I love this place. We come here when we have our dogs washed at Canine Elegance. The quality of the food is consistently good. . The coffee is wonderful and the bloke who owns it has his family members on staff, so they really care about the quality.. At the moment it closes early on Saturdays at 1300 hrs, so if you want to order, rock up by midday! It’s my go too cafe when i am in the area!

Got there at 1pm, went inside to order and got asked if it was takeaway, we said no we'd like to sit at a table which was agreed. So our order came out to our table in takeaway bags, no serviettes and a takeaway coffee cup??? Owner said 'can you move chairs cos l want to mop the floor ' we obliged but halfway through eating he came out and closed the front doors where were sitting which left us on the outside of the Cafe, bit rude l thought. Seemed like they were more interested in closing, (there's no closing time on the window) Overall it was poor service, poor food, and giving us food as takeaway when we said we were sitting! really poor, do not bother going here, clearly they're not interested in customers and not afraid of losing business, a slice of arrogance perhaps?? Such a shame, previous owners were 5 star!

I absolutely love this place. The coffee is perfect, the service is fantastic, and the new chef is cooking some amazing dishes. Highly recommend Harry's Cafe, it's a Melbourne icon for me.

Slowest service ever. Young lad serving was grumpy and abrupt. I don’t think he wanted to be there. Coffee was good, but took ages to arrive, even though they were not that busy. Other customers were also complaining. There are quite a few other coffee shops in the area who are all a lot friendlier and service comes with a smile. I will be not be returning. **This was the third and last time I have been to this coffee shop and had same experience x3

Our second time having breakfast here while waiting for prescriptions from the pharmacy next door. I ordered again a large skinny milk cappuccino and my Mother a large skinny milk latte with a plate each of delicious toasted fruit bread. We sat outside in the lovely fresh air and the people in the cafe came to our table and took our order. The coffee and food was delicious. The best coffee I have had in ages. A 5 star rating all round for Harry's Cafe & Deli. We will be back when we have more prescriptions in the pharmacy next door. Thank you very much for the great service, food and coffee. We will definitely be back.

We have been here for breakfast a few times, the service was exceptional and the food was amazingly delicious! The staff are so kind and friendly. As soon as you walk in, you know you are going to be looked after. Coffee is great! Breakfast dishes are full of flavour and very enjoyable, chocolate cake, orange and carrot cake are highly recommended.

Breakfast with friends. Food was quite plain in its presentation. All poached eggs were overdone. Coffee was good. Unlikely to be back for the price you can get better meals in surrounding cafés

This place used to be really good but I don't know what's happening. Last few times we've been it's been very ordinary.
