This is the perfect place for brunch, the servings were generous with high quality ingredients. We ordered the eggs Benedict on top of a potato risto and captains plate. We were blown away by the food and the staff were very friendly. Highly recommended.

One of the best breakfasts I have had in my life. Four mushroom is divine. Coffee came out 45min late but I will give it a pass as it was Easter Friday and quite busy. Delicious coffee too I might add….definitely going back again!

A quick catch up with a friend since we weren't going for a bike ride due to the weather. Try a new place day so I selected the Red Cup Cafe since I have driven past this place for years and never checked it out. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked my Mocha, you'll be surprised how many places can make a good mix. My chilli eggs I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I don't think it's a good mix to have it with the small bread patties, it was also not very chilli, I would have to say it's not on my top 5 list of venues to have the meal. So overall happy to have checked it out but I sure wish I enjoyed my meal as I did my Mocha.

I don't easily relinquish a 5 star review but in this case it was well earned. The location is a little out on its own away from the huddle of Box Hill Central so I was surprised how busy it was during lunch on a Friday. Staff were friendly but the food was delicious. Prices about normal. 5 stars for me means I WANT to go back. Keep up the good work guys & see you next time.

Have driven past this cafe for years, and it is always busy- anytime of the morning or afternoon, so we decided to try it to see why it's so popular. I booked an indoor table, cafe was crowded, tables were undersized and seating was a bit squashy... wait staff couldn't fit between the chairs to effectively deliver meals. Food was ok, not great, but ok value for $$. One of my friends was served a coffee in a chipped glass. Cafe has a nice rustic feel with exposed brick walls and chalk drawings on blackboard sections of wall

$5.80 for a dirty mug (filthy on the bottom), coffee only just ok and not at all hot. Took 10 mins to arrive, was not busy at the time. Was ignored by 3 staff members on arrival, stood waiting to order while being looked at and not addressed at all- barista then immediately greeted the people walking in behind me. Staff unwelcoming and unfriendly. Will not be back.

Great eggs, generous serve of salmon on a fantastic potato rosti and just as great industry beans coffee in a lovely relaxed room (at least when we were there early Sunday morning). Nice service too to top it off

Love….. I go out of my way to grab one of their raspberry white chocolate bran muffins. I think about them often. Being the sweet tooth I am, cafes that have caramel syrup for my ice latte is a HUGE tick. Friendly staff. Fun quotes on the blackboard. Good vibes inside or out. Been coming here for a few years now… Thanks crew☺️

Red Cup Cafe is on Whitehorse Rd Box Hill not far from the corner with Middleborough Road. We arrived early one Saturday morning and only a few places were taken but by 9.30 the place was abuzz with hardly a seat left. Breakfast was simply amazing. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with a Golden Latte (Latte with Turmeric and Almond milk) probably the best I've had. My friend ordered the Chilli Scrambled eggs which was equally exquisite. The service was prompt and friendly and it became quite obvious why it is such a popular spot. Highly recommended

I had the Egg Benedict and it was delicious. My husband had the spicy eggs and he enjoyed them as well. Service was welcoming despite the busy lunch time on a Thursday afternoon. Coffee can be improved but not too bad. Definitely will return to try something else on the menu.

Always passed this cafe driving down Whitehorse Road, finally got to try it. Tried their sushi bowl and matcha latte. Matcha latte was just great and perfect, enough matcha strength and sweetness. Sushi bowl was small in portion for $20 meal, and while I like the idea, the rice was a bit tough inside, so not cooked perfectly. But overall a nice cafe, chips were really nice. Chicken burger was nice.

Went to Red Cup Cafe with my mate after our morning run. The coffee was nice and my long Mac was made how I liked it. The food was amazing and delicious. Definitely will come back here for coffee and probably brunch again

Amazing food, great staff and only complaint I've ever had is coffee being a little too strong. (But like only twice out of many visits). Not to mention the location isn't too close to box hill central to make parking impossible, but not too far that you can't walk there afterwards

Really amazing food. I definitely can’t put my experience in words. Everyone must try the *REALLY FRESH* food. Orange juice is must try. Bread is really good. Better than many cafes.

