The meal I ordered from here was fantastic and value for money. The staff & the level of service is second to none. The restaurant is very clean, inviting and the atmosphere is warm and friendly

Visited this place on Friday, and it was packed. One of our mates had a booking, and we were seated downstairs where the live band is. W ordered food immediately as the crowd was getting bigger and bigger. The price was reasonable and tasty. I had the porterhouse steak with chips ( 150g and cooked perfectly medium rare) whilst my wife had the catch of the day - grilled barramundi with steam veggies. She loved it. Portion of each serving was generous for the price. Will be back to try other options.

Top notch bistro meals! Granted, we probably ordered the most popular items on the menu, and glad to say they did not disappoint. Started off with an order of cheesy bread (that is, melted cheese on a lovely toasted roll cut in half), and that fills you up quite a bit to start with! In the photo there are only 2 bits of bread, but we had eaten the other 2 bits already before we took the photo. If I was to try hard just to find something to nit-pick about, maybe I didn't get enough thick cut chips with my chicken parma? But have a look at the photo, and you be the judge. The chicken caesar salad was also delicious, and we paired it with extra chicken tenders. Thanks Dandy Club - you served us well tonight. Great food, great service, will be back.

I am so sorry I have renewed my membership. 2nd year, NYE planning is hopeless entertainment and the bistro is Senior unfriendly. The standard menu is small in choices and the seniors meals are small in quantity. Perhaps buffet nights should be introduced for a change.

BEAWARE WHEN MAKING A BOOKING Communication is not their strong point here. Had to cancel an event as the bowls shop can't communicate properly.

Went for lunch during a week day without much expectation. Was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. Quite a wide variety of dishes to choose from and not just the standard pub or club style fare. This was matched with enthusiastic and friendly young staff. When the food came we were blown away by the quality ingredients and tasty food. I ate the paella which was absolutely delicious. Other members of our party ate the lamb curry and barramundi which were equally well presented. The prices were also very reasonable

This place has an excellent undercover bowling green. There's also another outdoor green as well. There's bars, dining areas, and gambling rooms.

Very nice venue .open till 1am .with seniors meals pokes . & bar. Large menu selection with reasonable pricing .iD needed on entry .

It was my first time visiting this venue I was pleasantly surprised with the great service and staff. The roast I ordered came quickly and was delicious. The venue was clean and well presented. I shall be returning to this venue again.

Been here a few times and the service and cleanliness of the facility is excellent , there is so much to offer here , the senior meals offered are great value Very hard to fault

The catch of the day was lovely. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The band (Regular Boys) was absolutely fantastic. I recommend this establishment for the older crowd.

If you want a really good meal at a good price.... go somewhere else, anywhere else. My wife and I had lunch there today and what a disappointment. We are both seniors but the senior menu did not have one vegetarian or vegan meal. We ordered vegetarian burgers and chips from the main menu and they were awful, tasteless burgers, limp salad and the chips were over cooked and oily. Not going there again, horrible.

I recently hosted an international Women's day event for about 140 guests. The club decorated the tables in IWD colours and provided excellent food with seamless service at a very reasonable price. They were very accommodating on dietary requierments and everyone raved about the desserts. I can highly recommend this location for a function

Attended a birthday were very squashed in with another birthday group in the same room no space between our chairs making it hard to enjoy you meal. Meals were very enjoyable great value and polite staff

I love the Dandenong Club Great Food,Music and dancing.... specially on Friday nights. Get on down and make some great new friendships plus try lawn bowling on the biggest green in the southern hemisphere.

We had a Surprise 70th birthday, with a small group (28) in the Napoleon Room. Dean / Maria & Frazer were fantastic. Food was delicious, Great night all round. So if your looking for a nice place to hold your event. I couldn't recommend D'nong Club highly enough. Definetely 5 Stars from our group.

Great place to enjoy a steak lunch in the bar area on Monday's. Today (22/08/22) I was dished up the toughest steak I have ever had (at table 61). It even bent my fork when trying to cut it with the steak knife. 90% of the steak was uneatable and left on my plate. I will be giving the Dandenong Club a break for awhile. Surely the club should be considering changing their butcher! 1 Star for this meal is generous.

3 of us for Sunday lunch (18th Sept 2022), while my parents meals were nice, I opted for the 'roast of the day' Roast beef... the vegetables were yummy, fresh, crunchy and cooked just the way I like them, however the beef was tough and bland. Slightly disappointed with my lunch however overall not bad. I would also like to add that the service was also very good and meals were all reasonably priced.

Big thank you to the Dandenong club for providing a private room for us to have an Orange Sky laundry service meeting and dinner tonight. The food and service were excellent and we greatly appreciate the special treatment we were given.

Members lounge for HOG AGM. Food service is incredibly slow with some people waiting near 2 hours for their meals. Meals are well below standard with serving sizes a tad on the small side. Probably a good idea to eat elsewhere prior to visiting.

Warm and friendly staff, meals cooked quickly, complimentary bread roll, tasty and fresh meals, comfortable seating. What's not to like? 🥰

Bistro staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful and looked after us well. Food was pub grub and was nice and fresh. Pokies are terrible, there is barely enough room to walk past with the machines and large chairs leaving little room to move between machines.

We came for dinner on Sunday ordered 3 porterhouses sent one back wasnt cooked they way l asked. Complained about it so we got another one which l have to say all 3 were full of grizzle. We have coming here for years and found it rather disappointing. Write a review and no response. We wont be back. Seniors should be everynight not just selected nights

The greeter at the front desk has a bad attitude and is not welcoming at all. We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant the staff were great and the food was lovely but we won't be back
