Fantastic matcha latte, tasted fresh and full of flavour. Delicious mushrooms, haloumi and fritters too.

Went in for a quick coffee and one of the ever cordial staff suggested a new fritter, okonomiyaki I think was the name! The food was 11/10. Excited to have Cafe Rubix right in my neighborhood!

Lovely crispy juicy and coffees. East raw chicken salad is a bit watery but taste good! Sunny salmond salad worth a try.

Staff are lovely and very welcoming. The vibe is great however the food and coffee is shocking. The long black tastes like instant coffee even worse to be honest, and the latte is very weak and milky. I think there beans aren’t the best and their food supplies are not well prepared / cooked. Amazing staff and a great vibe but at the end of the day this is a food and drinks business and those main points are just downright bad.

Absolutely amazing oh my gosh!!!! I never leave reviews but this place seriously deserves one. They have an amazing menu and you can tell they put love into their food. I honestly could not decide what I wanted, the food we received and the food we saw on other tables you could tell genuine effort was put into the food!! They didn’t just put things on the plate and served it, they have a really good attention to detail and the presentation was amazing, the flavours were beautiful! They seriously do care about quality. Price was regular pricing and pretty normal, one thing I will say is if you sit inside it can be noisy but it’s only because it’s an amazing cafe and clearly very popular!! definitely make a booking because it was busy. But yeah if a noisy cafe isn’t for you, you can always sit outside or get take away. Me and my friend were absolutely impressed and will definitely return. 10000/10

Absolutely adore our local, with excellent coffee and a huge range of other hot drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, fresh juices and bottle drinks, and a terrific menu. Consistently amazing food and such beautiful staff, there's definitely something to please even the pickiest of eaters, from toasted sangos to Vietnamese inspired dishes, innovative specials and really yummy sweet dishes. Indoor and outdoor dining and very dog friendly. We've never had a bad experience here, and we've been coming here for years and years! (10+) Check it out. You won't be sad you did. 😁

Benedict was good, the beef wasn't great but overll it was ok, the Mashroom madness was great, The buttercream pankace was better than the other shops, the only problem with pankace dush was using not fresh mackademia' Here's an improved version of the review: I had a mixed experience at this restaurant. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the presentation of the food was impressive. In particular, the Mushroom Madness dish was fantastic, and the buttercream pancake stood out as better than what I've had at other places. However, while the Benedict was good, the beef dish fell short of expectations. Although it was still decent overall, it didn't quite meet the high standard set by the other dishes. Additionally, the only drawback to the pancake dish was the use of not-fresh macadamia nuts in the dusting, which was disappointing. Overall, while there were some standout dishes, there were also a few misses. Nonetheless, the great staff and overall quality of the food made for an enjoyable experience.

Great place to grab a bite for lunch and often grab a toasted focaccia but gotta say the mayonnaise you offer tastes and looks very clear and watery (not creamy and whole egg style). It ruins the flavour of the dish. I order without mayonnaise and add my own. I know you offer Aioli but that is very overpowering and garlicky. If you used Kewpie or Best Foods Mayo I would adjust this review to 5 stars. Coffee is good and staff are friendly ☕️👌

I used to come here for takeaways as I like the taste of their coffee. Service however was underwhelming, especially from the guy who is often at the counter in the morning. No eye contact, no smile, simply asked for what I wanted to order and said nothing else after. Not even a thank you! I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this happened every single time. Weirdly enough, he seems to be very friendly towards some other customers and even chatted to them while taking my orders! 🤷 I've moved on to another cafe since.

Seasonal menus are added every season, with a mix of Asian flavors, great! The coffee is also very fragrant, and I like to be open until 4.30pm，and you can have afternoon tea after 2 o'clock.

Really cool little place, very quick and friendly service, food was good too. Good amount of seating inside and out. Nice coffee. Parking can be good out front, just watch out for the senior citizens, can get a bit hairy at times

Cafe Rubix was a surprisingly busy cafe, located in a small group of shops ( Kerrimur) on Middleborough Rd. Best parking is opposite shop ( 2 hr) whilest parking in front of shops is 1 hr only. All our food was very tasty, reasonably priced and service was fairly quick. Would have liked to see a bit more variety in desserts/sweets cabinet.

Really nice, cosy cafe. Stopped by to do some work for a short while and ordered a Mocha. Loved the chocolate-y and smooth taste of it! Loved the ambience and staff were very friendly! Would love to try the food next time. Only thing was the table I was at was quite sticky even after it was cleaned.

Ordered take away cappuccino, but tasted like flat white, not so happy about that. But their raspberry and white chocolate muffin tasted really good, love it! Quite busy on Saturday morning, service can be better.

Fried chicken bao is a simply delicious dish. Matcha latte is not sweet like what I like.

The coffee was good. My friend had a raspberry muffin and it was fresh. I had an almond croissant and it was fresh and yummy. Indoor was a bit noisy though 😊 Staff were friendly.

Stopped in for a coffee with a friend. The Latte was hot and just how I like it. Not too milky. I didn't order food but after watching what was coming out of the kitchen for other customers I definitely want to come back and try a couple of dishes.

I have been looking for my favorite coffee around the area, and I stop in Rubix cafe. Staffs are all so kind and warm every visit. Just went in for a quick breakfast, attended to quickly. Long was friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Open English muffin with scrambled eggs and an iced chai. Food was great. All staff had a smile. Will be back!

One of the best coffees in the Blackburn area! Quick and friendly service even during peak times. Always look forward to those first few sips of a Rubix coffee!!

What a lovely atmosphere in Rubix with beaming natural light coming through the cafe windows. Friendly customer service, great tasty food, and drinks. Would definitely come back to eat there again.
