👍👍 Gorgeous bakery full of excellent treats. The little brioche mice in the window were a great start. Another guest was savouring one with a coffee, and told me they usually sell out early. Gorgeous bakery full of excellent treats. The little brioche mice in the window were a great start. Another guest was savouring one with a coffee, and told me they usually sell out early. I had an almond croissant with my coffee, and it was lovely, more of a tender style than a crisp one. Staff were delightful too, and there are magazines, newspapers and free wi-fi. Ask for the WiFi password, it's an amusing one.

One of my favourite cafes in Balwyn. Brings me back to London and Europe with fancy tea and desserts. There's an outdoor fog friendly area. Highly recommended visiting.

I was served by a lovely youngster last Saturday, she had short hair and a white jumper, I believe her exceptional service was worth recognition and praise. will be coming back soon and hope to see her again, she is an asset to this great establishment.

The wall is made of large floor-to-ceiling glass. Sitting inside has a good view of the outside. The coffee and desserts are also good.

Bought a cake here yesterday the Blueberry mousse cheesecake to take along to a friends BBQ. Very dissappointing! The cake tasted like it was off, my husband nearly vomitted which I thought was oddly strange as he loves dessert. My friend who is a dessert expert tried the cake and she said it was very watery with a very bitter finish like the cake was either off or the cream had split or the cake had been left out of the fridge for too long a period of time. I decided to take the cake back home & return to the bakery after all I was quite embarassed and out of pocket $28 dollars. (lucky I bought the small size) I got onto Queenie the manager (also the one writing her own reviews) she assured me there is nothing wrong with the cake, and tried to suggest that while driving to Richmond from Balwyn could potentially have been the problem. Looking to blame anyone but yourself isn't a great way of handling customer service! I thought it would be good for the store to know that their cake was bad, but she would not accept this, I offered to bring the cake in to show her but she said a cake like that will split after second day? Then she asked what I would like from her, I asked for a refund, or replacement cake for another occassion. We have bought other cakes from the store and never had a problem but there was definately a problem this time. Queenie abruptly advised they do not refund or replace cakes, but will give me 2 small pastries if I come back. I won't ever be returning to this store, simply based on the very poor and ignorant level of customer service adding to the disappointing and definitely off Blueberry Mousse cheesecake!

Le Paul slings the best coffee on the street, bar none. The barista is a bright and happy fellow who clearly takes great pride in his work. Many thanks!

The best coffee and pastries in Balwyn by far. No contest.

Loved the cakes. Was looking for a place that was open a bit later on a Saturday to bring cakes to my grandparents and the cakes were beautiful and were reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

I thoroughly enjoy coming into Le Paul Patisserie and getting my morning coffee on the weekends... until my favourite waitress suddenly left. She had very funky short hair and a lovely attitude that made my day! Don't know what happened to her but she's definitely a keeper!

We went to Le Paul Patisserie as per our usual routine, expecting to have good coffee and cake however our experience was terribly ruined. Whilst waiting for my friends to arrive, I entered first and went to the toilet. Upon finishing up, I was surprisingly approached and told off by one of the male staff or the owner that I had left the toilet in a dirty state in a manner that was quite rude and arrogant. Taken aback, I went back to the toilet in order to see what this whole 'mess' was about just to reconfirm that the toilet seat was still up and there was just the occasional droplets on the floor that could've been from anyone. Now, I guess if you want the combination of coffee, cake and to be monitored on the toilet in addition to having a rude conversation with the staff, Le Paul Patisserie in Balwyn would be the perfect place to go.
