Albert Park is a beautiful park located in Melbourne, Australia. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists, and it hosts many events throughout the year, including the Australian Grand Prix. I had an amazing experience during your visit to the F1 Race this year. The park is known for its size, scenic beauty, and the exciting events that take place there. The location of Albert Park is convenient for visitors, as it is easily accessible by public transportation and there is ample parking available. The park features well-manicured lawns, beautiful gardens, and a large lake. There are many walking and cycling paths throughout the park, making it a great place for outdoor activities. It seems that Albert Park is a must-visit destination for anyone in Melbourne. Whether you are looking to enjoy a peaceful walk in nature or attend an exciting event, this park has something for everyone.

This has to be one of my favourite parks in Melbourne!!! There are a lot of good facilities for sports and exercise. Also this place has very good nature. Everything is well maintained. Not to say this is the race track from Melbourne's F1 Grand Prix. I always love to come here for a round the lake walk or a drive on a public holiday....highly recommended....

A good view of city skyline. A sports complex for golf, cricket, football, F1 race track, cycling. A tram railway track looks amazing which passes from this park. A fresh water lake and a running track around the lake for runners. A good place to relax as well.

This is one of my favourite recreational places in Melbourne. It offers a 5km walk around the man made lake with stunning city views from the top part of the park and lake. There are two large function facilities on the perimeter which cater for weddings and other functions. There is a public BBQ area and several public toilets which are closed after dusk.

It doesn’t matter if there is in the morning in my way to work riding my bike or at night with my tea for a nice long walk, this place is just stunning. The views of the city from the other side of the lake are just breathtaking. I love this place every day more and more. It is always full of people exercising around, jogging, running, ridding or walking. You should try one morning and then one evening to see how magical is.

This is a good place for a walk when in Melbourne. I enjoyed a walk around the lake. Albert Park is just 3km away from CBD. People have loved coming to Albert Park lake to see the black swans and look at the skyline of the city. A number of eateries and playgrounds make it a great family outing close to CBD. Great Place to have picnic. Restrooms are well maintained. Tram depot is very nearby.

Went for the 2017 Australian Grand Prix and had an absolutely fantastic time. I've been to many GPs and while this isn't one of the cheapest it does have the most things going on (there's even track activity on the Thursday). You can get up close to the support garages and if you book early enough you'll get access to the F1 pit walk. They are the only track to open up the paddock entry to the public so if you get there early enough you can get selfies and autographs from your favourite (and unfavourite???) drivers.

Very nice place for a calm evening or weekend with family, friends or partner. Wonderful place to see Melbourne's sky line. A paradise for photographers at dawn. Close to many tramstops. If you want to learn rowing, they have few rowing schools. Awesome track of around 5.5 km for morning evening walk or run.

This pristine park and lake located just 10 mins drive away from the CBD is one of the best places to go for a jog or for cycling. Amazing view of the city and good spot for watching sunset and/or sunrise if you’re an early riser. Ample parking available around the park (mostly paid parking).

Wonderful part of Melbourne to visit. Walk the lake and enjoy the scenery. Close to South Melbourne market and shops with sporting facilities close by there is always something to see and do. Or just enjoy the picnic facilites and relax in the sun. Albert Park Lake is also the home of the Melbourne Grand Prix held in March of each your. A must place to visit when in Melbourne

A very large lake with a surrounding trail of about 5 km. There are many ducks, swans, seagulls and other birds. They feed, swim, fly and sunbathe in and around the water. Watch the wildlife and the mirror of the water. Forget about the worries of the city life. Listen to the sounds of the animals, water and the winds. Apply sunscreen because of the hot sun. You can jog or walk your dogs. Cycling is not easy because of the sand and narrow path which is close to the lake. Don’t feed the animals.

A beautiful place to walk and enjoy the views of the city skyline and nature. The lake is very big and takes a while to get around. Lots of places to sit and rest and plenty of toilets too. Great place to bring dogs but mostly they have to stay on the lead.

Huge park with a man made shallow lake in the middle usable for small boat sailing, kayak and canoe. Plenty of wildlife on the central island. The park is rambling and result accessible from public transport with plenty of parking too. There are loads of trees and several picnic, bbq and play areas.

OMG, best place ever for run in the city. I normally walk to there from the CBD and run 1 lap. This park is amazing, lots ducks, birds and amazing view of the city. If you love run, there is the best place in Melbourne. If you are tourist, also needs to check out. Love it!

Beautiful, peaceful park with views of the Melbourne CBD skyline. I was running, other people were walking and biking. Very safe, easy, nicely maintained grounds. The body of water was quite pretty to look at. It was a mile from the hotel I was staying up in Prahan. Enjoy!

The lungs of Inner Melbourne, stretching from South Melbourne to St Kilda. Good views of the city skyline from the lakeside. There is an enjoyable Golf Course, many playing ovals, Rowing Clubs on the lakes, plus a couple of spectator arenas. Contains the Skimming Centre as well. The lake at the heart of the park is home to many waterbirds, including the aggressive black swans. Marred from February to April by the money drain of the Australian Grand Prix, which closes of large parts of the Park, and is a useless inconvenience.

My favourite park in the area.. love it especially during sunset.. I am thinking of the middle island in the lake, what about having a coffee shop over there ?.. I bet it will be something nice.

A deservedly popular spot to exercise or vegetate (whichever you preference may be) with views of the city skyline to die for. Well served by trams (take the 96 along Canterbury Road or one of the half dozen routes down St Kilda Road).
