came
in
on
Wednesday
due
to
extreme
back
pain
and
brain
fog,
barely
able
to
move
or
walk.
I
had
intense
brain
fog
and
could
not
talk
properly.
my
partner
took
me
to
austin.
we
were
told
only
patients
could
enter.
i
tried
to
explain
to
the
lady
and
the
first
window
i
was
struggling
to
communicate
and
move
needed
my
partner
to
assist
me.
she
condescendingly
told
me
i
was
communicating
fine
(which
was
completely
untrue)
but
she
said
we
could
speak
to
the
nurses.
fortunately
the
nurses
were
okay
with
my
partner
staying
however
the
nurse
putting
my
information
was
completely
abrupt
and
disrespectful.
whilst
i
was
struggling
with
immense
pain
and
brain
fog
I
was
scolded
as
my
private
heath
card
did
not
have
my
legal
name,
which
led
my
partner
to
tell
the
woman
she
did
not
need
to
be
so
abrupt,
i
was
then
scolded
as
my
GOVERNMENT
SUPPLIED
heath
care
card
expired
in
a
week.
after
this
woman
left
i
was
told
i
would
get
my
bloods
taken.
I
waited
several
hours,
asked
when
i
would
get
the
tests
done,
and
was
still
made
to
wait,
while
patients
who
arrived
after
me
had
theirs
done.
i
was
in
agonising
pain
and
desperately
wanted
help.
when
my
bloods
were
finally
taken
the
nurse
entirely
unnecessarily
brought
up
my
“mental
health
concerns”,
which
were
only
expressed
to
one
nurse
when
i
told
her
i
had
PTSD
and
did
not
want
to
be
alone
at
a
hospital.
this
comment
made
me
feel
degraded
and
erased.
It
made
me
feel
as
though
these
nurses
only
saw
me
as
someone
with
mental
health
issues
and
not
a
patient
in
serious
pain
that
needed
help,
this
influences
my
belief
that
they
put
off
getting
me
to
a
doctor
as
they
did
not
take
my
sickness
seriously
due
to
mental
health.
after
waiting
5
hours
i
did
not
see
a
doctor
and
went
home
in
pain.
Not
to
mention
I
am
a
non-binary
person
and
through
my
whole
experience
at
the
hospital
i
was
not
asked
for
my
pronouns
once
and
was
misgendered
the
whole
time
which
made
me
extremely
uncomfortable.
It’s
unacceptable
that
in
a
time
like
this
patients
are
not
being
asked
for
their
pronouns
because
it
is
harmful
and
painful
feeling
invisible
and
disrespected.
After
i
left
the
hospital
I
had
a
fever
of
38-40
for
4
days
straight
and
after
blood
tests
have
found
out
i
may
have
an
infection
that
has
spread
through
my
body.
this
could
have
been
identified
at
the
hospital
had
they
seen
me.
the
nurse
here
need
far
more
training
on
how
to
treat
patients
with
kindness
and
respect.
will
definitely
never
be
returning
and
am
truly
upset
about
my
experience.
