Very poor service. I’ve been struggling with update my account details online so finally managed to find the time and get the club in person but was told that since I’d missed the next coming one debit, I would still have to be there in person again I’m time, and charged for $7.5 for overdue, even if I’ve already been there and updated the account details. The staff there is just not very willing to help to solve the issue in a easier way (for you).

Critical review, but constructive.. but in my opinion after traversing almost all AF gyms.. probably the worst anytime gym when compared to other anytime fitness gyms. Doncaster definitely has potential to be better... For example: *Spray and paper towel offered to sanitise equipment still in 2023. Seriously? Please invest in sanitising wipes like the other Anytime fitness gyms.. I don't need to lecture but thus encourages sanitary equipment, covid safe practices etc for your gym and for all users. *Height adjustment caps are missing on a lot of machines here since 2022. Again, seriously? *Machines squeak in pain, like again, seriously is there no maintenance upkeep here? Get it in for service, if not lubricate it or do some simple DIY.. New code locker system was put in place, finally.. Credits to this, however list above needs action for it to be at least rated 4 stars

Very unsupportive staff, old facilities, and unfriendly environment. I have never had such a bad experience before. The only reason I signed was my previous home location. I jumped in to give my review here, and when I read all those reviews given by others, I regretted why I didn’t check them before I signed the contract. I never recommend this place. The only matter for them here is to take your money. The service quality and customer care are not in place.

was hunting for a new gym as we just moved to Doncaster. checked out their website and it said free trial for 7 days. Proceeded to call and ask about it, was advised to attend the gym IN PERSON to discuss. Turned out to be a lemon. You have to sign up and pay $99 sign up fee PLUS $99 key charges and the PLUS the weekly fees. Then you will get a "FREE" 7 days trial. What a load of rubbish. Totally misleading and a waste of time. No female and male bathroom, just 2 unisex single occupant changeroom. Goodluck if you are bursting and the toilets are occupied. They are expensive for they are offering.

Bad service staff, I go with my friend to there and thinking to be a member of this gym but whe i meet this staff at the gym the way she talk to my friend is i can't believe how she can work on customer service is very bad, we ask anything, she just pretend to be upset, not difficult to answer questions, tell us to calculate for ourselves when we have paid in advance for 300$ we ask when we be able to play until when and there is no explanation for us to understand when asking the staff Saying that you have any problems. I think this employee is not suitable for having to work on the service department, the face is stressed, not smiling, and most importantly, does not respect the customers, not paying attention to customers, acting as if we went. Ask to play for free and when we cancel, we will gradually explain to us that we cannot cancel, must complete 12 months before or if not complete, we have to pay the same amount and the same key fee, let us pay 120 $ but does not explain anything just tell me the value of the key the gym is good but just only the stuff make I don't want to become an member I think I'm so lucky to don't tell her I will be an member but I very feel sorry for my friend to have to put up whit this staff

Pretty nice place to work out. Various type of machines make me happy. Any car park? Had to park in office works is bit uncomfortable and only 1p.

Just joined the Doncaster gym. Found the staff super friendly and professional. Gym offers everything you need and location great for locals. I look forward to a long association with these Guys. First up experience was fantastic

Staff are great. Having a wonderful experience at anytime Doncaster. Gym is always clean and equipment is always serviced. Has all the equipment you need for any muscle group!

It's called anytime fitness and they close at 8pm. It's a literal joke. Also not enough space to work out without constantly being in other people's way. Also not enough simple benches for simple free weight exercises. Also some machines missing, like cardio rowing machines, and anything for lower back and torso muscles. With all that, I didn't feel any sense of a personal touch or community that might make a smaller gym worth it. With the much better equipped gym on the other side of the road, it's a wonder this place isn't out of business.

This is an “OK” gym - it is not the best nor the worst, but I would have to say the lift going up to the 2nd level does not work and hasn’t been working for the last 3 - 4 months, their seated row has lost the grips on the foot placement and the pulldown seat has a crack (wear and tear), and has not been fixed, plus the equipment is a bit too limited as it is a small club. The staff are quite rude, inexperienced and the personal trainer is quite materialistic (money-grubbing). The club manager does not like to give any information over the phone such as prices, however other clubs do. The only thing going right for this gym are the views as it is on the 2nd level.

I have contacted Anytime Fitness Doncaster on three separate occasions, I have attempted to assign the membership and I have now reported it to their head office in Sydney and also consumer affairs. Please don't be fooled. Do you homework and go elsewhere! Save yourself the drama. ............................................................................................................ If you are looking for a dirty, smelly, unhygienic gym with old equipment that is often not working then Anytime Fitness Doncaster is the place for you. If you try to cancel your membership you are forced to pay 50% of your annual fee for the pleasure of them not fulfilling their obligations. They promise free body scans and assistance with exercise programs before you join and then dodge. If you try to assign your membership they make it impossible to do so. And their head office is slow to act. nor respond. Please do your homework and don't get caught out with this horrible place.

