Very big gym with lots of weights and equipment. $5 casual visits is a pretty good price for this gym

A Very Down to Earth Gym managed by very lovely staff & the members are really nice too. Honestly thanks to Guys like Tony Doherty and Scott Goble this place has helped me turn my life around, after escaping a Toxic Environment in a Previous Gym I attended. I may have Grass is Greener syndrome, but currently being a Member of Doherty’s Gym I can assure you the grass is Just as Green as I saw it from the Perspective of being a Member of another Gym- Has NOT changed its shade of green Would HIGHLY Recommend 🤩

Went for the 1 day trial, customer service was a bit off, lots of staring from other gym-goers. Weird vibe basically. Not as welcoming as I thought but good selection of equipment and space

Great Gym. Great friendly environment. No lock in contracts and reasonably priced. Better than those franchises. You see a lot of serious body builders and that is motivating. All kinds of people workout there of varying age groups. Highly recommended.

The name lives up to its reputation!! one of the beat gyms I’ve been to. Everything from cable machines , free weights to endless cardio machines and a boxing room with a ring. Affordable and great people

DON'T FALL FOR THE TRAP "NO LOCK IN". I USED TO TRAIN IN THIS GYM LAST YEAR. I HAD TO SUDDENLY GO OVERSEAS DUE TO MEDICAL EMERGENCY. TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP I CALLED THEY GIVE ME ANOTHER NUMBER TO CALL TO CANCEL AS THIRD PARTY CANCELLATION. THEN THEY TOLD ME YOU NEED TO PAY FOR 30 DAYS. I DIDN'T GO BUT I PAID FOR 30 DAYS. THEY CLAIM THEY DON'T HAVE ANY LOCK IN CONTRACT AND THEN I HAD TO PAY FOR 30 DAYS. LAST WEEK I CAME BACK N WENT THIERE TO INFORM, FIRST THEY WERE NOT EVEN LISTENING AND KEEP COMING WITH SAME THING THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANY LOCK IN. I REQUESTED THEY GUY AT FRONT TO FORWARD MY COMPLAINT TO THE OWNER HE TOOK MY NAME AND NUMBER BUT IT'S BEEN A WEEK, NO CALLS OR ANY RESPONSE. STOP FOOLING AND GIVING WRONG INFORMATION.

Come done to Melbourne for a holiday and visited the famous Doherty’s gym. Was not disappointed. It has a hardcore and old school vibe about it all. Also met Tony himself and although he would have been extremely busy with a show he was organising and saving last minute, took the time to have a quick chat when introduced to us. What a top bloke with a top gym. Would recommend to all who travel through melb!

I've been searching for a gym which caters to folk who aren't sure if slogging away at cardio everyday is for them or not, so i jumped at their $10 casual sessions. Previous places have stung me with crazy fees which has ruined it for me in the past. So after trialing for a couple weeks I actually signed up and go most days. i don't know why. Maybe the atmosphere, the hot dudes to look at? i don't know but i'm loving it and haven't stuck to a gym before this

Finally my search for the perfect gym in Melbourne has ended! Open 24 hours, decent range of equipment and easy to get to location. Rarely have to sit around waiting for equipment to be free, especially outside peak hours which is a win.

The best gym in Melbourne, Doherty's have the most wonderful staff who are just so friendly and helpful and it has a real "family" atmosphere. Doherty's is also very clean and membership is great value for money too

Really friendly & helpful staff make this a great gym to work out in, for all levels of weight training or cardio capabilities. Really good vibe set by the staff so everyone there is really polite but dedicated from experienced lifters to beginners.

Sadly for wheelchair users and wheelchair bodybuilders (aspiring or established) this is a gym to skip. Not only is the main entrance not wheelchair accessible but attempts to contact the business about accessibility have come up with ignored responses.

I got a gym membership 3 weeks ago and for a cheap price and went there everyday and I love it so much. You got the exercise in one group each like arms, chest or legs etc. This is the type of gym I would go to and I’ll recommend everybody should try it out. Well done staff ????

Don't forget to bring a towel!! There are so many buff people here that you'll either be overly motivated, or afraid to flex your flabby arms. Everyone's super friendly accommodating and the staff are chill. It has all the facilities you need, plus personal trainers on site. Not a lot of group classes but you'll love Doherty's if you come knowing what you want to achieve. The membership options are honestly the most flexible I've seen. Gains mate. Nothing but Gains

Everyone happy and friendly at 9am Great to see how people live early morning before work. My friend and I had an OAT MILK Coffee , it was very nice... Unfortunately i didn't train there today, but they have lots of equipment there
