Great place to spend quality time with family and friends. You have a sports bar as well as an all you can eat buffet spread for just 35 bucks. It's spacious and had ample space for car parking. Highly recommended place to visit in Glen Waverley.

We went to the Feast and had a great time with a large group (18). They were very accommodating, and payment was super easy. It's not crazy cheap, and the food is very much banquet style, simple eating. Lots of options - soups, Asian, Indian, Italian, roasts, Mexican (+ more), a large dessert and salad/seafood bar (the highlight - so many prawns!). As with many banquet style places, the quantity of food trumps the quality - lots of choice but few choice options. The service was excellent by all the staff. It's a great play area for the kids, too. One claw machine is a 'guarantee to win a prize' one, and those are great for young kids. There's a slide and climbing area and separate options for bigger and little kids. I think the marketing suggests a slightly more upscale venue, so the reality of this perfectly good banquet hall lost some of its sheen (in my opinion) as a result. No complaints at all. It just doesn't have particularly high-quality food or an endearing atmosphere (not that it needs to! I think it's successfully meeting its objective as an all-you-can-eat venue). The food is clearly prepared well and replenished often.

Very nice ambience. Reasonably priced drinks. Didn't ordered any food. Was there to catch up with some friends. Staff was really friendly.

You have to go a long way in Melbourne to find a place that can ruin a Parmigiana so badly. At our table we Christened it - The Porridge Parmigiana. The only thing more disappointing about it was the confusion and indifference of the staff dealing with our feedback. It was Saturday night, every other table in the restaurant was empty. We could see why. If there was a chef in the kitchen - and the signs are there wasn't - they should be sent home and asked never to return.

The staff just don't care. Asked at the 'all you can eat' seafood buffet what other foods are served besides seafood and the waitstaff replys with 'well we also have calamari'...... the gaming area is happy to serve flat soft drink. The sports bars service was short and inattentive and the meals we got fish and chips, parma and onion rings were all super oily and pretty flavorless. The chips were ok 👍 It's a nice big place to catch up in... just don't eat here and watch out for bla attitudes 😒 and flat soft drinks.

We were there to celebrate 4 birthdays for the seniors with the buffet lunch at Village. The price is reasonable, the service at the reception is friendly with a smile. There were 12 of us. Food was fresh and delicious.... seafood, meats, .... the whole presentation was well done.... including the desserts !! We had a great day..... thanks also for the constant table services. We'll come again.... 👍😍🤗

I’d say exceeded expectations. Food was good, buffet was fun, kids loved the selection, and desert bar, I had heaps to eat and enjoyed the seafood. I’ll be coming back, it was good value. Thanks

We had a 2hr session to catch up with friends. Smoking area available and a children's playground. The food was amazing. For my visit we had only pumpkin soup. Good place to book in for buffet for any occasion.

80th birthday, family went with an all you can eat option. Not many people there which was a plus. But the food was terrible, roast meat was dry and cold. In fact almost everything that should be hot was at best Luke warm. Quality was also poor; lasagne was straight from the Coles ready to cook range, pasta was continental pasta and source. Suspect most of the food was a veteran of the last few days all you eat events. Even the jam donuts, cold and oily as they were - had a fishy taste to it, like it was cooked in the same oil as the battered fish. I did not test the seafood, I did not have the courage...

This shopping arcade situated in the suburbs of Melbourne that offers a diverse range of shops and booths for visitors to explore. Additionally, there are pubs available in the area for those who may want to take a break and enjoy a drink. Overall, the shopping arcade provides a great opportunity for people to shop and socialize in a convenient location.

Booked for a table of 8 today, and did we 8. Price was well below what I expected to pay. The young man that took payment was a top bloke, very impressed. The food was plentiful and had a large variety. The place wasn't over crowded and had plenty of parking. Aircon was perfect for a 33c day. I'll be BACK

Visited the feast buffet with my family for dinner. The food selection was very diverse and well prepared. though admittedly the entry price for adults was a bit steep. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful making for a wonderful dining experience. Shout out to Vithy, Patrick and Brooke for this!😊

The Cabaret room at Village Green Hotel had 22 tables and 220 guests for a netball club end of year celebration. The buffet food was reasonably priced and tasty. The venue coordinator was easy to work with. The room had 2 x wireless microphones, lectern and projector. The speakers in the room connected wirelessly (via Bluetooth). I would recommend hiring this venue for community group functions.

