Koonung Creek Linear Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Just happened across this place, It’s quite possibly the best dog park in the state. Only 15 minutes drive from the CBD, rolling green hills, fenced on one side with bushland and a creek running through the middle, absolutely stunning. Hats off to the Boroondara / Manningham councils People often mention walk, creek,

Puppy friendly with a creek to walk along. Playground and seating available. Beware of bike traffic as some ride at speed.

Best place to take the dog off lead. Interesting undulations and near the creek for the dogs to splash around. Doing a full circle can be tricky due to overgrown section to the far west.

Great area to take your dogs. It's all off-lead up until the bike path. The vast grassy area runs right along the Eastern Fwy and is a running dog's paradise. Doggie can even swim in the creek, water quality permitting. Just remember to take along poo bags, pick up after your doggie and take the bags home with you!

I had only 1 hour left for work but I went here within that hour and the views, the peace it’s an amazing walk if you’re also an introvert or a person who’d love to read, paint, have a picnic, the summers unbearable, probably need a couple of water bottles but yeah its an awesome walk, they had some wild fruits named “Quince” which is pretty good for tarts I guess. It’s pretty amazing overall!

Some beautiful walking trails. Unfortunately, there aren't many bins, so there's a lot of rubbish between Station Street to Springvale Road.

I was going to Jells Park for a long Sunday walk with my dog, but then decided to walk through kooning creek park instead. It didn't disappoint with its beautiful natural parkland, winding creek, birds and ducks. Lots of friendly people enjoying along the way.
