I have been a customer at Piatella for many years and here is why. 1. The service. I have been served by several waitstaffs over the years and most of them are nice , accommodating and friendly. That’s a big YES for me. 2. My family always have some desserts e.g. cakes , pancakes, waffles etc. with coffee. They all are generally delicious and consistent. 3. The price has always been reasonable and the ambient is great. Those are my reasons to like this cafe. Highly recommended and hope you all have great experiences as mine. 👍

Amazing service, firstly. Came in for waffles a few weeks ago - also great service. Great food, great desserts, it is slightly on the expensive side, but worth the money. Lunch menu is a little short and no kids menu though. Dinner menu is much better.

Just had a catch up here for breakfast. Great coffee and good variety of food on menu. Will definitely come back. We has had the pancakes and big breakfast. Definitely get there early on a Sunday as it gets busy. Also beware of the parking inspector for parking time.Ha today I got nabbed. Oh well great place for brunch, but parking inspector ruthless. 1min over.

I enjoyed the coffee and the friendly staff at this cafe. The interior is nicely done. However, I was disappointed with the food. The chicken had a strong fried oil smell, and the waffle was served cold.

Piatella is a go to for late night desserts. Have only ever come here for their desserts (mainly their waffles) and they have never disappointed. There are many tables with outdoor seating as an option if its ever super busy. The service here is quick and friendly. Have tried a couple different waffles and my favourite is the Apple Pie Waffle. Their butterscotch sauce is so good. This place has massive portions and they're waffles are especially filling. So make sure you save room for dessert or even share a plate between a couple people.

Loved the wide variety options of waffles or crepes choices with a decent portion to be able to share the dessert between two people after dinner. Staff were amazing here letting us know estimated times when tables will be freed up and then when available to quickly prepare a table for you with menus, cutlery and making us feel welcomed. Main dinner dishes, hot and cold beverages, desserts and alcoholic beverages. This place can tick all the boxes to meet groups dining requirements. It's packed for a reason and would highly recommend this place even if it's a minor wait outside for 5-10 minutes for a table to be available. Will be coming back.

Great cafe, amazing menu with delicious food and drink options all day long . Great location, atmosphere, well priced and quick friendly service. Will be visiting soon again a must try!

Its a nice place for a date night. This place is the busies around Kingsway so we glad to tried it out. People said they're popular for the desser which is crepes or waffles and some cakes. We tried their crepes and honestly its just average (Nor special) and we also tried their restaurant's food which is pretty good. Portion smaller than expected. Service is really good as well, but I think because it's very crowded you sit pretty close with other peple, so you can't really hear ur coversation. Price is average as well. Recomend to share the dessert with someone else because it's pretty sweet, quiet big portion and very filling!

Amazing and super tasty cafe! Food is absolutely stunning! I've been to many restaurants/cafe's in the same area and this is by far one of best cafes in Glen Waverley! Super friendly customer service too! Lot of cake options as well! SO YUMMM! Also refreshing drinks 🍹

Definitely a surprise in the burby shop precinct of Glenny! Worth a visit. Coffee nice and lots of food options and pasties. Shakshuka for me this time around. And there’s lots of space for seating. Staff are nice too!

Great late night dessert. Good portions with selections on the menu. We had coffee, crepes and waffles. Meal presentation was great however coffee quality was average. Dessert was the winner on this visit! Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a popular venue amongst the younger crowd with significant turnover making for a short wait in the line to get in.

I recently visited this Piatella and was blown away by the delicious waffles and the scrumptious butterscotch sauce. The waffles were cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. 🧇 What's more, the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and prompt, ensuring that my order was taken and delivered in a timely manner. I was really impressed with the level of service I received. 🙏 Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great-tasting waffles and a pleasant dining experience. Another Sunday and after our usual game of badminton, we decided no more Asian food. Instead going for some Western meals. We did a look up for popular Parma Chicken and found this place. Service & Ambience [4] The place was packed even though is near 2pm. We got ourselves a table and menu given. Overall their service was good and quick. However we felt the table is a bit small for four sitting adult, especially if the table is next to the brick wall and it's like obstructing your arm movement. Food [4]. Since they are popular for their Parma Chicken, we ordered two. The others are Alantic Salmon and Fried Chicken Waffle. Generally, their Parma Chicken is good but we had better ones. The salmon tasted good and would recommend. Lastly the Waffle Chicken is nothing to shout about. And coffee is good too. As we felt full after the food, our tummy has no space for their cakes, which look appealing. Perhaps next time.