This is not a go at staff. They were severely understaffed for a big event. Food came in dribbs and drabs , incorrect items as well. Not great quality. Photo is of 2 porterhouses in comparison. Both meant to be medium. Tap n order list had items that they never stock and took ages to deliver. Not recommend.

This place is fantastic. The food is all you can eat, a lot of choice for adults and children and extremely well priced. I highly recommend it for a family dinner out.

I was there late afternoon and decided to stay for dinner , l wish l had of thought about that a bit longer , in the all you can eat section , the pricing was way too much for what they had to offer $44 for one adult . Wh n they showed me to my table it had knives, forks and serviettes but there was one problem they had nor wiped the able from previous people , that turned my stomach . I went and got some food cause l was starving and sat down starting eating , and let me just say l will not be going back again. Nothing was hot , it was dry and just horrible for $44 per adult. They need to be taught some hygiene and food safety skills . Honestly l could not even recommend any dishes .

Our group of 5 girls just had a buffet lunch at the Village Green Hotel. The food was plenty and delicious. Especially we were attended by lovely Jane who was so very welcoming and attentive. Definitely a 5-star experience in atmosphere, food quality and customer service.

This is our first trip to Australia, and we're staying near the Village Green. We decided to have a bite here, and were pleasantly greeted by friendly staff! We had a cute server named Vithy helping us out with drinks, and made sure we felt at home. 5/5, good food and great staff!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. 1 particular staff member was incredibly rude, stood at the bar to order a drink and was ignored for 5 minutes. Food quality was absolutely disgusting and extremely over priced.

  • 1/5 Olga D. 5 months ago on Google
The food is over cooked slops with absolutely no flavour. If the food was as good as the lovely wait staff I'd recommend going there. Very nasty meals at the buffet. We spent minimum minus our drinks $128, cheap buffet for 4 people. Our fault, we should have known! We all tried a bit of almost everything..all inedible. What did you expect us to do, call for the manager and ask for all meals to be cooked again? You know you are using poor quality ingredients and canned or frozen produce. Then you pretend you'd address the problem...yes you continue to serve more pig slops. 12 months ago it wasn't bad. Your respect for customers is zero. There is no care whatsoever. It's all about making as much as you can before the business has to close down. Andthe way it's going...it will close down as word gets out.

The village Green is a nice venue, but unfortunately the food at Feast was disappointing and underwhelming. The food was either bland, or dry and didn't seem that fresh. I was surprised that an all you can eat venue didn't have the usual cutlery boxes where you can get fresh cutlery and the same was either napkins. You only got the cutlery and a napkin at your table. I was surprised at the difference between this Feast venue as compared to Ferntree gully and Manhattan, where the food is excellent at both those places, plus unlimited cutlery and napkins are in supply.

Ample parking. Entry we had to queue up. But moved reasonably ok. Buffet was good. Variety. Plenty of space. Once in do not feel crowded or restricted.

We are currently trying all pubs that are child friendly. I would have to say that the service was good and garlic bread. Apart from that was probably one of the worst meals we have had. Seems like this place needs some work.

Went as a family group, kids liked the playground and kids fare... adults were disappointed - the Sweet and sour was neither sweet nor sour; pumpkin soup not exciting; and other dishes lacked taste... Sweets were fine but please check the taste of dishes as it was a shame to waste so much.

Came here for lunch. Group of 6 adults and 3 toddlers. Service was hard to find. Ended up using the Q code to order. Menu was standard pub. Good options for Seniors and Kids. Food came out in a timely manner and was very nice. Kids enjoyed the play area.

