The order was ready promptly and accurately. The good prices allowed me to purchase in bulk, which I prefer. The store had the bulky items in close accessibility to the front door. So I could park close to the front door and load more easily at store. The young lady attending to my e-order was.most helpful, offering to bring the big bags out to my car. The offer and attentiveness was very much appreciated.

Lots of products and options, but most importantly, super friendly staffs! Last time when I visited, someone who was on a day off helped me out and today when I visited they helped me so patiently with my purchase requests and helping me carrying them to the car. Huge shout out to the staff team! Best shopping experience ever.

We have an elderly, sweet little rescue boy Harry who needs some extra TLC. The staff here adore him and take the greatest care with him, he is never stressed by his visit and comes home looking gorgeous. I highly recommend the professional, caring, genuine attitude and skill of the team here. Make sure to book in advance as they're booked out for weeks ahead.

The store staff are great but that’s about it. Took our pup for groom and I was charged extra for long coat and extra time to groom it. Fine. But they rushed and trimmed to skin and I only see patches all over the body. Pup was terribly groomed and came back with matted hair and patches of poorly trimmed all over the body. The lady was not customer friendly either and pup was not happy so I don’t think they take of dogs properly here. Don’t goto this store for grooming. Spend your money elsewhere.

The service was great I rang to see if they were open with in five minutes they returned my call So I walked there it was the first time there Because of the service I will definitely go back again

We had a great experience at the groomers, they took special care of our anxious three-legged dog and really went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. We could tell she had heaps of fun! Brie and Elizabeth very kindly gave her a little Christmas bandana and some treats to take home. Thanks so much❤️

Good clean store. Has lots available for your pet and or furry friend. I loved that this store has grooming, training and pet care facilities. I travelled here to meet and greet the dogs available for adoption. Sadly I just missed the one I had enquired about, however, so happy she found a lovely family to go home to and make happy. Definitely will be back if more meet and greets, however, I wish the pet barn Westside would partner with animal sanctuaries to organise meet and greets closer to home. More opportunities to meet and chat with staff and rescuer’s about the potential furry friend for adoption.

Great service and facilities. Lost 1 star Bcs would be great to be able to stop the timer when all I was using was the rinse as I had my own shampoo etc and did not need all other items. And needed to just have the medicated shampoo that I was using to sit on his coat. Hope that this is something that can be looked at as I wish to use the facilities more. Thank you

We had our 18 week old labradoodle groomed here today. It was his first time at a groomers and so we were told he had to have a puppy groom (the very first one) so that can can get used to it. This involved some trimming around his face and tail, trimming his nails and washing his fur. We couldn't remember the name of the staff member, but she had dark red/brown hair and worked in the grooming section. My partner dropped him off at 1pm and was told he would be finished between 3-4pm. My partner returned at 4pm (as no one had communicated with her for an earlier time), and she was told that they were running incredibly late so the dog would only be finished at 4:30pm as that is when they close. My partner and I had not been notifed at all about the time delay. At 4:30 my partner went back in and they stated that they couldn't finish the job because our puppy was too energetic and we 'needed to do a better job at training him otherwise no one is going to even touch him for a groom in the future' (note, they had booked him in for his very first puppy groom). They also cut his claws too close and he was bleeding all over the floor (to which they blamed my partner on because of him not being trained that he wriggled too much). They also said that his dislike for the blow-dryer and his movement when cutting around his eyes is our fault because of his lack of training (it literally is his first puppy groom). The staff member mentioned above was very rude and made multiple passive aggressive remarks. Even when our dog saw my partner he was so excited he piddled .. to which the staff member made a snide remark, sighed heavily and seemed incredibly 'put out' .. honestly, an 18 week old who had been inside for three hours waiting for his groom would of course have a full bladder. They also charged us the full amount without finishing the job, and left my partner feeling inferior. The only saving grace for a 2 star review were the staff at the counter (purple and green haired individuals) .. their kindness (including giving our dog a treat, to which he sat on command for) helped my partner to see that the other staff's attitude was incredibly rude and inappropriate... our dogs behaviour is quite reasonable for just a puppy.

Always have what we need, and if they don't have exactly what we are looking for they offer alternatives... Great staff.

Petbarn Preston is always a great experience. The staff both in the store and the vet are always knowledgeable, patient and welcoming of questions, the range of products is good and there's always a good amount to choose from. Customer service is always excellent.

The store experience was generally positive, but I encountered unsatisfactory customer service from an employee named 'Inda' or similar. When I inquired about product availability, she appeared disinterested and dismissive, failing to clarify my question. Moreover, she insisted that the store never stocked the product, despite my recent purchase of it there. Interestingly, I checked the store's website and found that the product was simply out of stock.

Well set up store. Great variety and stock is not out of date, unlike others nearby. Check online first as there are often discounts that the store will then have to match.

Took my dog in for her first shampoo/groom. She's a big puppy. A Newfoundland. The staff were perfectly happy dealing with such a big dog. I found the staff to be friendly, professional and I had no problems in leaving my dog with them. It took them 3 hours to do my dog and then they called me to come and pick her up . They did tell me off a bit (in the nicest way) for letting some of my dogs coat get matted and showed me how to avoid this in the future . To summarise ,- great people, great job. We'll be back

First place I went once I picked up my new puppy. The team member helped me pick out everything I needed for the first night. She was very honest and knowledgeable about the products helping me decide what's enough to start with. I didn't catch her name but she was very calm and patient with me! Thanks!

