Fantastic
place
to
visit
for
some
fresh
air
and
outdoors
fun.
Swimming
and
sailing,
paddleboarding
etc
are
allowed
in
designated
areas.
A
small
jetty
for
disabled
sailors
and
a
short
distance
away
is
a
small
beach
for
paddling
and
swimming
in
the
lake.
Lots
of
grassed
areas
for
running
around,
ball
games
etc.
Heaps
of
free
parking
in
several
bitumen
parking
areas,
lots
of
picnic
tables,
frequently
with
pretty
views,
some
right
down
by
the
water
are
sprinkled
throughout
the
park,
located
under
a
forest
of
shady
trees.
Free
BBQs
are
also
located
close
to
many
of
the
picnic
areas.
Heaps
of
native
flowering
plants
in
season,
Birdlife
etc.
There
a
lot
of
gently
graded,
shady
walking
trails
with
views
of
the
lake
and
surrounding
bush,
most
suitable
for
prams
and
wheelchairs.
This
is
a
lake
set
in
natural
bush
surrounds
and
the
water
and
nearby
areas
are
unfenced,
so
beware
of
children
wandering
and
perhaps
falling
into
the
water.
This
lake
park
is
EXTREMELY
popular
and
on
warm
days,
school
holidays,
weekends
etc,
parking
is
frequently
full
and
all
tables,
BBQs
etc
will
be
occupied
and
entry
can
be
difficult.