My husband and I went for Orthodox Christmas lunch as my mother in law and Father in law loved going there for Christmas my mother in law past away so for her memory we decided to go for lunch. The receptionist JANE was very rude and put us near the toilet because we didn't have a booking but 80% of the room was empty. We were there at 11.45 and left at 12.45 and the room was stiff empty...She even asked me if I was an Adult and was very rude. We will not be going there any more.We spoke to Bec the manager and she was very nice and understanding and the waitress Arunie was very nice... I hope no one else will be treated this way..Which we didn't understand if it was fully booked and the lunch was between 11.30 and 1pm where were all the people surly not everyone cancelled

Had the feast buffet lunch with a friend today . We were at the first sitting & the food looked very nice, plenty of it as well. Unfortunately everything was cold so our enjoyment was somewhat diluted. Such a shame as the waitresses were great & the venue is nice & clean plus the location is very convenient. Sadly I don’t think we will go back after today’s disappointment

Have visited the village green numerous times. Restaurant and buffet. Today (public holiday) the buffet was amazing. Highly recommend. On regular non public holiday days the buffet is more average but also less expensive.. The restaurant makes nice parmas. Has a nice family friendly environment in the buffet.. Will be back soon.

We had a large group of over 60 people for a 50th wedding anniversary gathering at the Village Green Feast Buffet. Bek and Taylor, in particular, were wonderful. The manager, Mel, was super pleasant and understanding when we were a little slow leaving at the end of the evening, too. There was a nice variety of food and the staff were hospitable, accommodating to our group and needs and we couldn't have had a more pleasant evening! Thank you all very much for helping to make our experience a very special one!

Always love the selection at this place. Have been going here for years however I feel like most of the two hours especially in the first sitting (5 30-7 30pm) is spent in queueing up, at the door & for the food. Is there any possibility of opening at 4 30pm so we are actually eating at 5pm?

  • 5/5 Sonya T. 1 year ago on Google
Great selection of food and desserts 👍🏼 Toilets are in bad need of updating, seats dont fit the pans and no soap in any of the 3 soap holders also could be alot cleaner. I think if spoons can be left for customers to get themselves the same should be done with the knives and forks, I dont like using the same 1s numerous times.

This place has dropped in quality of food. The food i ordered was plain stale. No effort. It seems the quality has diminished over the yrs. It used to be reasonable for pub food but not now. The low quality has also ruined the atmosphere here. Very disappointed

Our two families and friends group met up there for dinner at the buffet eat all you can! The food was finger licking great, the variety incredible, the waiters so clean and polite and prompt. The drinks great and reasonably priced. We had such a great time, great meal, everyone was so happy with their order, the crayfish was to die for! The cakes and desserts were also mouth wateringly tasty! It was our first time but certainly won't be our last! Amazing job Village Green!

Went for my birthday, the staff were fabulous, the atmosphere was fantastic, clean and new but the food was SO bad we couldn't finish a plate and that's if there was any food to have. Soup was thick and not enough to line the bottom of the bowl. Roasts were dried out, No veges left apart from gluggy cauliflower and broccoli, Ice cream machine had run out. Food was picked over.

Went to the Village Green for the buffet and it was pretty good. A large assortment of different foods from finger foods to ribs, prawns and muscles in marinade. Nice desserts also. Worthwhile for the price of $35 per head. The game area is awesome for my toddler and the arcade machine was free to use. Will definitely go again although next time I'll be more aware of the session time to not take my time eating as you are asked to leave when the next session is incoming!

Had a great experience at Babba however it would have been 100% better if the venue allowed room for the crowd to dance as that's what we all came there for. However it was a great show

It was very slow getting in we had 2 hours to sit and eat but it started from the time the doors opened not from the time we paid The line was long for food also Made it hard to be able to feed children and ourselves 6 children, 3 under 3, and the others 10, 8 and 6 all needing supervision, 5 adults and we still struggled to get everyone fed in time. Bring in a system so that you can come in, sit, eat and enjoy yourself. Don't even get me started on the 1 person operated bar. Good was OK Fresh stuff kept coming out and staff were really good at clang up food stations and tables They were also very polite Unless the timing thing changed I wouldn't go back again

We never knew we were so nearby to a buffet with such a great selection of food, which even managed to accommodate for my youngest who is a very picky eater! Our first experience to the Village Green was accommodated by the delightful Vithy who served us at the front desk, bar and provided table service! He was assisted by Angie and Coraline, a team of superstars!! Will definitely be visiting again soon!
