Me, family, friends have been going to this RSL for years. Celebrating milestones and birthdays. I love the food, entertainment and atmosphere but tonight i had a very bad experience w/ a Senior Staff. A lady in particular. Very rude, and abrupt. My auntie celebrated her bday tonight and this particular staff had the seating arrangement on her hand. We booked for 33 people but she insisted we were overbooked. She grabbed a chair from our table and infact snatched it of from my sister’s hand. Staff was saying overbooking is not allowed angrily and we tried to explain that we weren’t overbooked and suggested to do a head count. We were right that we weren’t overbooked but she already spoiled my night from this incident. Staff never apologized and to top it off she called a junior staff member rudely calling her Hoy! Hoy! Hoy! You need to call people by their names properly not by a name if convenience. I am very disappointed w/ this staffs demeanour and i am having second thoughts of coming back to this place again.

The place was packed on a Wednesday night. Lots of people eating. Friendly staff, affordable prices and huge servings.

Family & Casual atmosphere. Nice place for a heartwarming lunch or dinner at a reasonable price. We attended the Thursday $20 Buffet Dinner. Delicious and well presented Indian curries, offering vegetarian options as well and great variety of beef, goat & lamb dishes. Real value for money. Staff is very friendly and willing to assist.

Would like to see the bistro carry a milk other than cows milk for hot drinks. I asked for soy and almond milks and they had neither. There should be a dairy free choice offered to customers. Will return. The food and service is good.

Dinner was on the cards since we had not been during lockdown. Steak was the order with a bottle of a fine St. Hallett's Shiraz. The steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious with an open grill flavour. The oysters natural were plump and fresh. The bonus was the entertainment and dancing! An average night out for pub grub turned into a great evening. This place always gives us a surprise! And Tuesday's Parma & Pot is also a hit. Good size and lots of flavour. The Bistro is our favourite on any night!

Great food and lots of choice. Price amazing and steaks are delicious average price for a Steak is $20 tender as. Drinks are Cheap too pot of beer for members $4.50Can't beat the Rsl's for value for money! Started May 2022 Wed night Tbone steak and buy a pot get one free $15. Bargin and delicious. Parma and Pot night Tuesdays.

Have a good $20 meal with wine for lunch! The Lamb shrank is tasteful. Also, I attend Christmas music melody for $25 inc meal. The singers are good but the main meal is too much for senior to eat. I prefer a senior meal size for lunch. Great relaxed environment with good service. Return to RSL after New Year, I ordered a porterhouse steak. The meat is very tough and difficult to chew. Hence, a star is deducted.

Had a great meal and experience at this RSL. Liz was so kind and welcoming and provided outstanding service and advice regarding menu choices. We had the 350 gram t-bone and the barramundi, both dishes very cooked perfectly and were very delicious and so reasonably priced. Will be back for sure to sign up as a member. Great service, friendly staff and atmosphere. Keep up the great work RSL staff 👍

Great selection of yummy foods at reasonable prices. Special prices for Seniors. Special dishes for tradies at $20. Large airy venue. Very popular with RSL groups from regional Victoria.

Miss this place, delicious food with great value, always fully booked. We love the Chicken Parma and steak here.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Food was delirious and great variety. Service was great and the staff were very friendly. Great place for a Saturday lunch.

This is a great little quiet place to have a drink or play the pokies. Is tucked out of the way and doesn't attract a large crowd so is good for nice quiet atmosphere...

It was a catch up dinner with the girls and it was a fun night. I had the chef's pick which was the reef and beef. It consisted of 1/2 lobster mornay with eye fillet and you can add your choice of sides and sauce. I added mushroom sauce with salad and chips. The eye fillet was cooked to perfection and the lobster mornay melted in your mouth and it was great value of $42. Great atmosphere,friendly staff and you get entertainment. Next time I will try the seafood platter for 2. Also there's plenty of parking.

If you’re looking for value for money, Springvale RSL is a must visit! Great range of food and steaks. Quantity wise they do not hold back so be sure to be full from your meal. Not the best tasting and quality when it comes to food however, for the price and quantity it’s amazing. They do sometimes have lunch time deals and dinner deals on certain days which makes this place even better in terms of value for money!

Love coming to this place! The staff here are friendly and always welcoming. The meals are not only cheap but the portions are also very generous. I highly recommend coming here with mates and or family.

Food itself is high volume but not high quality Presentation and portion vs. spending is amazing (you’ll get a lot, for cheaper) The oysters on the seafood platters definitely aren’t fresh If you’re an oyster lover that would disappoint Prawns were okay but not great Everything else was good

Good food at great prices.

Pretty poor for my first time here despite some good reviews from a friend of mine. Paying $10 fee to enter for a meal is something unheard of by me, taking 20 minutes to tell me what I have ordered is unavailable and then being forced to choose an alternative I didn't want as I had to choose another main. Appetite is ruined now tbh, nor sure the meal will make up for it.

first time to go to dine at this RSL. very nice service and meals are large serving, great price and great value compared to others... definitely would go again to try different meals.. it was delicious.,

Wow what a night. Went there on Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised. Food was very reasonably priced and very well cooked. The hostess, Liz couldn’t do more for us. Will be going back again. Thank you

Great vaule as well as super tasting food. Staff were very friendly. Definitely worth checking it out. It's cheaper than the closest RSL. The meals were really good sizes.

Went on a Thursday night for American night and they didn’t have any ribs for an 6.30pm sitting! Also as getting dessert, the banana fritter batter wasn’t together in one piece. The porterhouse was extremely chewy. All up is was absolutely disgusting.

Always a good night with great meals, friendly staff and free entertainment Friday and Saturday nights, except for when they have special guests.

Had a very satisfactory experience at this bistro. It started with a very helpful staff member, Liz, giving us (4 friends) a warm welcome and menu suggestions as we were " new" to this RSL club. We had a fantastic, tasty meal and were more than satisfied at the conclusion. Two of us even became members here for a mere $10 for a year's membership. This ensures many happy returns.

Best RSL on this planet. Puts all the others to a standard of rabde & quality others can never March. Open 7 days a week 9:30am to 1am 100/100

What an awesome evening here on Thursday night. Springvale RSL has a theme night, and this one was an American BBQ meal. What a yummy selection on the menu. My suggestion to you all is to book in and go along for a family meal you certainly won't be leaving there hungry.

I regret not taking photos I was there for t bone steak night Wednesday 31-1 and I can only say the meat was shocking bad I ordered it medium cooked but come out raw it was tough could not cut it with a steak knife and the y bone was missing the eye filled part. Will never go again not bother people.

3 handfuls of salad mix, 2 pieces of a sliced button mushroom, 4 pieces of diced pumpkin as small as a thumbnail, onion and sliced raw capsicum. They called this a “Roasted Vegetable Salad” Very Very Disappointed how can you serve this to anyone and call it a MEAL!! Hubby ordered a Steak was supposed to be T bone was the cheapest cut in Melbourne just Awful. On top of paying for these so called meals they now charge you $5:00 a Head to walk in the door - FOR WHAT😡😡😡 Didn’t deserve the one star
