It is really cosy and lovely bar with friendly atmosphere. It is designed with antique furnitures and rustic theme. I would recommend this place to hang out with friends and family and have a great time here. We enjoyed the wine, cocktails and dips.

Ohhhhh if uou haven't been drop everything and go now. Great happy hour and great selection food and drink. Melted Camembert yummy and if cocktail no on menu awesome staff will come up with something for you!

Spotted the bustling outdoor area while passing by, so popped in to see what all the fuss was about. It did not disappoint. Delicious cocktails, great Guinness on tap and a fantastic atmosphere made by the background music. Staff could not have been more welcoming. Definitely visit if you’re in the area.

Wow, what a hidden gem of a bar! This place takes up the Whole length of the building and a private area upstairs. Fantastic Happy Hour specials. Will be visiting this place as often as I can on this side of town.

If you want a cosy, quaint and intimate place for a drink in Elsternwick, this is the place. Staff look very dapper and eager to assist you with a cocktail or drink. Can recommend the baked cheese and charcuterie board too. Cheers

Great classy bar, cosy with warmth, the style is unique and warming. Classic couches and areas to talk over some fantastic cocktails. Amazing service. I recommend the 5 spice old fashion and the lamb pizza.

Our new fave! What a fabulous local bar this is. Everything is right about this place - the vibe, the music, the huge array of cocktails (delish chocolate martinis!) and wines, the amazingly friendly staff, yeah, everything! We got here around 11pm on a rainy Saturday evening and it was lively with a great crowd. Can't wait to go back - even the food is yum - try the meatballs!

What a cosy, atmospheric spot! My friend and I stopped after an exercise class in our ordinary workout clothes but were treated so kindly by the staff. Table service is such a treat these days. I especially loved all the numerous fireplaces as it was a chilly night. My mulled wine was delicious and reasonably priced. I will be back with more friends!

My friend and I really enjoyed our time at Antique Bar. Cocktails were super tasty (we definitely recommend the cheesecake cocktail, and the cocktail of the month which was peanut butter 🍰🥜). The place has a lovely intimate ambience and is great for a nightcap. I stupidly left my bag at the bar, but thankfully staff were very helpful in locating and returning it to me (despite the bar being closed that day)! Highly recommend 🌟

Service is swift and Lyle is a true asset to this establishment; always going over and above to ensure we’re catered for. Genuinely the best Guinness I’ve ever had let alone Melbourne. Stone and wood $10.50 pint in their happy hour that ends at 7. The interior decor is very boujee and would be a great date spot. The inside is low-lit so feels a little dark sometimes but once the sun sets the lighting brings this place alive. Quaint outdoor seating on the roadside and a small beer garden at the rear. Come and get yourselves a pint of the black stuff here asap!

Cracking pub! One might say the best Guinness in Melbourne. It certainly has the right to make that claim. Beautiful pint. Had to have 2. The atmosphere there is awesome. Got that real pub feel inside, especially on a Sunday with the trad session. All the staff we interacted with were lovely and very accommodating. Mollie in particular was super friendly and made us feel at home. Great job guys

Absolutely loved this place. We were extremely surprised to find a genuine happy hour cocktail/wine bar. The staff are fabulous. Extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend dropping by for a drink (or 3😉) Look forward to visiting again next time that we are in Melbourne.

We loved Antique Bar. We went here on a date night for some cocktails. The interior is so cool, the drinks were great. We had the chocolate moose cocktail and it was incredible. It was velvety smooth and rich. We also had a gingerbread cocktail which we didn't like as much, it was too sour for our liking. They also provide board games which made the experience so much more cosy and inviting. I would absolutely recommend this place

