Went there tonight (August 13th) for the Australia Garden History Society Victorian Branch AGM, followed by a lecture about Wardian Cases, very interesting. Nice comfortable Hall.

A museum of the plant world, looks like its been going a long time. Interesting especially if you have a green thumb with a like of history. Enjoyed and wished I studied a bit of Latin.

Visited for a lecture on what we learnt from Apollo 11. Organisers were very helpful. Although we were late to the lecture they still arranged seats and were very nice with us.

I frequently go there to meet my supervisor. It is not accessible for public, however you can visit this herbarium by booking the new "Garden Uncovered" tour by Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria.