If I only knew how bad this gym is… I would never sign up. They charge me when it’s lockdown, the toilet and showers are always filthy as if no one actually cleans them! They take forever to respond to emails. All they good at is charging you weekly. So regretting choosing anytime fitness

Not the best gym I've been to. Very small. A bit like a 3 bedroom unit.

Friendly staffs and good atmosphere however the weights and plates are often (most times) not placed back and left unattended.

Been going to the gym quite often. Recommends to avoid peak hours if possible otherwise it may be hard to get onto your favourite equipment. The gym is generally clean and tidy. Has a variety of equipment to choose from.

Would not recommend, gym is small, toilet not very clean. Cable machines tend to be broken a lot when I’m there. They’ve charged me a late payment fee twice for paying a day late. Cancellation was a pain.

Total rip off. All about making the dollar and no customer service to save themselves. Go to another branch, they have no sympathy for members needing to cancel just read all the other reviews not to mention the state of the gym. SAVE YOUR MONEY and sanity dealing with them

I use to go to anytime fitness Doncaster for almost 5 years and has a break because of relocation , but the worse decision was to join Doncaster again . I signed up , only went 2 times ,the heater was not working , there was no sanitizers. The bathroom was always dirty and not to mention the lack of equipments . I had medical reasons not to attend gym , meanwhile I was paying more than I was told during the sign up . Paid almost 5 months without using their gym . Due to not getting clearance from my doctor I had to let them know I am cancelling the membership , despite medicine reasons and providing a medical letter they were still not letting me go and charging me for ?? Basically this management is fraud , trying to rip people off , I had cancel my credit cards and change all my details due to these frauds still trying to taking money without my CONSENT . My boyfriend who was a member for 3 years is leaving them due to how these frauds treating people when they are SICK and have medical reasons to leave It’s not about paying 30 or 60 dollars to close the matter , it’s about how these people wants to rip people off and won’t let them go , so beware joining them , they won’t let you go that quick Very very disappointing

This has to be one of the worst Anytime fitness clubs. The door always does not work so if you plan to come in early there's issues it scans but doesn't open. The gym equipment is severely out dated and poorly maintained. Will definitely be contacting customer service as it is pathetic and not up to standard.

small gym with very outdated equipment and only 3 cables. Cable attachments very used and gross. Others that go there very rude. You’re going to be waiting 20 mins just to do a tricep pushdown here. However dumbbell and barbell area is optimal.

AC and ventilation not working properl for 2 days in a row with outside temp at 25. The gym is smelly and very warm. Staff not friendly and don’t properly greet customers And most of the time on their phones

Thrilled with my experience at the gym so far! Clean facilities, friendly people, and a respectful atmosphere. The only thing giving me pause is the choice of TV content, especially during early morning workouts. I'd love to understand the philosophy behind this decision. While I appreciate staying informed, the barrage of negative news doesn't align with the positive gym environment. Perhaps a switch to more uplifting content would enhance the overall experience. Not a very good gym, anytime fitness is usually great but the space is small and equipment is very limited, doesnt help the place is always quite busy. Equipment is old and just all round disappointing, will have to check other AF around the area

Just wanted to share my experience with anytime doncaster. The vibe is great, the amount of windows and sunshine is ideal. Bathrooms are always clean. The staff have always been so friendly with me especially Bec. I have come back to anytime twice and Bec remembered me very well. Very happy with my time at anytime.

Whenever I attended this location it was well maintained, clean, and had a good atmosphere for working out. They manage to fit a good amount of equipment into the space, and the staff have always been very friendly in any interactions I had with them.

I love coming to doncaster anytime fitness. The staff are so nice and friendly. Especially Beck she always has a great attitude and makes everyone feel happy and motivated while being at the gym

The gym has all the equipments which is a good thing however it is overly crowded already yet they keep adding more members endlessly, as a result this gym gets very busy during peak hours which nearly make it impossible to carry out your exercises as the machines are always occupied and will have to wait forever to use them.

Sufficient equipment for a full range of training, like sprint, jump, power, strength and conditioning. Other than peak hours, I get to finish a workout efficiently with range of equipment. Friendly staff, sometimes offer exercise tips, good chat and free gifts.

Given the fact this gym has been linked to a previous outbreak of Corona virus earlier this year. It is disgusting to observe that not even staff wear masks properly… if they are even on site.

Old equipment, the fans are not working properly, the smallest Anytime fitness I’ve ever been to, they try to keep the equipments together with straps, there is a Fitnesses First across the road, if you’re not locked in your contract

I recently signed up to Anytime Fitness Doncaster and it has been the worst experience of my life. I recently got injured and my doctor advised me that I can no longer exercise. I contacted the gym to cancel my membership and they refused to do so, instead, they insisted on continuing to take money out of my account. It's absolutely ridiculous and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

Gym stuff is super nice. One high body-fat incel attempted to report me to the staff for deadlifting (i was not slamming the weights nor was i making any unnecessary noise.) One staff came over and whispered to me "I'm gonna pretend to tell u off bc he's watching, but ur doing nothing wrong." W staff members Great selection of equipment, (most) people that go here are super supportive and nice. Only complaint is that that some machines need servicing and they probably should get some sanitary wipes instead of the paper towel and spray.
