Pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and with the bonus ocean view in the background. Very open floor space with enough room to not be interrupted by other tables conversations. Great bar service here also. Served by Bella. Warm & attentive providing service that made us feel important as patrons. You don't get that everywhere. Definitely worth a visit when your are down in Mordialloc by the bay and make sure you have a cocktail ladies!!.

We had an amazing 25th Wedding Anniversary and renewal of our vows at SunnyBoy Beach Club. The staff were amazing, especially Lucca who was our dedicated waitress in the Function Room. From the first contact to leaving the venue on Saturday night, everything was easy. I highly recommend them and look forward to many more functions at this venue. Oh, and it's on the beach so double bonus.

Fantastic views of the beach. Awesome customer service on the day. Staff where friendly, very helpful and accommodating. All our meals where very delicious and a lovely grazing player complimentary for my birthday.

Nic our waiter gave excellent service.The Seafood Linguine was fresh,beautiful flavour and reminded us of Italy.The fish of the day was Barramundi which was cooked perfectly!A gorgeous sunset as well !

We did the bottomless brunch and it was fantastic. The food was ample and very tasty. The cocktails were really nice and the staff were excellent. Highly recommend for a great value group lunch.

Fantastic service. We booked a table for six adults and six babies for lunch and the staff were incredibly accommodating. They made space for prams and high chairs, made us feel welcomed and never pressured us to order more or leave. We will be back again and recommend to others.

Great place, warm and inviting, our waitress was Maddy what a lovely women she made sure that we were looked after and is very good at her job. The food was so good recommend it highly, great tasting too, the food came out so fast i mean there was only 4 of us in the place but it did start to get full soon after. We arrived there about 12miday, it would be best if you booked then you can ask for a table near the window, looking onto the water, it was my birthday yesterday and they gave me a lovely surprise of a little birthday cake, and didn't charge us. i would recommend this Club to have a quite coffee, lunch or drink, ask for Maddy she will look after you very well.

Great food and service. Amazing view of the water, and plenty of areas outside for the kids to play. We had dinner at 6pm, so it was fairly quiet for a Thursday night.

Came here for lunch. The view is really pretty. Service was very good. I had scallops for an entree and really enjoyed them. I had a roasted cauliflower salad for my main and it was really filling and nice flavours. My friend had the fish and chips and liked their meal. I'm looking forward to coming back to try the lamb shoulder. I will return and I would recommend

Had a wonderful lunch on Wednesday to celebrate a birthday - although having lived in the area since 1994, I’ve not been to this restaurant in 15 years. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sunny Boy Beach Club in Mordialloc, and it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I stepped in, the stunning view of the bay set the tone for a remarkable evening. The set menu was an absolute delight. Each dish was a testament to the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The calamari was a highlight for me - so fresh, it was like tasting the ocean, and cooked to tender perfection. The burger, oh the burger! It was a masterpiece of juiciness and flavor, jam-packed with all the right ingredients that left me savouring every bite. And the pork belly – it was a flavor bomb, rich and perfectly cooked, each bite better than the last. But what really made my experience special was the service. The staff at Sunny Boy Beach Club were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. The atmosphere was vibrant yet comfortable, adding to the overall enjoyment of my meal. I left Sunny Boy Beach Club feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. This place isn’t just about great food; it’s about creating memorable experiences, and they certainly have nailed it!

Had dinner here the atmosphere is nice very loud though. The small plates were good but expensive especially the pumpkin with goats curd and salsa $15 for one piece of pumpkin. I had the crispy skin chicken which wasn’t crispy at all and two others that were seated at my table were not so impressed with main meals. The lamb rump is just like a hunk of meat and the steak was fatty and very spicy. The only thumbs up was a beef burger which you can virtually get anywhere. Service was very good and prompt.

Food was good. Kids ate the kids meals. Parents shared $50 mussels @ 1kg. Were cooked properly, sauce was mild chilli. $10 Aperol Spritz was a bonus too. 5 star for attentive service staff. 4 star for food bordering on 5, would have got the 5th star if meals came out together. 4 stars for atmosphere - probably hard to keep the blow flies out due to open doors. Well worth a try. Prime location overseeing beach & pier. Would book as not to disappoint.

Booking was very tricky, the online portal for the restaurant didn’t work and no one picked up the calls. I didn’t have much expectation going in due to that welcome however the service once at the restaurant was amazing. The food I felt was quite overpriced but that’s probably a lot to do with location. The scallops with the pea dip was delicious, I would go back just to eat that starter. The pork belly starter was also scrumptious. We had the seafood linguini and market fish of the day which was barramundi. Both mains were not bad. The Pana cotta was refreshing and delightful.

Our first time here and we had a great time, food was delicious , staff were very attentive and kind! It was my mams birthday and a member of staff brought out a complimentary dessert with candles . It was lovely all while watching the sunset! Definitely go back and order the grazing platter again !

