Sandringham Band Rotunda

Tourist attraction Historical landmark

👍👍 A unique landmark on the foreshore area of Sandringham, not far from the centre. Views from the platform are pleasant, but unfortunately there was lots of rubbish up there when we visited. Benches, water fountains and beach access nearby.

Nice spot to visit during sunny day. The building is built in memory of soldiers.

Well-preserved rotunda dating back nearly 100 years. Constructed in 1926 as a gift from local shopkeepers to the people of Sandringham. Conveniently located near the train station, right next to the beach with filtered views up and down the coast.

Toilet was completely broken, had to use the toilet at the pub across the road. Bbqs were not heating up. Non of the picnic tables are under the shade. Carpark extremely expensive, can't pay per hours as it's mentioned on the board

I'm not really sure why the red bluffs are the selected picture for this place. It's just a bandstand, and when I was there it seemed like it hadn't hosted any bands in a while. The saving grace of this place was that it provides some shade and there is a water fountain here.
