This is a beautiful and well maintained gardens and being close to St Kilda Pier and by the sea, is in a picture perfect location and a perfect place for picnics, a children's play area, and a venue for weddings and wedding photography, open-air festivals including creative arts and music festivals, and other community events. The weekend gentle pony rides are popular with families. The facilities at the gardens are excellent and include, restrooms with disabled toilets and baby change, a large children's playground set into a large sand pit and with shade sails and bright contemporary play equipment, a large rotunda/gazebo which is ideal and often used for intimate weddings and wedding photography, BBQโ€™s, foreshore cafe kiosks nearby, picnic tables, bench seats, drinking fountain, beautiful walking paths lined with magnificent large Canary Island palm trees, perimeter paths for walking or jogging, large areas of lush green lawns and mature shade trees, fun possums and birds to look at, and lots of great foreshore views, a picture perfect spot for sunset viewings. The main disappointment here is the condition and cleanliness of the toilets. The public toilets need more regular maintenance.

There today, 10.9.23 for charity walk/run. Of course have been there before, over the years, but first time taking photos! Lots of lovely palm trees and open space. Popular with families, walkers (with and without dogs), tourists, and locals. Part of the fabric of St. Kilda.

A large park with a lot of grass, but not too much else here, it's the less busy area of the beach if you want to stay around this end.

Lovely well groomed gardens, though with not a lot of trees and shade.

Great place to chill when visiting St Kilda. It is usually pretty quiet there if no event is happening. Went there for the 2XU Wellness Run and it was awesome. So many people participated and had a great time there. It was pretty hot (27 degrees) for running. Congrats to all runners, you guys are awesome ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Beautiful beach side park complete with palm trees and good vibes. Honestly, the St Kilda area reminds me of California in all the best ways when the weather is nice, without the douche factor. Sunsets are gorgeous, and there are a variety of good spots to check out for eats and drinks.

Nice area, but minimal parking makes going to events there very difficult.

Gatani Garden, adjacent to St Kilda Beach. Lush greenery, charming palm trees, and well-designed walkways create a picturesque setting. Whether you prefer a brisk walk or simply relaxing on the benches, it offers the perfect blend of nature and tranquility. A must-visit for those seeking a peaceful escape! ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿƒ #GataniGarden

Lovely park area with right on the beach in St Kilda. There are tranquil garden areas to sit in peacefully along with a small children's playground. Plenty of space which is suitable for family picnics. From time to time events are also hosted here. Definitely worth a visit especially on a warm sunny day!

Thereโ€™s not a lot in ways of amenities, but it does have a little playground, a gazebo, and a scary public toilet. The gazebo itself is so beautiful I want to get married in it lol! Theres a lot of beautiful tall trees and lots of benches. Location is great right between the tram stop and the pier! Perfect if you need a break before headed home.

It's a cool quiet place in the midst of St kilda's hussle and bustle. I enjoyed strolling there with my baby especially on warm days. The play area is alright, but if it's hot and sunny, the swings and slides can be really dangerous as the play area is not well sheltered and the sand can be really hot. There used to be a lot of bugs too in the green grass as well, which was very annoying. The toilets can be really dirty sometimes. All in all it is a nice place to walk off the stress if you live in the area. If you are a tourist, passing by won't hurt as it is a few steps away from St Kilda beach and pier. Sunsets there are magical.

It's a really nice place on a warm summers evening. I've been so many events here and it's really easy to get to on the tram. The gardens themselves are pretty basic, but they aren't far from the penguin pier etc. Usually, I'll grab a bite eat and take it to the gardens. It's usually really clean too.

Great spot, where grass meets bay and sunset. Unfortunately the toilets NEED to be improved and it would be an amazing upgrade to have more barbecues, especially as parking is paid in this area..
