Although rivers edge looks nice it really isn’t suitable for events. The sound acoustics in particular is the issue, as they have concrete floors the sounds bounce off the floors and it was so loud every one had to yell to one another you couldn’t speak in a group setting as it was so loud that you could only speak directly in one person ear. It was not the music being loud it was definitely the sound acoustics of the place. As events are all about connecting and speaking with people it kind of seems counterintuitive. In terms of service all of that was great no issues there.

Great place for a conference/seminar. Excellent service and the food was good too.

There for a work function. Sound system playing up for us but probably not this place fault. Everything clean, food was great. Incredibly high prices. 12 bucks for a furphy is insane

Ella made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it on the day. Rivers Edge was the perfect venue for our intimate wedding reception! The views of the river and city lights were amazing. We captured really beautiful sunset photos. We’re so glad we chose River’s Edge Events for our wedding!!

We had our sit down wedding at River's Edge on the 5th of August and we had such an amazing experience. The venue and the view was stunning and was such a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception indoors and the team were able to completely transform the room from ceremony space to beautiful reception in about an hour. The food was incredible quality. We thought everything they put out was restaurant quality and our guests also had many compliments. A special thank you for Mariana for answering all of my emails and texts and executing my vision and thank you to Ella for being so calming and helpful throughout the day. You both made sure the day ran smoothly and we are so grateful to be able to just sit back and enjoy the evening.

I recently had my cocktail style wedding at River’s Edge and my husband and I could not be happier with our decision of choosing this beautiful, modern and minimalist venue. Our Event Coordinator Mariana was AMAZING! She was super flexible and supportive, accommodating a number of special requests, such as a pizza station (not on their usual menu), and allowed us to DIY our styling, which played a huge role in helping us keep to budget. Mariana went above and beyond what we had expected, and we are so grateful for her support. On the day we were blown away with Mariana and Ella’s (second Event Coordinator) ability to magically appear right when we needed them! They had the perfect balance of presence, and we were able to enjoy our night, trusting everything was taken care of. Many of our family and friends have commented on how wonderful the staff were and how great the food was, not to mention the view! Thank you Mariana, Ella and the team at River’s Edge. We are so grateful and could not recommend you more highly.

We had our sit down style wedding at River's on Sat 20th May, and we couldn't be happier with the venue and staff service. The food was delicious and the night ran smoothly with no issues at all. Massive thanks to Mariana and event coordinator Chris for all of your hard work and assistance. The venue looked stunning and we had lots of positive comments from guests.

River's Edge is a beautiful location. Our seminar day went off without a hitch. All of our clients loved the food, location and the staff. Thank you to all the team involved we could not be happier.

Had a fantastic night here for my wife’s cousins wedding. Food was delicious & the staff were very attentive & looked after my wife who is vegetarian superbly. Great venue as well overlooking the river & Southbank

We were at a function here for a high tea $85 a head and for a table of 10 we received one very small 3 teer platter it was a disgrace what was served The scones were not scones but a dried up tiny biscuit with jam and cream The very small square sandwiche which was 1 per person and tiny tartlets were not good at all x A high tea with hardly any delicacies at all x if ur offering a high tea do it properly and not serve a platter that really is for 2 people xxx

huge mirrored colums break up the room makes it feel disjointed. drink service extremely slow and very small amont poured so constantly looking for staff to fill your glass. food was good but wouldnt recommended. Sorry

Location is few mins from southern cross station easy access to river, near crown and heart of city. Inside the venue is A grade and its great for corporate events.

Great location and easy to park. Food was sub standard at the function on 3rd July.

Great views outside, but who has a "events centre" set up so guests can't see the event, because of giant pillars in the way. Also have major OH&S issues with service staff. Hello Dylan my OH&S concern was around the Tea and Coffee service. The staff were balancing the cups on the tray, then it was filled by a staff member, then the staff member carrying the trays with cups now filled picked up Cups placed it on the saucer then grabbed the saucer to put on table whilst balancing tray above guests heads, it was a accident waiting to happen. Simply solution ask guest do they want Tea or Coffee, if answer is Yes put cups and saucer on table, then have cup filled on table, if it spills its on the table!! The way staff served it this night it was only luck they did not pour hot liquid all over guests.

By far, this venue is breathtaking in its expansive views of Melbourne city as it gains the most beautiful location along the Yarra River. The event space itself had a lot to offer from the large space to the floor to ceiling windows and the beautiful decor inside. The food was unbelievably wonderful and all our guests continued to comment on the high quality of the food. This venue definitely made my event a stand out and I was so impressed with how well the event coordinator organised and assisted in the planning and additionally, all the staff were lovely. I would highly recommend River's Edge for any event!! They truly left no room for error.

Had our wedding reception here straight after there renovations. Was originally worried our styling would not suit the new layout, turned out nothing needed to change and the venue looked amazing! All the staff catered to our needs including last minute changes and our manager for the evening Dylan went above and beyond to make sure our night was one to remember. Highly recommended. From my first interaction with Bianca I knew I was in the right hands. I struggled badly with covid and my previous venue closing . The overall experience was outstanding the food the staff the venue views I couldn’t of asked for more. Thank you Bianca and Ella and the whole team I am for ever grateful and I can honestly say I have received nothing but compliments.

Staff were very observant. Quite quiet really, trying to do that non existant thing to make sure it didn't interrupt our night. Food was lovely, more filling than I thought it would be. Lovely view and atmosphere

Hidden little gem! Great central location in Melbourne CBD. Venue facilities were great including the space, AV and staff were amazing! Everything that we asked for there were able to accommodate. Received great feedback from all our guests in attendance. Would consider going back to this space in the future.

Having my 60th birthday event at Rivers Egde Events was the best choice by far. The view of the Yarra River and the light and airy atmosphere were captivating. The communication throughout the whole process was exemplary. Mariana actually listened to my requests and understood my vision.. The food was of a very high standard and feedback from our guests in regards to venue, food and service was all positive. Ella also went above and beyond helping me with getting ready and was so attentive during the evening as was Mariana and Rudolpho.
