Great to see more local cafes opening up that cater for gluten free diets. We popped in here for the first time to try out a Sunday brunch, and was pleasantly surprised. The place was busy (always a good sign) however we had made a reservation, so our table was ready and we were met with a friendly greeting from the staff. I ordered the big breakfast, and they say you eat with your eyes first, and when the meal came out it looked delicious. It also tasted as good as it looked, although they didn't include a hash brown with it (it was supposed to be in the big breakfast). Maybe they couldn't fit it on the plate. Still, I should probably eat less anyway. The only other downside was it was quite noisy inside, but that's a small price to pay for yummy food. We picked up a cake and ice-cream to take away. Update 3/9/23: still busy as ever, but great food, and they have me a hash brown today. Added some extra photos. Still highly recommended.

Went for brunch here on a Sunday mid morning. I found parking fairly full but some nice close disabled parking with pedestrian crossing well placed. The venue is well laid out. clean with slightly austere atmosphere. The service was impeccable and the scrambled eggs on dark rye was very nice. I had a large flat white coffee which was the perfect temperature and good flavour. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to others.

It’s BEAN a while since we’d eaten at Bean in the Woods. It was pricey! The menu looked interesting but I’m not in a rush to go back…. Unless someone else is shouting 😉

I always grab a coffee from here on my way through. The espresso’s are consistently high quality. The vegan take away options such as cottage pie and “sausage” rolls are delicious The menu has extensive vegetarian and vegan options. And the owner is passionate about his business and service! Well done 😀

Staff : Friendly Coffee: average English breakfast : acceptable 👍 Sandwich: yummy 😋 The glasses are smelly and not washed properly. It was the smell of egg 🥚

Great location and love the servings here. Had the Reuben Sandwich and would like to say that the pastrami is as good as Katz Deli's (that "I'll have what's she having" place in NYC).

Came here for a late breakfast and really loved it. The guy that served us was super attentive and helpful even though he was dealing with a million other things. We ordered a big breakfast and asked if we could share it, and he split it up onto seperate plates and even gave us an extra hashbrown for free. Coffee was delicious, and the seating was really comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area looking for good food and coffee

Friend and I came here with our one year olds, they were super kind accommodating. He even split our meals so we could share th lamb pizza and the big breakfast. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Great Cafe, but portions are small for what you pay for. They can be a bit more generous with their servings, and although their coffee is excellent, their large size is like a medium everywhere else. Their service is great, but overall, that's why they get 4 instead of 5 stars.

Drinks: Large hot chocolates Food: Breakfast pizza and BLT sandwich Hot chocolates were indeed large and delicious. Breakfast pizza was everything I hoped it would be! Absolutely delicious. Generous portion. Will be back again to order this exact item and to try other things. BLT for my celiac sister was another hit. She could eat all the gf bread (too much for her personally) but she loved the meal in total. I found this recommendation in a GlutenFree Melb Facebook group and I am very happy with my experience. The restaurant was busy when we arrived and remained so, with a lot of happy returning customers I’m sure. Thank you!!

Absolutely beautiful food and coffee. The Greek breakfast was delicious and a huge serve with the added bacon. Pita bread was amazing and the tomato scrambled egg with olives and feta was delicious too.

Absolutely love Bean in the Woods! One of the only cafe's we go to now because of their huge range of delicious Gluten Free food! You honestly cannot tell it is gluten free, it's fresh and there is an alternative for all the dishes. The staff are incredibly friendly and make each group feel personally looked after. The serving sizes are also incredibly generous, especially for the price! Best cafe in the area.

Enjoyed a delicious meal and loved every bite of it. The best part was the service, they had our meals already in half servings which made it so easy to share with my partner and enjoy my meal at the same time...thank you.
