I come to this Coles many times, one of the worst for discounts, they rarely discount there items even if it near the due date, the discount is still like the full price what is up with this? Customer service is amazing but this Coles is very tight out of all the Coles I have known in Melbourne.

Its small good for a quick shop of necessities doesnt have a full range of products

Great variety and 2 big coles store just opposite each other and a big parking in between for variety and ample parking in Clayton suburb.

Coles Clayton is one place which we visit weekly to buy groceries for the week. It is near out place. The place is well maintained, neat and clean. Parking spaces are easily available. There is another Coles just opposite to this Coles. Liquorland is also nearby.

This store is the better of the 2 Coles in the main area of Clayton but there is always something in the aisles, and the staff are not very helpful. At the self serve they watch you like a hawk and make you feel like you’re going to steal things. They generally are out of stock on certain items such as baby formula and long life milk. They’re constantly carrying on conversations between staff members, yelling from register to register about breaks and things, whilst a serving customers. Took this photo after the lady with the Kane nearly ran into it, as did I. Do better Coles, this isn’t good enough.

Good choices. The parking says 15 minutes and the bays are narrow, a letdown.

Larger than the one across the parking lot so I buy most of my items here. Staff are very friendly and knowledgable, always willing to refer me and sometimes even take me to aisles. Sucks that they removed the deli although now they package deli meat.

It's gone fully self serve. Workers standing around watching like Hawks. Very saddened that this has happened

Can NOT buy gift cards even when advertised in there catalogues They tried to send me down the road to ask there other store but they are in the same boat sinking. Why advertise in a catalogue and never sell it. Very strange. Maybe you need to combine the 2 stores together to make a full supermarket and not be two half shops.

Not well managed. Fruits are mostly rotten. I've seen mouldy cherries, strawberries, and rotten water melon on the shelf. They don't discount the near expiry items and throw it, very unsual for a super market and bad for environment. The carts are not actively brought back.

Worst coles I’ve been to. Never have full stock of veggies and fruits. Layout is different to other coles so it’s very confusing trying to find things as they’re not in same isles like other coles. For instance eggs are near noodles not in the fridge section lol And no deli or bakery ???? Whyyyy

Shania very rude REFUSED to help at self check out ( other Coles employees at ANYOTHER stores always helps ) they are self check outs yes but assistance is provided when requested and when I went to the check out that is manned ( they only have 1 she she said it's only for cigirates but other people went and bought general grocery items (not cigirates what ever is STUCK UP YOUR @SS YOU NEED TO GET IT OUT YOU RUDE BIT¢H

It's was great to shop here on my way back from seeing my brother in Monash hospital. I was able to buy most things I needed so thanks

I like Coles but went shopping today and I just thought I'd check my docket which is something I never do but l was horrified at all the items that went up 👆 they only tell you about how many items have gone down 👇 my Tetley Chai Latte Tea 🍵 went up $1-75 in 1 hit l mean PENSIONERS Coles come on where do you shop?????

Wont be shopping there again... all checkouts are now self serve and minimal staff. More cost cutting and corporate greed on show. Customers dont work there Coles!!

I have been a weekly regular customer of this Coles. I enjoy shopping here every time, the shop is so clean and tidy. The staff members like Shansheel, Joyce, Brandon and name a few are super friendly and helpful. I would particularly thank Brandon for his keeping the self-help checkout machines very clean and proactively helping customers. A wonderful shop and excellent people! Thank you! Here is so unique Coles. On the same parking area there are 2 Coles. So, sometimes hard to find what I need. At first time, I had to travel both of Coles to cross check which one has what I need. Good things is each end of parking Coles so that I can shop easily wherever I park because I can access quickly.

Very organized store with labeled isles, helpful and knowledgeable staff, friendly and kind. You can find almost all edible stuff on this place and good value for money.

Coles is great, however parking in the area is very bad. Always difficult to get a spot and always busy!

I wish they had a bigger selection of meat products but apart from that I found everything else I was looking for and staff was helpful.

Bigger Coles on the other side of the clayton shops parking area. Doesn't have a deli though but has some of the deli products packaged up. The Coles flatbreads are available. Vegetable and fruit section has more choices.

Low quality produce & fruit, lots of perishable stock close to expiry. Staff are kind and helpful, Coles just needs to sort out its logistics which is clearly disadvantaging this store. Pretty sure Tooronga Coles doesn't sell green potatoes... this one shouldn't be either.

Two Coles Supermarkets at either ends of the car park! One had cut lunches and the other didn’t, so you know which one got my custom!

Two small size stores in the same car park, both have fewer stocks.

This magical centre has everything you could ever want! An indoor snow palace, free skydiving from a supersonic jet, a beautiful scenic beach with immaculately untouched reefs and bountiful wild, friendly animals roaming free around the store. There is even an exhibition with real life, ressurected dinosaurs! No, I'm just kidding. It's a grocery store. But because of the fourth lockdown in Melbourne recently ending, this Coles is the most exciting place I've been to in a while.

Ok grocery and general store. Does not refill stock effectively, especially the reduced price stock. Team members are polite and helpful.

Store on both side kept pushing responsibilities when there are no item in stock but written as in stock when asked. So went between the store 3 times and get no issues resolved. And the attitude from the store near to chemist warehouse is horrible. Asked them to call the store at Hong Kong market. Told me it is none of their business. I shall make call instead. And the phone is useless, no one picked it up. I have to walk back again during big rainy day.

I generally carry my own bag everyday, due to that once I forgot to scan the 15cents bag, the mid aged Indian lady standing at the self service was rude as if I’m stealing 15cents…lol .. felt very awkward ..you disgusting lady, just come and tell with a smile to scan as people do forget sometimes, such a pathetic staff at this big coles… lay-off these Mid aged Indian man all the Indians staff at the self service here… they are lazy n always will be chit chatting instead of helping customers …

Very bad experience. I forgot to scan carry bag & put groceries inside. She asked me in front of everyone to scan carry bag while going outside. I did it & paid 15 cents. I felt so embarrassed.

Not happy at all Coles, very bad now. All checkouts are now self serve and as a pensioner I find it difficult to pack groceries. There is not many staff around to help and I will not ever shop there again. Coles has let me down, Woolworths Clarinda is much better and lots of friendly staff.

Staff needs to be trained better. Asked the people working there if the Coles prepaid $120 SIM will work without a debit card (I was new to Australia and needed a phone number to apply for one). It's ok that none of them knew, but one of them simply told me to "go for it" even though they didn't know if I could activate the card without a debit/ credit card. Well, lucky I didn't listen to the advise or it would have costed me $120 for nothing. No other complains - everything else is pretty ok. Big carpark outside. No toilets for visitors besides the disgusting one in the carpark.

Worst ever place to shop the staff doesn’t know any thing whatsoever i bought a can of monster 13.80 was the price same thing had happened with me before also in other coles and the item was made free because it is what they are suppose to do if they overpriced any customer they changed it to lipton ice tea and when i asked they said that it was damaged can then why would u put it in a retail isle pathetic manager debbie had no idea whatever she was doing and then defending the staff great work

The staff at this Coles store in Clayton are fantastic with helping customers and always cheerful. The food quality is great and have most of the items I need in stock. Like most shops, sometimes they are out of stock due to high demand for the product or deliveries are running later than usual. I always have a very pleasant experience when I go shop there 3 times per week.

Had a great experience at this Coles with the store manager Michael. Really great customer service.