Ordered the tempura fish taco, green smoothie and homemade scone. All the meals we ordered were very filling and fresh! Green smoothie was just so delicious and a good portion size for the price too. Amazing homemade scone also worth the price- 100% recommend trying their sweets in their cabinet. The taco had a lot of sauce on them (I'll be sure to ask for the sauce on the side next time). Staff were super friendly and kind to all customers. Keep up the great work! Will be returning soon :)

I have been coming here since they first opened and have never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious and super fresh and the service is great. They have always accommodated my allergies with no issues, but they were particularly fantastic today - I placed an order with Uber Eats and Red Cup got straight back to me to ensure I was well - looked after. The sandwich I ended up with was AMAZING, too.

Nice coffee at the red cup cafe. Seating inside and out. Large serve of carrot cake. Slow service even though it was not at all busy.

Cold maybe slightly room temperature coffee, coffee is average at best if not slightly below. Food was not great, wouldn't go back for a free meal. Staff are friendly, very loud due to being next to Whitehorse road but not the worst place for a conversation. Very confused as to why it's has a high rating, I would skip this place if you can.

Nice little cafe in off-busy box hill area. I found food is a bit expensive (I believe the price is similar to the most brunch cafes around). Foods are usually pretty good but the one we ordered was very overcooked and dry. I spoke to the staff and she was very appreciative to the feedback. The redcup breakfast burger(?) I ate was very nice- it was the one displayed in the counter (not in the menu) and around $12 which was very reasonable. It has street parkings. Plenty but can be crowded when it is busy. Staff are very friendly. The cafe is not big so it can be a bit noisy when there are too many people.

Second time here and I came for the matcha latte! I don’t normally order matcha latte (a full-cream caffè latte is my go-to) but the hint of cinnamon and almond milk combo makes it so unique and delicious. I am picky about milk texture and the lovely barista absolutely nailed it - nice and hot but not burnt, and perfectly steamed milk with silky smooth microfoam - thank you again! Same goes with the cappuccino my partner ordered. The Egg Benedict with smoked salmon was super delicious - potato rosti nice and crispy. My partner’s Corn Zucchini, Polenta and Ricotta Fritters also had lovely flavours however he felt like it didn’t hit the spot the same as mine did - in hindsight, probably should’ve ordered something else to his tasting. A new-found cosy, rustic local cafe we will be returning to many more times.

Not pricey at all for a brunch cafe. Brunch was so tasty, and it made me full. (At glance, I thought it was small, but even half of it made me so full) But cold brew was too small (Maybe they sell bigger sizes, so it’s my fault not ordering bigger one. Cold Brew was sooo tasty. Best cold brew ever.) Update: I saw someone dropped porter filter on the floor and using it without rinsing it. It doesn’t look like very sanitary, so I changed my rating since I want to be honest of my rating. (It was 5 star before seeing it, but changed to 3)

Look at these pictures and decide for yourself. Best cafe in the area BY A LONG SHOT. Super comfy, friendly staff, highly curated menu. Cannot recommend it enough.

All of the baristas/servers were incredibly warm and welcoming, beautiful coffee and food, my drink came with a bear 🐻 how cute!! Would recommend, best service ever, fast food service and very accomodating to dietary requirements.

Stand alone cafe with easy street parking. Inside and outdoor seating. Food was good and varied. Matcha latte was delicious. Can really taste the matcha however temp could be hotter. They had old style chairs that reminded me of school chairs. There were some pastries in the cabinet as well. On the higher end for pricing.

Amazing coffee, food and service, helping me get through the whole day of teaching lol. The barista girl is not only so pretty but also makes great coffee! High recommend 😉

The coffee and food was good. We ordered a captain breakfast and scone for the little one to share. However, the food was a bit not enough for us so we decided to order extra scramble egg. They charged the scramble egg (which made of two eggs) $9.00 which I think is too pricy for the simple food with that amount.

I absolutely love this cafe… what a gem!! The food and coffee is amazing, and they cater for so many needs. My kids eat here very happily, and the menu has great variety, including their cakes cabinet. The service here is exceptional!!

Went for breakfast. Menu options were mostly egg based, it would be nice to have more fruit or cereal options. Service was unfriendly and slow. We would have ordered a second coffee but weren't asked. Plates were only cleared once I stacked them up out of our way. We needed more water but no one came, so we ended up leaving. It's a pity because this place used to be good. It wasn't particularly busy, staff were occupied somehow, just not very customer focused.
