    I want to thank Tameka from MAC specifically for her wonderful customer service and help (along with Chloe/Manager) ✨🌟⭐️🌟✨ I had been to every other retailer who stocked Mac at Doncaster about a month ago. Tameka advised me they were also out of stock but she took the time to take my details for home delivery as it was a pain in the butt to get there again. There were some issues with the computer/dispatch but Tameka was kind, clear and followed up every phone call I made to the store. My order did arrive (a month later!) but it was perfect and I cannot fault Tameka for the David Jones processes ;) I have worked in retail and customer service for many years so I have pretty high standards - Tameka and Chloe, you both went above and beyond for a sale that wasn’t mega bucks but you absolutely made my day when I received my order and the note was a sweet touch! Both MAC and DJ’s are lucky to have you. Thanks again 💄

    Service at the cosmetic and skin counters is very hard to find. I recall the days you had smiling ladies ready to assist. Now you have to waste time walking around to get someone's attention. Even when they see you they pretend to be busy and still do not approach you or at least direct you to an assistant who is available. That is one reason. I dislike shopping at the cosmetic, skincare counters and I try to avoid.

    Had really great service today from DJs staff who helped me with an issue with a Dyson product. Despite the Dyson support centre being very unhelpful, DJs provided great customer service and replaced the item.

    Ideally located, David Jones Doncaster offers rhe great variety of brand products in a very spacious, elegant and vibrant Store.. Staff are fiendly and always there to help.

    Went in today and made two separate purchases. Customer service is pretty terrible I must say with their staff trying to put up a fake smile and small talk for the sake of it. I interacted with 5 staff members and not one was warm enough. Will stick to Myer for their amazing customer service

    Unfriendly staffs especially towards children. Kids learn from their surroundings while touching and learning from things around but to feel like something small like a metal salt pepper item might tip and impossible to break, the staff came over and the shopping mood was over. Will not return!

    Love David Jones. It's fresh and has merchandise different to other places. If you are a grandparent be careful in the children's department. You will spend many more hours than anticpated and find way more items than you need. All staff very professional and helpful.

    Overall my recent experiences have consistently been poor and rude customer service especially from the staff at their gift wrapping counter. It’s only a matter of time before DJs Doncaster will close just like Eastland. Back in the 80s & 90s, DJs used to pride itself on excellence in store quality customer service, justifying its high margins on products (that today can easily be bought cheaper online). Unless senior management immediately deal with the mediocre team culture at stores like Doncaster, the DJs brand won’t last in a competitive global retail market.

    Bought a pricey perfume from the Chanel section, used it once, but it barely lasts 10 minutes—suspecting it might be fake or faulty. Unfortunately, due to the opened packaging, a return isn’t allowed. Despite suggesting an on-the-spot test to confirm the product’s issue, the manager, Claudia Giannone, insisted their policy doesn’t permit returns, even if the product is defective. Unfair treatment to the customer.

    Went into store to exchange two dresses for my daughters, I had the receipt and the Manager Carmel would not exchange them because the swing tags had been ripped off and no longer there. So extremely disappointed at this level of customer service!!!

    Today I went to get a suit for my sons formal. A employee by the name of Zizzy from Joe black helped us so much we finished our shopping in 30min. Zizzy was very kind and respectful with lots of patience. She was very nice and kind.

    Thanks to David Jones' five-star service and Clara's five-star service. Our daughter accidentally broke the Christmas Ball. We were waiting for compensation. But the staff immediately asked if my daughter was injured and thanked us tell them so as not to hurt others. Thank you for your warm staff.

    Very organised and easy to find the products we want, good deals after Christmas now. The staff/cashier at kitchenware, Lapponia was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the best customer service experience ever from her. She explained nicely to us and knows about the product. She was patience too while my friend and I were indecisive the brands to choose from (we bought 4 or 5 that day when they are about to close).

    Today I went to DJ’s for a simple pocket square for my son to wear at his formal. I had 3 amazing ladies who, even though it was an inexpensive purchase were amazing. I have shopped at DJ’s for many years and after today, for many years to come. Thank you ladies for your amazing service.

    We love the DJ at Doncaster Westfield. But the service in the cosmetics has gone to the dogs. This Karen (that’s her name) sat there on her phone in the Chanel stall the whole time whilst we were seeking service in the Estée Lauder stall which was right next to her! She refused to help us twice when we approached her. We had to walk around and get someone from another part of the floor to be able to do our purchase! Sorry DJ .. but no fugly Karen should be allowed to get away with this !

    DJ ZIMMERMANN staff were outstanding in their service this week, their product knowledge and work ethic and attentiveness was amazing. They were so welcoming and supportive and went well and truly above and beyond to organise and ensure i had access to the perfect dress and all in time for my event this weekend. Even sent a follow up email! Can't commend them enough for all their efforts.

    The staff at Witchery David jones are fabulous! It was such a welcoming atmosphere and the staff had very good knowledge of the products and assisted me accordingly. I purchased their gorgeous Aviva suede boot with a rib top. I cannot be thankful enough! Thank you ladies I will be coming back very soon again!!!

    Very disappointed. Tried to make a gift card purchase but the assistant made an error so had to void the transaction and start again. Very quick to take my money twice but four days later still waiting for the refunded amount.

    Just came to buy some clothes. First hardly an stagg available to assist. Bought a kids jacket which had a spot on it. Lady said she will get it changed. Kept waiting for ages. The lady who served was so lazy and not interested. Bad service, for the price you pay here and wasted so much of my time. I come to David Jones very few times mostly go to Myer, but now I am sure not to come here again.
