Relaxing park and great place to picnic or have a bite to eat. There are some tables and chairs and a pavilion. Great views of the city and Brighton Beach. The only bad thing is the public toilets are a long way away but otherwise 5 stars.

Extensive reserve along the coast at Brighton Beach. Acting as a buffer between the road and the beach itself, it provides space for parking, picnics and has public toilets. Views over Port Phillip Bay are awesome and a great spot to watch the sunset. There are limited safe places to cross Beach Rd / Esplanade, your best bet is to use the lights at the South Rd intersection near Brighton Beach station.

Great area with wonderful views. Parking nearby can be a bit pricy so it's generally a good idea to park at the train station and walk over. The park is well maintained and the beachside has good views of both the Melbourne skyline and all the ships in the bay. Good spot for a picnic or relaxing walk.

The foreshore reserve is so fortunate to be facing the setting sun. Perfect for an afternoon by the bay.

This was one of the beach I use to do night swimming causally. Unfortunately, the sea water was not as refresh as many years ago. But I still enjoy to look at the ocean there to empty my thoughts. It is indeed one of the best foreshore for watch sunset. I recommend this place that you must go to amount all the cost along Melbourne bay.

Beautiful place to swim or simply sitting by soaking feet in water. Excellent place for BBQ.A lot of shops to explore along the beach. Enjoy sunset at this point around 8:30 PM in summer. Playing volleyball with friends is another pleasure. Highly recommend.

We had picnic on the cliff edge and it was so lovely. The views are gorgeous and you can see the city skyline from there in the distance. It can get pretty windy and cold so take a jacket. It seems like a great spot for wind surfing as there were plenty of people doing that. There's lots of parking and a few benches for seating.

Prime example of Australia’s amazing beaches, parking available but cost involved, local laws checking regularly. Often an ice cream truck on site. Short walk north of here leads to the Bathing boxes for those wishing to see them and snap a photo. Situated with the war memorial and lookout point attached. Worth the visit.

Went to show my Sydney friends the unique and popular Brighton Bathing Boxes and it was a beautiful day to remember. There’s construction going on so parking is limited but still accessible.

For a Melbourne beach it was quite nice, it was spacious and what was calm. But nothing contends with rural Vic beaches.

Brighton Beach foreshore This is the best spot for tourists to come and see the Bay and experience the beach. Catch the train from the City and get off at Brighton Beach. There are some shops close by to get some things and public toilets There is a beautiful park across the road from the station where you can have a picnic . The foreshore walk goes from Port Melbourne all the way to Mordiallic 20 kl at least, this is good for bike riding as well.

A definite must visit by the beach. There are plenty of great views - sunsets on clear days are just amazing! The city and bathing boxes make a good backdrop. There are a good number of tables, benches and grassy areas to sit down, enjoy the view and perhaps a snack. There is enough parking too. Tip: Parking is free before 8AM and after 8PM.