Very reasonably priced. The chicken parma here is my constant go-to. Tastes absolutely delicious, portioned to cater for two. Had tried the octopus too, and was tasty. Will definitely recommend.

beautiful restaurant, great service and amazing food! we ordered the steaks and waffles for dessert - steaks cooked beautifully, chips were crispy and paired great with the homemade aioli, and the waffles were my favourite, perfect mix of bananas, strawberries and nutella. easy 5/5, thank you for a wonderful dinner 💗

We ordered 2 Pinot Noir glasses and after initially getting served incorrectly with white wine they then served our red wine in champagne glasses. I understand that you can be busy, however surely for serving wine you cater with enough wine glasses!! The Crepe we had was amazing and delicious.

Had the mussels with white wine sauce (forgot to take photo). It's nice, wish the wine taste would be stronger. Also had the orsnge&almond cake. Service is absolutely amazing. Friendly and cheerful team.

Brunch has always been absolutely delicious here. The service can be a hit or miss, been a few times. One time we were ignored for a good 20minutes, I had to flag the waitress down. Other people were getting served before us even though they came after us. After this incident I haven't been back until recently. Ordered the King tower which was really good. Matcha latte was perfect!

I came here last night with my family for dinner. Lovely service, the food is a little bit pricey but for the quality it is worth it. We had the octopus and I would highly recommend it. The desserts are something else, very generous servings, delicious flavours and not too sweet either.

A great one stop shop for food and dessert. Honestly can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. Everything is well cooked, well proportioned and full of flavor. If we had to choose one food from the menu it would definitely be the ribs as the bbq sauce has a mild Smokey flavour to it which is different. However, in terms of dessert hard to pick just one as they are all amazing. It does get very popular and the wait time can be long so make sure to arrive a bit earlier than peak hour or book! This place is definitely one of those places you need to come back multiple times to try different items on the menu.

Nothing can beat having brunch outside in a summery weather! This place is popular and busy on weekends. It’s got a very good spot, where you can just parked car on Kingsway and walk in. It was so nice and joyful to have brunch on the lawn. The iced chai tasted very nice, but the iced coffee was too bitter to me. Chilli scramble didn’t come with sourdough, which I didn’t like. Also, it was spicier than a lot of other places that I’ve been to. The staffs were so nice and attentive. Absolutely loved the experience there.

My favourite place for dessert. Their cakes are incredible! Strawberry and Nutella crepes are one of my top indulgences when in the area (although only available for brunch on the weekends). The service is so friendly, staff are understanding and accommodating with menu changes for intolerances etc. Today we had the fritters and potato rosti and both made us go "mm mm" with the first bite. It's not the cheapest but it's worth it. You really can't go wrong here.

Went there for desert after dinner. The placed was packed, the the staff were really friendly and were able to get my family a table. We had a variety cakes. The cakes mostly good but a little dry. all the cakes came with vanilla ice-cream. Really enjoyed the tiramisu and sticky date puddings.

Came here for dinner with friends after a recommendation from a friend. Beautiful decor really welcoming restaurant staff and accommodating for our baby and pram. The food was absolutely incredible didn't take long at all. My partner had the brisket and I had the Gnocchi and there wasn't one thing I could fault food was absolutely beautiful so tasty the brisket was soft just how it should be. Makes me miss living in Melbourne. Unfortunately we didn't get to have dessert as someone had our table from 7pm Compliments to the chef's We will be back.

Fantastic food, the crepe was so soft and delicious and we shared the big breakfast between two and it was the perfect amount. We sat in the sunroom and the atmosphere was lovely. 😍

There is a restaurant that can accommodate a lot of people. There are many varieties of food and the taste is good. The coffee is also fragrant, but today's octopus has no taste and the price is a bit high.

The food are comes in a good size, but the lamb are a bit too dry, but it still good overall ❤️the waffle is the most impressive one👍🏻

Small or large groups can be accommodated, so come as a pair or a group and enjoy. They have a vast faire of savoury and sweet options that compliment their coffee and drink selection. Their staff also make the experience well worth the visit too. This outing I was tempted into their scrambled eggs on toast with a potato hash brown to go with, while my other half had the full big breakfast option. Nothing but smiles and clean plates at the end of it.

It's the place to go if you are looking for a place that provides a great selection of cakes, waffles and crepes for dessert around Kingsway area. We had the chocolate lava cake and the waffles which were delicious. Portion size of the waffle was big in my opinion. Could probably have 2-3 people sharing one. The only disappointing thing was that it states on the menu that the waffle comes with maple syrup but it was served with golden syrup instead, hence I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.
