It is a family-style restaurant with few varieties. The taste is authentic Australian flavor. The space is small, so you can smell the kitchen fumes. The environment is quite comfortable.

Date of visit - 07FEB2022 Really good coffee! It offers a small indoor area and nice shaded outdoor area next to to semi busy road for you to enjoy a coffee or breakfast, the staff are friendly, attentive and offer table service. The menu is a good sized menu with quite a bit of variety and appears to be a favourite amongst the locals! See photos - Today we are having the (massive) 'Big Breakfast' with scrambled eggs and the (spongy and fluffy more of a pancake style) 'Pumpkin and Corn Fritters' Big Breakfast PROS - - Huge serving portion - Great value - Have the eggs cooked the way you want - Filling Big Breakfast CONS - - Nothing really, perhaps for some it is too big but who would complain about that... Pumpkin and Corn Fritters PROS - - Great value and size - Yummy flavours and fresh - Filling Pumpkin and Corn Fritters CONS - - Perhaps a debate as to whether these are Fritters or pancakes but nonetheless it was yum! 2x dishes and 3x coffees will set you back around $55, valued as fair. Lovely little cafe, thanks for having me @Mason Lane! 😊 🍳Food was excellent, poached eggs we're perfect. 💰 Price was fair and reasonable. ☕️ Coffee was fantastic, a great cup! 🤵 Staff were lovely and friendly. 🏎 Plenty of parking available outside on Hamilton Street.

I bought two muffins (one savory and one sweet) and two lattes here. The coffees were excellent, and the muffins not only tasted delicious and were also eye candies. Flavor of the sweet muffin was blackberry, white chocolate & apple, and of the savory muffin, capsicum, bacon & cheese. Generous ingredients and great flavors too. The server (or owner?) who served us is so awesome and friendly; she not only kindly offered to cut the muffins in half for us and packed it up so nicely with lovely napkin which made the photo looked soooo good! I had a great experience here and will definitely be back for more delicious food and coffees 😊

Great range of (reasonably priced) fresh food, great customer service, and seriously, the best muffins in the southern hemisphere!

Nice cafe, friendly staff and handy location for locals. Chai and mocha were nice. But the standout is the almond, pear and honey muffin. Light, fluffy and flavoursome. Highly recommended if there are some left and you like that combination.

Very friendly service. They were happy to accommodate my friend’s dog and sat us on a large table outside. The pumpkin and corn fritters with smoked salmon were delicious.

Really enjoyed our coffee here. Very friendly and helpful service. Great coffee. We ordered a muffin to share and they brought it out cut in half on separate plates - loved that! And the muffins were lovely!

Cozy little cafe tucked away in a lovely part of Melbourne. Atmosphere was great, and service couldn’t have been better. We ordered coffee and breakfast and were unable to find a single fault. The food was delicious, and made with care, while the portions were generous and well priced. Will definitely be back!

First time here. Had the Smashed Avo and the Big Breakfast. Both are Sensational dishes. Bursting with flavour and generous portions. Topped with perfect coffee, delicious muffins and friendly service make this cosy Cafe a real stand out. Will most definitely be back for more.

Just excellent. Good coffee. Great food. Quiet, prompt, friendly service. Cosy atmosphere. (Maybe it’s quiet because the level crossing is closed so there’s not much traffic?)

A lovely little cafe that's great for lunch, a snack or just a coffee. Very friendly staff and a good selection of wholesome foods. Good for small groups or individual dining.

Was disappointed with the quality of food here. Especially after seeing the good ratings and photos that were on Google. The pancakes shown on Google were not on the menu. Smash avocado toast felt stale and so plain. Something you puke make at home. Nothing special. The serving staff was lovely and Drinks were ok.

I love this little cafe. The owner and the staff warmly welcome their customers and food is consistently good there. Sparkling water is free and the chef decorates dishes with fruit and flowers. They also sell a good range of muffins including savoury ones.
