One of my favourite cafes in Melbourne, coffee here is exceptional. It's a cozy place, floor staff are always friendly, they remember your coffee order the second time you visit! The food is great too, I've had magic mushrooms twice and corn fritter once and they have been consistently great. Highly recommended.

I made my own simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, smashed avocado and baked beans. Whilst it was simple, flavour wise it was anything but-all the classics done to perfection. Hubs got the prawn chilli omelette which he loved. We are overall just so thoroughly impressed with this place everything we’ve ever tried has been flawless Original review All dishes we ordered were stunningly presented and utterly yummy. I’d be very hard pressed to pick a favourite and thoroughly recommend them all. The red velvet hotcake is their signature and I can certainly see why. It’s just the perfect texture and despite lending itself to sweetness I found it very well balanced for a dessert breakfast. I adored the chocolate mousse and raspberry ice cream that accompanied it. A faultless dish for me We switched into savoury next with the stellar chicken burger. This was deliciously moist and I personally love the combination of pineapple and chicken. The bun and the chips that went with it were also exceptionally tasty. Our final dish was on the specials menu but it’s well worth elevation to permanent listing. The French toast was simply heavenly. The pairing of seasonal fruit, lemon curd and plum cream was worked together flawlessly. One of the best I’ve tried and easily the best in the area. My new favourite spot in Camberwell!

What an amazing place for brunch. Friendly service great coffees and food. I loved the zucchini and corn fritters which were lightly fried but still had a nice crispy to it. The capsicum delish paired so well with the fritters and the avo was so fresh. As a fan of potatoes, I ordered a side of potato hash which was well made and delicious. Coffees were great and the houjicha latte was so smoothe and aromatic.

Cute little cafe. Kind of squishy, especially if you're on the larger side. But the staff were welcoming and really attentive to our needs. Food was delicious. Small servings, but flavors and quality were great. Well worth the visit if you're in the area.

Great coffee, beautiful design in the milk! highly recommend their Thai chicken scramble eggs, so much flavor and very filling. A little tip for the cafe, our eggs Benedict were very tasty but served in a shallow bowl which made cutting it awkward and it had a small raised base which kept tipping every time pressure was applied on the knife. Also they had a customer come inside with two dogs which is a little off putting for other diners. Other than that would highly recommend !

Decided to have my first brunch out after the lockdown at Prospect, I’m so happy that I’ve made the right choice! I’ve read a lot of positive reviews, and got so excited that Prospect has re-opened its door for dine-in! (while takeaway and delivery via ubereats are also available) We’re lucky to get a table on a busy Sunday morning. Prospect serves absolute great coffee, and rich, hot mork chocolate (with yummy complimentary marshmallow!). Love the way we were greeted by very friendly and attentive staffs here. OMG their Hash Stack is a BOMB!!😍 House made potato hash with crispy bacon, grilled halloumi, sourdough and fried egg (requested to change to my fave poached egg🙏🏻). One of the best we’ve had - So crispy on the outside, creamy and smooth on the inside. What a perfect dish! We also love their new Winter item - Steak Sandwich. Juicy and tender Steak with caramelised onions, spinach, tomato, cheese and fried egg. Be ready to devour this scrumptious sanga and the generous portion of hot chips when they’re still hot! Last but not the least, If you have a sweet tooth, the French Toast is the one to die for! Perfect balance of sweetness from the bread, vanilla ice cream and maple syrup and a bit of refreshing sourness from the raspberry coulis. Light and soft, not greasy at all. So delicious! I will definitely be back for more!

Friendly staff, with a man who cooks with passion at the back! Absolute perfect start to the easter weekend! Food was amazing! Do try the fresh toast and their prospect breakfast - homemade hash was an absolute delight!

Coffee was good but could have been hotter. We chose to dine inside, I asked to have our sandwich cut into 3 pieces instead of 2 so we could share & they said no. They also didn’t have any clean plates to share the sandwich and offered us a bowl instead. Did not appreciate being shushed as I tried to ask for water. Wouldn’t go back

I visit this cafe almost everyday before work and they are the sweetest bunch of people. On top of that their coffee is the best in the area and their food is great too. If I’m needing a kick in the morning I personally love just a bacon and hashbrown muffin. Amazing service, great food, the best coffee

Great staff and cosy place. The food is well presented. Small spaces for eating and this place can get very busy so be patient . Probably a little over priced for the quality and quality BUT that’s not to say that you shouldn’t give it a try for yourself .

The first cafe I visited after iso and I was not disappointed! The staff were extremely kind, and the food was just divine! We ordered the corn fritters, hash stack and sticky date pudding. All of which were delicious, especially the sticky date (the softest I've ever had)!