We have had long on/off relationship with this bar. Always loved the place but have had good and bad interactions with former staff and management. I have to say I CANNOT over-emphasise how fantastic a night we just had. An impromptu return drink for happy hour (4 -7) with some insanely good affordable beer and cocktails turned into us staying for trivia night and my buying a Guinness (because it genuinely was the best Guinness I’ve seen poured anywhere and I HAD to have one!) … I should just shut up! Running a small business ourselves we are all about service and every single staff person had genuine care and attention to detail customer service in spades! Actually I just kind of want to say thank you … because this place meant a lot to us when we started our business (when we started in our bootstraps) this is where we came to decompress and I am so happy to have re-found it again. Looking forward to making this place a part of my weekly watering holes once again! 🙏🏼❤️

Cannot fault this wonderful bar! I had a birthday party over the weekend here and cannot recommend enough! Besides Boutaina and Lyle being exceptional before the night, together with the staff on the night made it the most relaxed, seamless fun evening. The drinks are great, the Guinness great and the atmosphere just the best! Definitely recommend!

Had the most wonderful time on Friday night, celebrating a birthday with some friends after a movie. Staff were so lovely and welcoming, and were happy to chat. Cocktails and drinks were on point, like the other times I was here. And the atmosphere was lovely - none of us wanted to leave! Such a unique bar and always a pleasure to stay.

Celebrated my birthday in The Cotton Club ( upstairs room). Staff were amazing and decor requires no additions for a party atmosphere. New management are very warm and welcoming!

My fiancé and I had our engagement party at at Antique bar and it was fantastic. All our guests commented on the high quality food and drink. The atmosphere was lovely and the space was more than adequate. Sam, Jess and the rest of the staff were all lovely too. The best thing was the incredibly competitive pricing which allowed us to have an amazing event that we otherwise may not have been able to have.

Great atmosphere, with lovely little old world touches with the decor. Nice little rooms and nooks for intimate gatherings. Drinks list is very comprehensive with reasonable prices and great range of drinks, plus some nice nibbles to accompany the drinks. Very friendly and attentive service too.

Antique bar is an amazing experience. Especially for a girls night very accomodating. The drinks are delicious but the service exceeded all expectations. The biggest should out to Brodie & Aaron for the suggestions, recommendations and his service. We will be back. He is brilliant but this place is spectacular.

Incredible little hidden gem. Don't let the front shock you, explore deeper into the beautiful decor and discover your perfect spot to unwind and relax. Friendly staff, great communication and polite with a decent list of drinks on tap and menu goes well with a few beverages.

One of my favourite places. I love the atmosphere. Some parts, especially the little back room, remind me of an exclusive club where secret business deals are conducted over a snifter of Cognac. During winter, they offer a mulled wine, which is delicious and this year are now offering a mulled ginger beer too, which is just as delicious. There is always a small but interesting selection of craft beers on tap, along with a large selection of bottled beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. If you have never been, do yourself a favour and give it a go.

Great atmosphere, nice drinks. Upstairs event venue great too, can get a bit noisy if packed with people. Bartender's had a tough time keeping up at the start of the night but later was more like pacing our drinking.

Antique Bar is such a cute little place! The decor and vibe is so intriguing. Couches were super cool and comfortable, almost felt like I was being transported back in time. Delicious cocktails for sure! Mulled wine was also perfect for the cold weather. Can't wait to come back!

If you're looking for a fun night out or even just a drink with a friend, this bar is the place to go. The service is amazing with staff going above and beyond. Drinks were quick even though the night was busy. And the drinks were amazing. You have to try the apple crumble cocktail! They also cater to non drinkers so you can have the same cocktails made with alcohol-free spirits. By far one of the best bars in Melbourne.

Great atmosphere. “Interesting” waiter (they call him Tim), a cosy corner booked for 6 of us after a filling meal up the road at the Umbrella Lounge. Great cocktail selection. The standouts had to be the cheesecake, and the Gingerbread. The place was buzzing late into the evening. Handy access from the city via tram, and back home by train.

A nice surprise to find rhis place in Elsterwick. A great bunch of young, eager staff. Very funky design of rooms throughout. Happy Hr was busy, great selection of 🍸 & 🍷🍺. Other than a technical issue on payment it was a great experience.
