It's
a
great
walk,
especially
when
the
water
is
clean.
A
few
things
let
it
down,
but
that's
the
people
not
the
place.
Take
your
poo
bags
and
your
coffee
cups
home.
The
river
meanders
up
to
Warrandyte
and
then
around
Pound
Bend.
It's
a
lovely
walk,
usually
it's
pretty
quiet.
Warrandyte
is
underrated.
People
tend
to
flock
to
beaches
on
a
good
day,
so
if
the
weather
is
good,
head
to
a
park
or
the
hills.
Lots
of
nature.
Not
seen
any
koalas
around
the
bend
yet,
but
you
guaranteed
to
see
at
least
a
few
things
on
a
walk.
I
can't
get
enough
if
this
place
and
if
I'm
not
going
far,
then
a
coffee
at
Arthur's
Creek
and
a
walk
around
the
bend
is
always
on
the
cards.
Warrandyte
has
a
fair
bit
of
history,
with
interesting
geological
features
and
bushland.
The
town
is
nice,
but
the
star
of
the
show
is
the
beautiful
river
and
its
surroundings.
People
are
always
curious
about
snakes.
I've
walked
a
few
hundred
km
around
Warrandyte
and
I've
not
seen
any
yet.
There's
some
massive
kangaroos,
however.
