4 girlfriends getting together for brunch this morning. Nice, atmospheric little cafe, but no greeting upon entering, & sat for nearly 1/2 hour before realising no table service coming. Went and spoke to ? owner, and advised that we would like to order please. Advised that 'our customers' usually come up to register. Finally came and took our order at table. Food arrived in good time and was very nice, but was served luke warm (big breakfasts) on a cold plate, which was disappointing. Coffee was very good, and nice and hot as requested. Chef passing 'well' after meal finished and asked would we like dirty plates taken away. Chef and assistant in cafe very nice. ? owner needs to improve his customer service skills and the currently poor table service. Would not return in a hurry :(

This is a pleasant cafe in the North Balwyn village. It’s slightly old fashioned, not that there’s anything wrong with that. There’s a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating here with some particularly enticing spots on the street that look across to interesting shops on the other side of the road. There’s good service here too. I was greeted nicely, they started making my coffee immediately and it was delivered briskly with accompanying water. The long black I was served was very respectful. It was a most enjoyable brew. I’ll eat here next time I come.

Everything is fine

Been several times before. Quite noisy. Very enjoyable spaghetti, but nothing flash.

Convenient cafe, handy to bring my mum to be easier and if I don't have lunch on a Saturday, I can buy takeaway. Cafe is great and has multiple flavors ice-cream. Reguards Stephen. 🌯

Great Coffee and reasonable priced

It’s rlly good I actually just went there the food is good (recommend food: longuire quiche) and the staff are so funny they were fighting and they started laughing 😝 good for kids and vegiterian foods!! (Sorry if I misspelled any words I. Am only 10yrs old) but if you like delicious 😋 foods definitely come here is good I just finished a quiche and chocolate mud rolls. Sooo goooooood (better than Burger King/Hungry jacks

They are by far the best café in balwyn north. Great service, food and coffee I have been going there for the past two years every day and never been let down friendly staff and affordable prices. Highly recommend giving it a try