Had a really lovely time on Mothers Day. Everything utterly delicious, a perfect espresso martini and a window seat looking out to the sea. So lucky to have this Mordialloc gem. (And some very handsome waiters to boot!)

Staff were very friendly and great. Couldn’t fault them. Atmosphere also very good. Had a good vibe about the place. Food was disappointing ring for the price point for both of us. I think my friend had the super salad with calamari. It looked like something I would knock up at home. And I had fish and chips. Which was ok. But presentation was underwhelming for both our dishes. I noted other people had nice looking dishes. I would go again and try another dish.

Really a nice place to go and hangout with friends. Bit pricey still worth it. Food's really good, drinks menu is pretty impressive. I've been there with our workmates. We did really enjoyed well.

Outstanding food and service. Our waitress Sarah was amazing, she didn’t miss a beat. Memorised all our orders, attentive without being too much and super polite. The food was so incredibly tasty, well done to the chefs! We will be back again!

We had the best meal in ages. The Mt Martha muscles - an experience!! Maddy is an amazing host - helpful, charming and delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. Not too noisy, great atmosphere and perfect food!! We will be back again.

I love this venue and always receive excellent service. The staff are delightful and the location is wonderful. Food is varied and tasty. Parking on street or paid in the carpark is convenient. Good place to take young humans too. Highly recommended.

Potatoes weren’t cooked through, steak was tough and not good quality even though i ordered rare and we never got our order of fries. I understand if you are short staffed ( which were lovely and helpful but run off their feet by the look of it ) then only allow half the restaurant to be booked instead of trying to run a whole restaurant with few staff. Again staff were nice but just too busy. Menu was small and it would have been nice to have more items on it. We wouldn’t go back unfortunately. Food was below average.

We opted for the set menu, 2 course. Started with the beef capaccio and sticky pork ribs. Beef capaccio was awesome, but the ribs was lacking the smokey flavour. Seafood linguine was packed full of flavour and the salmon was just as great. Overall, great atmosphere and excellent service.

I arrived a little early and had a drink at the bar. The bar staff were awesome and chatted to even though they were busy. When my guest arrived I requested our table and we were shown to it promptly. The service was very professional and friendly. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend the expresso martinis.

Sunny Boy is great for amazing Cocktails & delicious food. The service is very attentive. The only downside is the noise It’s extremely noisy ,you can’t have a conversation with your dinner companions. Such a shame as otherwise a great restaurant.

We chose the Christmas in July 3 course set menu which was fabulous. The scallop and pork belly entrees were superb. The yorkshire puddings complementing the lamb roast main were spectacular - light, and packed with flavour. Eton mess style and macadamia brownie desserts were decadent and delicious. Portions were generous and excellent value. Service was friendly and faultless throughout. Would highly recommend a visit to this beach-side gem.

Booked for my mum's birthday, first time at this restaurant. We all loved it! The atmosphere was nice, love that it's on the beach, staff were fantastic, friendly and catered to our every need. Food was nice and prices were good too, we will definitely be coming back here again.

We arrived on time and were told they needed table back in 2 hrs which was fine. However we then received the slow service and were constantly reminded you have this long left despite meals coming out very slowly. We ordered drinks as soon as we arrived that took half an hour. Next set of drinks 20 minutes arriving 20 minutes before leaving We then asked for a dessert menu and ordered dessert which arrived 9 minutes before they said we had to leave. They then proceeded to rush us through our desserts telling us we had to leave 145 regardless if we were finished. The waiter was so apologetic and so nice but kept saying my boss will be so mad if you dont leave on time. Seemed like the boss might be a bit intimadating to their team. They started clearing our dessert plates at 140pm saying our time was almost up Also drink glass sizes inconsisent ordered same drink twice and one serve was loterally twice the size for the same price

We had a wonderful experience at SunnyBoy. We had 5 adults and 4 toddlers (including their high chairs)! The team were amazing and looked after us so well. It's not easy to find somewhere to accommodate a group with little kids and they were fantastic. We will definitely be going back.

Arrived for 2pm lunch booking stated 2 hours maximum. For 8 persons. Service to the table to take first round of drinks was at 2.45pm. So 45 min waiting before any service. Order given and appears not acted on. At 3 15pm re submit order with different waiter. Then meal order done. The meals came quickly. Then just prior to the 2 hr mark multiple waiters asked if we wanted anything else. And how will we pay. I understand it was busy but felt like they wanted to get us out and stopped us enjoying a meal

Attended a Sunday lunch function in one of the private dining areas. The area was well set up. The beach view was pleasant even though the weather was hot and raining. The venue was well air conditioned. The meals were ordered for 20+ people and staff were attentive with all drinks and meals delivered correctly without mishap, including GF options. A big shout out to our waitress, Georgia, who had everything under control. She did a Sterling job. 10/10.

