Not much has changed in the last 9 years since I visited this cafe, but they do have flavoured coffee syrups now (even if I has to explain in my order what a coffee syrup is). The outside ordering and seating touch is a good one for catching foot traffic, but the still haven’t changed their coffee sizes or expensive prices. $16 for a small coffee (their largest) and the most expensive egg and bacon roll in Melbourne! Both were quite nice, but you don’t go to a quick takeaway booth to get an expensive and fancier meal

Hadn’t been here in awhile and have forgotten how much we love it here! Pat had the omelette and I had scrambled eggs on toast. Sounds like a normal breakfast order but this blew my mind, definitely something I wouldn’t be able to replicate at home. On top of that, portion sizes were good and it was priced well too! One of the best almond lattes I’ve had in awhile as well. Great chill atmosphere, thanks guys for doing an awesome job ☺️

What a fantastic little cafe! Ventured in this morning after walking through the streets of Yarraville taking a few photos. Enjoyed TWO amazingly delicious Vanilla Latte's and a 3 egg Omelette. Super friendly service with a smile from everyone. Highly recommend! 👍😊❤️

the hot spiced eggs were dry and choice of spices didn't taste cohesive or well thought out. parts of our order were forgotten. the oat milk in my coffee was burnt. overall not the most pleasant dining experience.

Not great. Order the tangy smashed avo and really wasn’t that tangy to have a name like that. Pomegranates were old and shriveled. Toast was super soggy and the entire meal had way too much olive oil over it, there was oil all over my hands by the end of the meal.

The food is great!! I ordered the ratatouille and did not realise I had to request the vegan option. When my food came out I noticed it had cheese. The staff were very nice and happily made me a new one even though it was my mistake. All the waiters are also so lovely as I've been coming here a couple of months now.

On the corner near the station so you can't miss it, Wee Jeanie has a dark interior but heated outdoor courtyard which is nice. Coffee is average but food is pretty good.

This is my regular go to in Yarraville for breakfast, brunch or afternoon tea with friends. Do they sometimes have issues, yes, we were there one day over the Christmas period it was really hard to watch as they struggled with a lack of staff and a full house. At the end of the day their coffee is great, their food is mostly awesome (green eggs, bad idea guys). They’re pretty consistent and a nice bunch of people too. When we’re not eating in, we’ll grab a couple egg and bacon rolls and coffees to enjoy at home.

True test of a great cook and cafe is how well they do a simple dish. NAILED IT! 10 points.

Coffee is not bad, it does the job but nothing extraordinary. I had an oat flat white to takeaway and I payed $5. There is a sign outside saying that it’s the best coffee in Yarraville so I was expecting more. Here I leave you some pictures of the surrendering. As it’s next to Yarraville train station, is easy to park and you can find nice tables on the pedestrian path to take a sit outdoors on a sunny day.

You can sit inside or outside. It's a pretty nice place. Close to the train station and has the atmosphere of being close to a railway station, which I thought was quite cool. It would be nice to sit outside during warm and sunny days. Food looks great. Overall it's very good. I ordered the Croque Monsieur, which was very nice indeed. I added the egg with it as well but the egg yolk was overcooked and I do love a runny egg so the yolks would ooze over the sandwich, but wasn't to be. Overall it's still a very good experience and I'd come back as the service was quite good as well. We were welcomed warmly when we entered. It probably was a tough day in the kitchen that day when we were there.

We tried this popular local village cafe by the train station. Outdoor seating was lovely with large shady trees. Food was alright but service was poor. Lost our order, apologised but then did not prioritise the re-order so we ended up waiting ages for our food. Seems like their staff were not very familiar with their own menu or table numbers either. SERVICE FAIL!

Great coffee and super friendly staff. Offered to grind their beans for me to take home, which was cool. Will need your own carry container though.

Had a late brunch here with my friend. The atmosphere is so lovely and has a great vibe to it. The food was amazing! I had the pancakes and they weren’t like any I’ve had before. They were made with almond meal I believe which made them not too sweet but they still tasted lovely! My friend enjoyed her meal as well. Drinks are good and service was polite. Would definitely come back here when in Yarraville. Highly recommend.

My favourite cafe in Yarraville. The super food salad was unmatched (see photo). Came here over 10 times during a 6 month period and always had consistent service and amazing food. Thank you! It’s a small place, so don’t bring a large group. Great for cosy intimate catch-ups, or for solo cafe hoppers who like the solitude and curling up in a corner. They also do fresh juice!

Great place for lunch, great food, great service. Family and dog friendly. Would go back there again. Reasonably priced.

One of the loveliest customer service experiences I've personally come across in a long time. Thank you for the great coffee and for being such wonderful humans. I'll certainly be back ✨

Affordable price for brekkie and best coffee in town. Background music is a bit loud and sausage is salty. Best cafe in yarraville.

Ordered eggs on toast with avocado for $15, I received the the smallest piece of sourdough. Literally the end of the bread. A waste of money. So disappointed, who would serve someone that and think that’s a good feed?? As an avid brunch goer, I will not be going back.

Awful experience. Bad service and the food was extremely bad. Coffee was cold, Bacon was burnt to a crisp and my friend got wax on his jumper from the table and the staff didn't offer to help clean it or apologise. Deffinetly won't be returning. Not good enough.

"Dreadful Breakfast Experience" This Morning (29/12/2023) I had the most disappointing breakfast from wee Jeanie cafe via DoorDash, and if zero stars were an option, I'd choose that. The once delightful tangy smash avocado had an awful twist—it now tastes like lime pickle, making it a horrendous choice. Despite calling and requesting butter and jam on the side for my Sourdough toast, it arrived completely smothered in jam. The hash brown was an unappetizing flat brown mess.A truly regrettable experience.
