not thank or recommend Ben's Bees more highly. Thank you Ben and Ash, you guys are awesome!!

Truly amazing customer service, Ben is so lovely! The beeswax candles smell like something straight out of heaven, and it feels so good that they’re clean and healthy to burn… I’ll never go back to the toxic endocrine disrupting candles again! Also, the creamed honey is sooo good! I never would’ve guessed it was a thing, haha who knew… but it’s a favourite of mine for sure. 😍

I was looking for something different than the honey we can buy from the supermarket, they are nice but I wanted something unique. My colleague recommended me to check Bens Bee out. Unique was found, I was so excited to find the little bee house store in a middle of suburbia, when I'm in there, I feel like I was entering a tiny bee world! In addition to this cute experience, I am so impressed with the taste of Bens Bee honey and the honeycomb! The honeycomb did not have a price tag on it, I wasn't sure of how much it was and I have never bought honeycomb before, after I got home I messaged Bens Bee and felt I was paying too little. They messaged me back and said I don't have to pay extra as a thank you for a first customer. Ben and their staff member Cal were absolutely fantastic. Easily identified wasps for us, we were booked in within a few days and they did a great job getting rid of them. We discovered a swarm of bees right outside our second story home yesterday evening and initially contacted someone who said it would be difficult to remove. However, when we contacted Ben's Bees this morning via their website, Ben responded via email almost immediately. Within 2 hours, Cal arrived to assess how the bees could be safely removed (despite it being a difficult area to reach). He was so cheerful, polite and patiently explained a few possible solutions! The job was done in about an hour, with little hassle and with no mess at all. Relieved us of our stress so quickly and also gave us a jar of honey at the end of the job (a very pleasant surprise!). Hi Ben, i received a lovely bee candle today for my birthday which smells devine and looks great

We bought a Nuc from Ben in June 2021. That Sept/Oct having also bought two boxes, with waxed frames from Ben, we set up the hive - transferring the bees from the Nuc to the new - freshly painted hive boxes. A very easy and uncomplicated process. The assistance provided was excellent. Subsequently bought another box to use as a Super. Put in a Queen Excluder between the second and third box. Like everyone else, the Spring was less than ordinary. Had some small harvests of honey through the Summer, about 3 kilos. End of March Ben loaned me the spinner to deal with the combs from the second brood box - no larvae etc., so just a good honey harvest - 12.6 kgs. With the spinner, harvesting was easy - Thank You Ben. Looking forward to 2022/23.

I am a massive supporter in buying and supporting local produce. Ben’s honey is the most amazing tasting honey!!!! Love that he uses glass jars and recyclable cardboard on the candles. The hive is unique and always swinging past to stock. The best part is that BEN is an absolute legend!!!!!!

Highly recommend Ben and Cal at Ben's Bees! Cal attended a couple of times to remove a bee community that had taken up residence in our possum box. They responded very quickly so that our backyard would be safe for a family Christmas. We care for our bee community and it was great that they were able to take the hive away to preserve the bees. On top of which we even got some delicious honey! Excellent work.
