I left the gym after training here for just over a year, and I was overcharged $100. Took me a full month to get in contact with someone, they completely admitted fault and said that a different manager would get in contact.. they never did. Never refunded the money they said they took incorrectly and I have not been able to get in contact since. They are very friendly until you leave, where they quite literally rob you and won't return calls or emails. In my 13 years of working out I have never experienced such a cold and unbelievable manner from management at this gym. I enjoyed training here but if you made a payment one day late they charged you an extra week for the month. Two days, two weeks.. definitely a sneaky, deplorable club Avoid at all costs, go somewhere with clear guidelines and good local style communication where people actually respect you and appreciate your business.

Tucked away, off James Street behind Jetts, on the upper level. Great facilities with excellent equipment (Hammer Strength) plus every attachment and bar imaginable. Not too busy, so you can workout without waiting for any machines. Plenty of free parking outside the gym.

Have been at this gym for 6 years now and I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. Clean spaces, top quality exercise equipment and a group of staff members who are keen to see everyone reach their fitness goals and who are kind and motivating. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone wanting to join a gym or are looking to move from elsewhere!

Not sure where the people giving 1 star ratings are going?? I’ve been a member since April and I have nothing but great things to say about this gym. Even after trying out high end gyms, Equilibrium have fantastic, knowledgeable staff that remember your name, classes that I’ve had great results from after having kids and at a very reasonable price. Best of all they look after their members. I recommend anyone looking for a place with a comfortable atmosphere with classes that give you results to check out Equilibrium.

The classes are terrific, was so over paying $60 a week for F45. Having the gym as well as classes is an added bonus. The staff are friendly and the gym is clean. I always feel safe training here and the trainers are always happy to help!

10/10 gym. Has all the equipment you need to put serious amounts of mass on. Has a variety of equipment that can assist in people achieving their own personal goals. The staff is also very welcoming.

Very small gym in a residential apartment, this is not the place for the gym, definitely wouldn't recommend it. You can get way better value and respect for your money and yourself by choosing another local gym around the area.

I absolutely love the group classes here! I feel really comfortable and there’s definitely no awkward vibes or judgement at this facility. Everyone is so friendly and nice! I’m relatively new to weight training so I’ve also just started PT sessions at the EQ gym. The gym looks tidy and well-kept. I’d describe it as a boutique style gym - not too big and intimidating.

Phenomenal local gym with new and great quality equipment. Always very clean and everyone respects the rules by putting their weights away after use. The owner is a personal trainer and is not afraid of giving members great information and advice. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to workout in a save environment without the possibility of being judged.
