Thanks Mr Fox for a great exotic car display. Loved the Holden EH carshow on entry. The personnel attendants at the venue were informative and very polite. Took lots of photos and the venue itself was amazing. Great entertainment. Highly recommend the public visit. Would be great to see some popular older small Fords on display as there are some marvelous examples out there and people love them.

The Fox Classic Car Collection is worth visiting, even if you are not fascinated with rare or classic cars. The focus of the collection is on several prestige brands - Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Jaguar and Ferrari - and includes several rare and one-off vehicles, even by these makers' standards. The location of the collection does not have prominent signage, which may be an advantage as the collection does not seem to be crowded. The collection is open three days per week, so it is important to plan the timing of your visit ahead.

If you're into exotic and classic cars, then this is a MUST visit for locals as well as visitors to Melbourne. Over 60 beautiful and magnificent car's on display that are constantly updated, set in a unique heritage warehouse with easy access to all facilities and levels, and also very clean - and includes FREE on site car parking. And there's plenty of volunteers and car aficionados on hand to have a chat with too. Bravo Mr Lindsay Fox, and your a great Australian and humanitarian and a generous man 🦊 and thankyou for making these car's available and sharing your passion with the public. Allow an hour or two to take it all in, and all proceeds go to Charity. Very Highly recommended 👏👍😊

What a collection! Porsche, Ferrari and Mercedes are the bulk of the 50 or so cars on display, but every one is slightly or very different than the normal! Perfect for a quick visit. Can be done in less than 30 minutes. Free parking at the door!

Great collection of cars. A subset of cars are kept om exhibit and they keep changing the collection displayed. The volunteers at the place are very helpful and happy to explain more about the history each car. Great place to visit if you're interested in vintage/sports cars.

This is a wonderful collection of classic and exotic cars, housed inside a historic warehouse that has been lovingly restored, just like the cars. The attendants are very helpful and friendly, and are happy to discuss the cars with you. There's no cafe inside, but just across the road is Collins Square with a great food court. Well worth the small entry fee. Check the website for visiting times and directions.

If you love cars then this is the place to visit! It's a very clean venue with a great selection of cars on display (including a personal favourite, the Lexus LFA). The staff seemed nice too.

  • 5/5 Geoff A. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent collection of mostly European cars from rare recent models back through times to restored mid 19th century classics. Expect to see Porsches, Ferraris, Mercedes as well as several Ford GTs, a Godzilla racing Nissan and a restored Fox transport truck all housed in a building with its own fascinating history. The volunteers were very chatty and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit for all motoring enthusiasts.

A hidden gem. Some very rare cars with knowledgeable guides to fill you in.

  • 2/5 Warren S. 1 year ago on Google
Car Museum... sounds promising, but sadly 50% of it was a grotesque display of what excessive wealth can do, 8 various models of modern Porsche all custom ordered in a specific shade of blue, to colour match Lindsay's Grandson's watch! FFS. We limped our little 1966 original and imperfect corvette all the way to the city, we love her, we are preserving her and are super proud to drive her. A museum should showcase historical automotive gems, not be a platform to show off one mans ability to order every modern prestige car he wants in a monochromatic display of self importance. As a side note, nobody appreciates a lecture from volunteer staff member about how global warming is a load of s#*t.

  • 4/5 Finn B. 8 months ago on Google
Price was VERY reasonable and it is an impressive collection of cars. I was very pleased with the cars having rotated a bit since I was last there. Only downfall was that while the cars were relatively dust-free, chrome bumpers and other intricate areas seemed to be ignored during the cleaning process including tyre black not being applied thoroughly etc. This alongside some of the tyres seeming somewhat-deflated was a bit of a let down but the volunteers are very passionate and it was overall a good experience.

  • 5/5 David P. 7 months ago on Google
Probably the best collection of cars in Australia. They do rotate the collection, so the cars on display do change.