My little puppy Henley already become famous at this pet shop while we going for a dog wash for the first time , the staff are very friendly , and Henley had some free treat when he finish his wash. Highly recommended, and the staff are too friendly

My brother and I went in looking for some pet sunscreen. We spoke to a staff member, I can't remember her name unfortunately, I think her nickname was Nev? But she was absolutely awesome and gave some great advice and was really helpful!

I placed an order for dog food click and collect, because my dog likes to visit the store and smell everything. But the next morning I tested positive for covid. I called the store and they were so great about switching it to a delivery for me, excellent customer service.

I have been to Pet Barn Preston a few times now that we have a new pup groodle. I had reason to return today to swap over some Black Hawk dry food. I was served by Lee, his advise, knowledge, pleasant nature and customer service was first class. I’ve just adopted two Staffies and petbarn was my first stop to stock up on everything we needed. It can be overwhelming trying to figure out what the best food/toys/or dental products are, but luckily Elizabeth took that burden off my shoulders and put my mind at ease right away. Thank you for being so helpful and knowledgeable Elizabeth, your customer service was 11/10, you’re an absolute asset to Petbarn! 😊

Good pet store. Always spotless and tidy. There were lots of dogs waiting for a wash. But not happy Mummy, don't wanna have a wash. 😞 But excellent dogs care section featuring a "dog parking station" 😀 Recommended

Fantastic grooming staff, trimmed my dogs nail and cut out a few knots, very caring and understanding. A genuine groomer who exceeded my expectations. Easy booking process , reasonable price, easy to get to and ample parking.

Great place to shop for your pets needs, store is well stocked and clean. Prices are bit on the expenside side so do your research before you shop.

I used the Petbarn Preston store to use the monthly dog wash facilities. It gets very hot doing this and I took my woollen jumper off. Unfortunately, I did not notice, that my hands free earpiece had got caught up in the collar and dislodged itself. Falling on the floor under the seating bench provided. I did not notice, this until I was on my way home and my phone rang. Then, I realised that the earpiece wasn’t in my ear anymore. On returning home, I called the store. and spoke to “Josh”, the assistant manager. He offered to go and look in the Dog wash area, to see, if he could find it. He came back a few minutes later. Stating, that it wasn’t there. During the day I looked everywhere. Thinking maybe, it had fallen in the car after I had returned to it with the dog. Still no luck. So, 30 minutes before closing time for Petbarn. I drive back to the store, in the hope, that someone had handed the expensive earpiece in at the counter. The staff were busy dealing with a queue of customers. So, I instead went back to the dog wash area and looked around and under the seating area. There was the earpiece, waving it’s hand saying “ I’m here, I’m here. Surely you can see me, unless your blind”. That’s was my exact thought on picking up the earpiece and angrily storming out to confront Josh at the counter. I said to him. Yes, sure you had a good look for it. Yet, as soon as I walked in. There was the earpiece obviously lying there on the floor. 🤬 I said and angrily walked out. I honestly cannot believe it was too much effort to actually look for it. The longest i5 would have taken was a minute. Or if not to just say “mate I’m too busy”. Instead he choose to lie or pretend that he had actually LOOKED, like he claimed to have done. If not for my instance that it must be there. I would have lost a very expensive iPhone earpiece. No, thanks to your assistance manager. If the store or business is run the way he bothers to look, Petbarn must be extremely desperate for TRUSTWORTHY staff. Anyway, You have DEFINITELY lost a 15 years, loyal customer. When I use a business, the minimum I expect is honesty at the least. Otherwise, why would I use them. Give them my custom or my money? Nowadays, there are plenty of optional choices out there…!

Always friendly staff to me and my dog. Good loyalty rewards and good advice for food for pets. Clean open store than meets my dog needs. Found Ky staff member especially helpful even offering to carry my 20kl bag of food to the car. A DELIGHT.

Terrible in store experience. Visited in the middle of the day and there were boxes and rubbish from the staff everywhere. I almost tripped and could not push my trolley around AT ALL. I only came in for a few things including frozen food and surprise, the freezers were COMPLETELY blocked off! (See photo). That was the last straw and what made me put everything in my trolley back on the shelves and leave. I went to another pet store and won't ever be shopping at petbarn again. It seemed completely uneccesary having 4-5 staff members at the registers and most were not even paying attention to the customers and were gossiping with each other and even on a mobile, whilse the rest of the shop was this dirty.

I bought two feliway refills today and was so impressed by the service I received from the staff member that assisted me (a woman with dark hair who mentioned she has 4 cats!). Chatted to my mother afterwards who also attends this store and she also mentioned how fantastic this woman is. I don't normally write google reviews but she was so incredibly friendly and helpful that I wanted to jump on here and give her a shout out- lovely woman.

Would just like to say how impressed I am with the same day delivery as well as the two delivery staff who dropped off my purchases. I've had problems with delivery drivers not delivering even when I'm home all day if the buzzer decides to stop working, but yours called to let me know they were here. They were friendly, fast and efficient. They went above and beyond carrying the two packages in. I hope you pass on the feedback and let them know how appreciated their work is

Helpful and friendly staff. They will price match against any online price in Australia, check them out. They have a very good range of products for all pet types.

The staff are always so friendly and helpful in here. Unfortunately my cat died recently and I had to return an unopened bag of biscuits. All the staff at the counter came over to tell me how sorry they were and we all had a bit of a chat about our cats and how great they are.

Every staff member I’ve met has been friendly, knowledgeable and has gone out of their way to provide great service. Many thanks to this amazing team and their hard work!
