Great park! Awesome linkage to the beach and open space. Used the tennis courts which were good, time for a renewal but are still in okay condition.

Participated in a corporate triathlon that happened here. Big park, lots of greenery to go around. Close to the beach. Can get quite hard to find a parking on public and school holidays.

A great park with amazing views. Located right on the water, from the park you can see the city buildings, West Gate Bridge, Spirit of Tasmania and the natural beauty of Port Phillip. The park has a great playground with some water activities. Also, part of the seated area is shaded with cloth. However one of the playground equipment items seemed broken.

As i ride into the CBD from Mordialloc and back, this is a favourite spot to stop for a few minutes to catch my breath and get a drink. I love watching kite sailers abive us.

For picnics, kids playgrounds, outdoor calisthenics gym, dog walking and dedicated training area to a skydiving landing zone, Ellwood has it all. Separate walking and cycling paths lots of sandy foreshore for sunbathing and grassy zones for those who don't do sand. Great views of the city and bay abound. Get amongst it

First time at this playground and thought it was decent for 4+ kids. A lot of the ship play equipment has rope ladder or other climbing access which isn't really suitable for toddlers. The sand pit and trampolines are really good for the younger kids and if it's warm I'd recommend bringing bathers as there is some water features they can all play with. Overall a good park with a lot of grass space nearby. Only complaint really was that the parking in the area is ticketed, but I guess that's because it has access to the beach and would get really busy during peak times.

Lots of people swimming, walking dogs, walking themselves, people exercising and lots of couples with young children playing and picnics.

I adore this beach and am so happy I live close to it. It's fabulous for running along and great for walking the dogs. Whilst it's popular it's not too crowded (well maybe a little bit on a warm day). It gives a fabulous view of the city at the point, and is a view I can never tire from! It's also a great location to watch the NYE fireworks from....for those with little ones it's a family friendly location.

The market here last weekend was great. Heaps of interesting stuff to check out, great people, good vibes, nice coffee, and also pet-friendly meaning yes, you can bring your dog. If that in itself doesn't sell it to you then perhaps go there for the tie dye shirts (you can't miss them), the live music, the vegan ice cream, or the gypsy of love nearby in small van with beaded entrance. Friendly, open place and people from all walks of life. I would surely go back again. ๐Ÿ™‚

Photos of the beach just infront of the park. Good setup and nice beach. Public showers at the beach entrance. Some gym equipment to use as well, nice touch.

I think this is a great playground for hot days, as it is well covered by awnings and trees and gets a nice breeze from the sea. It's got a slight bit of degradation on some of the wood and a missing swing, but it's still a favourite.

Cute little park just behind Elwood Bathers, easy access to the beach and parking. Oct 21-May 22 it's home to a local artisan market every third Sunday. Also near the yearly triathlon series January to March on Sundays, which may effect traffic. Plenty of rubbish bins and tables. Kids playground and drinking fountain (though this is currently broken).

Perfect! Friendly towards puppies. Friendly locals and visitors. Maybe not too much in the way of conveniences like buying the toddler a drink etc but the area makes up for it.

Good facilities for a picnic. However an appalling lack of disable parking... Lack of car parking and an oversupply of boat trailer Parking proved to be extremely problematic... A great revenue get for council with parking officers fining cars for parking in trailer parking zones.. However the parking officers were happy to park there, even after telling others they couldn't park in trailer zone due to safety risk. ... We were there all day and watched only 50% of trailer parks being used at any given time... Meanwhile no parking for everyone else
