Friends of Mine served delicious brunch meals and coffee. I’d tried a few things from this place - eggs Benedict was my favourite. Salmon gravlax was pretty good too but fried chicken po boys was rather tasteless. Coffee was great, and I loved how there were always fresh flowers on the tables!

Absolutely shocking place, food was slimy and tasted wrong and the coffee was very average. One star is for the wonderful staff. We ended up giving feedback to the owner and we were met with absolute putrid arrogance and ignorance. He mentioned we had eaten the food insinuating that we enjoyed it, when in actuality we left at least half of it and ate the bread.

Nice brunch place, friendly staff and solid food. Their cheese toast is delicious. And their miso salmon is pretty good too.

Walking in, we were made to feel right at home. Lovely friendly welcoming service. Starting w fresh orange juice, which was great. Chilli scrambled for me, a big serving and absolutely delicious. Wow! My partner had shakshuka, which was really tasty. The eggs were maybe a little overcooked but still good. We ordered some extra toast to soak up the sauce, which was perfect. Nothing left at the end, which is always a good sign. Overall, this was a memorable experience, and I'll definitely be going back.

This place used to be good but it's gone downhill rapidly - are there new owners?! The service was excruciatingly bad; from our coffee's to our meals, there was an issue. When we went to pay, the owner asked us how everything was, so we gave honest feedback; he then acted like a complete smart alec! Mocking us at the top of his lungs, it was bizarre behaviour. We did receive $20 off the bill but not without a performance! (this worked out to be the 20% public holiday surcharge)

The indoor venue is lovely and quite big. Shakshuka is tasty. The staffs are all lovely and friendly. Burgers are okay, not bad but nothing special. The matcha latte is too weak for my liking.

Friends of mine is a beautiful cafe with a warm cosy feel with a large space inside to get comfortable. Service here is friendly and quick. Coffee is on point and the menu has great breakfast and lunch options along with a good takeaway and treats cabinet at the front. Flavours are popping, good serving sizes and small twists on some classic dishes. A good cafe for an easy way and food coffee

The shakshuka was very good, however I found service a tad unfriendly. It was a very hot day and no aircon inside the cafe.

How can you burn a long black? With so many options for coffee in Richmond, Friends of Mine is lucky to be located away from the rest. For a better coffee, that isn't burnt, try MAKER at 47 North Street or Mayday at 410 Bridge Road.

Love Friends of Mine. There is plenty of seating inside and out so you rarely need to wait to dine in. There is always plenty of staff making the service friendly and efficient - you won’t be waiting long for your food. A shout out to Jade who is always friendly and helpful. I really like the menu and there is something for everyone with loads of GF options - the chilli scramble and pulled pork Benny are my favourites. Oops almost forgot the coffee - always good. A must visit when in Swann st Richmond.

OMG. This place, the food, the staff, the setting. Perfection. I got the Richmond Refresher juice with my Super Greens Salad with grilled chicken. I could not fault either of them. I loved the pulp in the juice and it was a perfect ginger and sweet balance. The Super Green Salad with grilled chicken was exceptional. Those little raisins, and only a few of them, really made a great difference in balancing out the saltiness of the feta. The bits of fresh beetroot and sliced fried carrot bits were to die for. The kale was fresh and wet with the quinoa sprinkled all over. A genuine masterpiece. This place is a MUST TRY 🙌

Very well known cafe in Richmond! Happily accommodating our walk in group on 4 wanting brunch. Delicious menu as you can see which made it so difficult to choose from! We order the French toast, omelette and chilli scrambled eggs - each meal was delicious and very well portioned. The omelettes were stuffed! We also got some smoothies and juices - delicious also.

Nice place with great menu. Had a simple bacon and eggs on toast and the eggs were poached perfectly. Bacon also tasted quite high grade and wasn't super fatty. Only thing I missed was the croissants. Didnt see them on the menu and only realise they have them as we were leaving and saw the in the reception display. Next time!

This place has such a cosy homely vibe for a little local cafe. Very well decorated with a lot of beautiful accent pieces and a large array of food and drink options available. Perfect for any and all meals and a great place for a morning coffee on the way to work. The atmosphere is chill making it an ideal, family friendly cafe in a prime location. Staff are very welcoming and seem lovely, as well as willing to take care of anything you may need during your time at the venue. I got a chocolate thick shake and as I waited was very tempted to just stick around longer and eat after seeing all the meals being brought out to other customers. Overall it’s a very nice space with a lot of character, bigger then you’d expect from the outside, and super easy to get to. I would recommend people come check it out for themselves and drop in for a coffee or a bite to eat and I’ll certainly be returning with friends and family if given the chance.

Thank you to Jayde and all the lovely staff for a wonderful night celebrating my daughters Birthday. Everything was just perfect! The venue looked beautiful and the flowers were superb. The guests all commented on the friendly staff, the beautiful food, the flowing drinks, and the wonderful venue for such a gathering. We had a lovely relaxed and fun night ! You won’t be disappointed if you chose Friends of Mine for your event.

You know how some cafes seem warm and friendly on social media but don't match that vibe when you go? Well Friends of Mine is every bit as welcoming and delicious as you'd expect! The food was amazing and the service was friendly as well as being very careful about my allergies. We went on a public holiday and even though they were really busy, we didn't feel rushed at all. We also attended a wedding here last year which was absolutely divine, the catering was incredible and the space was beautiful.

Found a piece of mould in the feta on Avocado on Toast. The Eggs Benedict had a ham hock patty with the consistency of cat food. Coffee was average. When we went to pay the guy asked us if we enjoyed everything, we said that we didn’t but he wasn’t interested in hearing us elaborate. Not overly happy paying $75 for that. Table service was okay though and food was quick to arrive.

Love this place for delicious fresh brunch food, yummy Cappuccino and always friendly staff. One of my favourite local Cafe's. Highly recommend! ❤️

Absolutely shocking service. Waited 30minutes for a takeaway coffee. People ordered after me were given their coffee 15 minute before me. Been a few times to give them a few chances and every time gets worse. Also got charged different every time I went. I highly suggest Jethro down the road, its a lot better and quicker.

A cafe gem. As soon as you walk in there is a beautifully extravagant chandelier balanced by exposed brick, timber and bright yellow trimmings. The smashed avocado with pomegranate and poached egg is delicious. The earl grey tea served in a quirky pot takes me back to childhood. The service is excellent and the staff are welcoming and warm. But most importantly... the coffee was worth the drive over. If you're looking for a cool, relaxed atmosphere look no further!

My eggs were served on a cold plate. When I mentioned to two staff they said that was ‘interesting’ and one said they would feedback to the kitchen. I had hoped for a better reaction hence I will never return and I’m writing this review to warn others.