The service here is impeccable. The food is quite good with reasonable value. The ambience is very very noisy. It seemed to be very popular amongst the big groups of a younger demographic. Get a table with a sea view if you can.

Recently came here for an early dinner with the girls post-lockdown. The staff were so fantastic and were the perfect mix of attentive and leaving us to enjoy ourselves. When booking I mentioned that we’d have a baby with us so they put us in such a perfect spot so we’d have space for the pram and also not bother anyone else. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was delicious.

What a pleasant surprise. There is plenty of space and different areas for larger numbers of people. The service was very friendly and the food was great. We enjoyed the fixed menu with choices to fit most tastes. It would be a great venue to have a few drinks and enjoy the sunset.

We went just as lockdown had finished and we were only able to order off a set menu. The starters were amazing, however the veggies that came with the main were a bit undercooked and we were only able to chose from two of the options rather than the four. Drinks were great, service was faultless and you really can’t beat the location.

Food and drinks fantastic. Service not great. Arrived for a 2 hour sitting for a 3 course set menu. First meal arrived promptly, last two meals arrived in the last half hour. 2 minutes after final plate being served we were told we had to leave in 5 minutes. Staff also did not clear tables and did not provide fresh cutlery. However good value for money.

Really accommodating with our 2 month old and pram with bassinet, they set us up at a quiet table with heaps of space for the pram. Food was excellent, especially the Bailey espresso cheesecake. Great views, awesome background music (90s and 2000s rnb dj mix) and a super chilled vibe. Staff are super friendly and highly competent. Also, they have a change table in the toilets which is a godsend for parents! Highly recommend Sunnyboy if you're in the area.

The food was really great however hubby and I were seated right next door to a 40th party.. in the same room.. i wished they had phoned me prior to advised where our seats were if that was ok. .we ended up moving twice - finally right across the other side of the restaurant which was much quieter but by then we wanted to leave- the ambience was already lost and we ate and left straight away. when booking ask to be placed on the other side of the room especially if its a date night- not a night out-

Great location with fantastic view of the sea with a slight obstruction of the trees in front that block the sands on the beach. We had excellent service from Eve, the girl in charge of our table who was very pleasant to talk to and always smiling. She even kept checking on us regularly to see if we wanted to order anything. The seafood we ordered was very good and tasted just perfect to our liking. Ambience was just perfect and all the staff were very attentive. Will definitely visit Sunnyboy Beach Club again. Good work Eve and Keep Smiling.

Very Friendly, helpful staff. Food was great, atmosphere awesome. One negative I have is on a hot day we were placed at the Windows looking out to the beach. It was so hot, with the sun streaming in. Best option is install pull down roller blinds for hot days like it was on 22/1

Great location but really need to book ahead. Menu is a bit simple for such a nice venue. Portions are small and will need accompaniments. My salmon was a little under cooked and was still bloody.... Had to get it re-cooked. Not ideal for any fish. Service was efficient.

Celebrated my birthday here on a Sunday afternoon. The place is lovely, the food is good and the prices are very reasonable. Our kids made a mess and the staff were super nice about it. Extra points for the beautiful views and the playground next door. Would recommend for families with young kids.

It's definitely a place to go with your family and friends. Also a very good place to hold events. Located right by the beach and the building has a nice layout. The food was delicious and were well presented. They also serve a wide variety of wines and spirits. The environment was cozy and the staff were very friendly.

Went to the SunnyBoy Beach Club for lunch with my four year old daughter. Wait staff could not have been more helpful (providing colour books, etc.) and our drinks/meals came out really quickly (even though it was relatively busy) - which was great. Food itself was tasty - I had the risotto and my daughter had the kids fish and chips - and was at a decent price point. Wasn't sure what to expect when I first walked in - but was pleasantly surprised, and will certainly be going back.

Very pleasant outlook on to the bay in quiet cul-de-sac with great local beer and nice food. Had truffle polenta sticks, Fishnchips, wagu burger, 2bros draught. Recommended for arvo lunch snacks or drinkies. Table service too!

Lively atmosphere, very accommodating staff. Highlight of the meal was the pot of mussels, very fresh & visually pleasing, everyone wanted to dig in. Little disappointed in the barramundi & dill croquet small plate as I couldn't taste any barramundi, too much filler which left it dry no matter how much charred pepper aioli was splashed on the plate. Would love to come back & try the vanilla spiced duck breast as I was salivating at the description on menu.

The food and the atmosphere is amazing. The staff a super attentive and absolutely lovely. The only thing I didn’t love were the wooden high bench seats. Although the look is cool and fitting for a beach shack, they are not at all comfortable for shorter people.

Went here for a function, food was average at best- and we were seated out the back. They squeezed in other tables so those poor people had to deal with the noise from us. Food was average, drinks- ok but bartender Jonathan was extremely rude. Sorry but won’t be coming back! Lots of other venues with better prices and atmosphere to enjoy around mordi and bayside!
