I have been heavily involved in the firearms industry for many years, I have always had good dealings with gunco in years gone by, but upon returning there recently I was met with the rudest and most insulting person I've ever encountered. I was accused of trying to sell a firearm that doesn't belong to me, despite it coming up in my name when they searched the serial... The staff member in question was difficult from the moment I walked in, clearly had no interest in helping me from the start... I'll never do business with them again and anyone who asks me where to go, where I usually sent them the gunco, I'll be advising them otherwise from now on.... Only 1 star because I couldn't select zero....

Dont bother with this dump of a store...go elsewhere. Staff are rude as hell and extremely unhelpful/uninterested.

I'd give it a zero if I could. Never in the entire time of dealing with gunshops have I encounted the sheer arrogance of this one. Was told that I had to wait two weeks for payment, no other shop has done that. Then to be treated like a criminal with the owner going outback with his employee whispering being subtlety accused that I had stolen the Gun. Poor form poor shop. I will endeavour to make sure those I know about these idiots and to never go there.

Had great customer service here every time i've come through. They have always provided me with expert advice and answered every question no matter how big or small. The range is pretty good and they usually hold quite a lot of ammunition in stock although they are usually slightly more expensive than some other shops the fact that they have the stock keeps me coming back.

Extensive range, excellent service, good stock of ammo. Honest business, never promise what they couldn't deliver. Customer service is excellent. Adrian is a legend. So far - the best salesperson. P.S. And yes, they are busy at times. Busy with customers, therefore phone calls are not handy.

Ordered from store 4 days ago for pick up, tried calling, no answer, sent email, no response come to the store during business hours, closed and locked up. Quick to take my money. That was a fathers day present and I thought it would be ready for pick up quicker than post. Why have an online store and offer the pick up option? Why have adjusted opening times on google business when the store is closed?

Very friendly staff, extremely helpful and knowledgeable made my experience very nice to prepare myself for the next hunting session.

Don’t buy any items from this shop always closed . Never pick up phone no reply to emails . Always item on lay by . No response poor customer service . Less open more closed shop. Suggestion for everyone don’t waste your time and money to go to this shop . Please try other good dealer

I have been shopping at Gunco for years now. I actually purchased my first firearm from Gunco many years ago. Last few times I was in the entire team was extremely friendly and super helpful except for Andrew. On both occasions he came across as very arrogant. Does not seem like he knows much about anything He had no idea about how to assemble a straight pull shotgun. He was telling me I had a gun on layby which had been paid off and collected almost a year ago. Permits coming in and not being notified and being quoted one price and then overcharging upon collection. If I was dealing with Frank or Theo I would have given a 5 star rating.

Place has gone downhill. I was after something that was on there website and I called them and they said they don’t sell that product anymore. How about up dating your website on products that you have got in store.

Went in store today. Had Andrew serve us and was very helpful with all our questions. Also, when enquiring into purchasing a new rifle, he informed us, best to come back in a few weeks when new stock comes in at a reduced price. Also, Theo walks past us and straight away knew my husbands name, Sam, and said hi. He was in 2 years ago and he remembered him and where he works. What amazing customer service and very friendly. Was great back in the day with the old owner now the staff are rude and slow would have given 1 star but they do have a big range of stuff but I think I'll go somewhere else if I can avoid it

First time coming in since covid/new owners have taken over. Customer service gone down hill. Grumpy "experienced" staff that aren't willing to give advice to beginners. Still a great range throughout the store though.

Everything you need under the one roof. Reasonably priced.

I have been on web site and visited the store a few times lately. A bit frustrating when 4 staff members totally ignore you until they finish there chat! Range is good, ammo not as cheap as it use to be. A couple of the staff are knowledgeable but most have no idea.

Awesome customer service. Jeremy spend 10-15min with me explaining and advising on diferent products. I just recently got into shooting so visiting this shop and talking to Jeremy more than worth it.

Frank and Adrian were excellent with dealing with my wife and I today. I had a rifle transfered to their store and they had helped me with fitting a scope scope I bought into my rifle. (Howa 1500 mini action oryx chassis). Have been to the store multiple times and everyone in the store has provided both professional and friendly services to both my wife and I. I will be coming agian. Keep up the good work everyone!!

Had a pleasant experiance buying my first rifle from frank, he was very informative and helpful and gave great advice on my purchase.

Very patient and friendly staff. One of the best stores to buy ammunition from as they have the best prices. One of the best ranges on 12G cartridges too. Very nice store with just about anything you could want.

Have been in a few times for a look and never had an issue getting attention....place can be busy you just have to say "hi". They have good stock and prices, nice facebook deals.

Generally very good customer service. I have received questionable advice about less common calibres such as 6.5x55, but overall it has been a good experience shopping at Gunco.

Awesome shop. The older bloke will happily chat to you all day and provide good advise. You can tell he isn’t pushing for a sale but is passionate about the hobby. My go-to store.

Staff were helpful and shop layout is excellent. Not all things in stock due to Covid.

Bloody have no idea about the price one says 'A' and other says 'B' over the phone and when you visit them in store it will be 'Z'. not going to trust them over the phone and get the price.

Nearly three decades of being a licensed firearms owner and been to most all gun shops in the state, with the exception of Gunco until today. My impressions were the best laid out gun store in Victoria. More than ample space for browsing and a uninhibited view of the current stock. It was great to be able to roam around the store without the all too familiar tight confines adjoined with narrow aisles. The gentleman who served me was personable and very knowledgeable in the many and varied aspects of the shooting sports. In conversations with myself and other customers he spoke authoritatively on optics, scope mounting, competition shooting, deer hunting and appropriate calibres for different applications. I find it impossible to believe he would be rude and disrespectful to any customer regardless whether he or she is an experienced shooter or not. Respect is always a two way street.
