One of the best places I've tried doing the Egg Benedict the right way. See how beautiful the egg yolk it is.

A nice cozy cafe which we regularly visit. Staff and service are great. Food is usually very nice. Sometimes a touch overcooked There is a wide variety of food. However paleo options are a bit limited apart from salads The kids options are affordable. The usual options such as nuggets and fish and chips.

In the past, there were too many people, but now there are very few. After the meal, I understand the reason. The menu has been changed, and many popular main dishes have been lost. Moreover, the fried food has a peculiar smell of oil, and decaf coffee has to be charged extra. Counting that a meal is not expensive at a nearby Cafe, people are reluctant to come.

One of the most diverse and interesting menu you will ever see in a local cafe. I stopped by for a late brunch and tried the negin kebab platter and it was just too good. There are a lot of other interesting options that I need to try later.

Lovely cafe in the midst of the busy Macedon Square. Great menu with some delicious Persian food. Will happily return for another satisfying feed. Great coffee, too!

Went there for brunch, the CHILLI SCRAMBLED EGGS . OMG absolutly devine and the tomato relish did more than just compilment the eggs, 10/10 Caffe Macchiato. Certainly going to try the rest of the menu out if the Chilli eggs are just the start of a travel thru food eutopia. Keep up the great work!

Enjoyed lunch here. Attentive waiter and friendly barista. My vegetable panini was a generous serve and tasty. Great range of interesting sweet things too.

We tried Koobide kebab and Lamb shank with special rice. The lovely couple who run the place were super friendly and gave us some Persian dessert to take away. Can’t wait to try it and definitely go back there to try other dishes. 😋

Four of us had lunch today. Two had Charcoal Grilled Negini Kebab which was a super sized meal in itself. Pure delight. THe third had , again, supersized ,calamari, whilst the fourth had a made to order crumbed chicken burger with chips. The coffee was unbelievably good. The staff efficient and really friendly.Highly recommended. Definitely will be returning soon.

Popped in for a coffee but decided to stay for a quick lunch with the in-laws - Wow!!!! The Persian menu was fabulous, didn’t know which dish to choose. I had the chicken and lamb kebab dish, the taste was fabulous!!! Fresh and tasty. The other dish we had was from the regular menu, had the calamari - cooked perfectly and the salad was delicious!! This place is a hidden gem disguised as a cafe. Will be back for another go at the Persian dishes!!!

You need to order and pay at the counter no extra service at all. Really just to self serve and eat. No brunch vibe. Food is definitely not recommended. As least not French toast, too thick and no flavour of toast or egg coating. Coffee was average.so unless you have to, not recommended.

Excellent food. This cafe was brilliant to eat at. The owner was fabulous. The meal was filling, the food was absolutely delicious. Best kebabs I’ve ever had. The salad was tasty, and the rice was perfect. The only bad thing is it’s so far away from my house, I have to make a special trip for their wonderful food.

I recently visited Macchiato, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about their menu, and they were more than happy to help me navigate the options. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I tried several dishes, and each one was packed with flavor and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I especially loved the Kobideh Kebab, which was bursting with amazing flavors and textures. Another thing that stood out to me about this food shop was the attention to detail. Everything from the presentation of the dishes to the cleanliness of the dining area was top-notch. It's clear that the owners and staff take pride in their work, and it shows in every aspect of the experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Macchiato to anyone looking for a fantastic meal. Whether you're in the mood for something savory, sweet, or anything in between, this food shop has something to offer. Thank you to the staff for providing such a wonderful experience!"

Great place for a brunch / lunch. Licenced. Nice menu but not extensive. Most staples catered for. Nice atmosphere and big front glass window for viewing the passing humanity. Very good coffee. Well worth visiting.
