An expansive park with a whole range of tracks and some great picnic spots. The tram is an undercover seating area and great for larger groups and picnics. There's a small park a various tracks including more hilly routes and several that were quite flat. Lots of birdlife here and ample shade on the walks from the tree cover. Good for running or taking the dog for a long walk!

Huge park! Great place to walk, run or cycle. Plenty of shade for the sunnier days and ample parking to be found. Quite hilly and has a few steeper slopes, so just make sure to watch your step. Lovely visit. Kookaburras here, too!

Wattle Park is a hidden gem in Burwood, Victoria. It has amazing views, historic features, native plants and animals, and lots of activities for kids. It is open every day from sunrise to sunset, and it is free to enter. Wattle Park is a great place to relax, play, or explore. Highly recommend!!!

Good large park to enjoy a walk in the eastern suburbs, some of the paths could be maintained a bit better though

It's been run down for so long but now, some great development. A new imaginative playground, pathways, seats and barbeques. The playground includes an earth mound with slides and climbing equipment. There's also a great water play area. Set in remnant and planted bushland with an oval and a golf course, it's a huge area. The grandkids love it. Great place to walk the dog (must stay on lead).

Very spacious, nice walking trails, couldn’t see many birds, but that’s probably because of my timing, was midday.

This park has a lot to offer. Whether one wants to play cricket on a newly built pitch or to experience running in the woods, this park is a must visit. Also, the 2 tram models parked there provide a unique touch to it while providing a vintage experience at the same time. It has got a golf course, tennis club and a wedding venue too.

Lovely place to take my toddler. He loves the old trams. Lots of space and not cramped in. Best to go during the week when it's quiet

Christmas lunch for two, sweet chilli prawns with honey, oysters with lemon sorbet followed by ham glazed with maple syrup, honey and grain mustard, BBQ chicken and a walnut, pear and blue cheese salad, what better place than Wattle Park. Perfect Aussie bush surrounds, a nice clean area and to share with the local native Aussie birds. Don't forget to take home your rubbish, no bins, no flies

I'm often here for relaxation and a brief walk. Park is well kept and quiet, it's on a hill, has paths and a sealed road. Playground is very popular for the young. Will be nicer when restoration of the trams is complete.

It's a spacious and lovely park that features historic buildings, picnic grounds and recreational facilities. It's an excellent location for a variety of activities with family and friends. The Chalet, which is situated next to the parking lot, is a popular venue for functions. There's also a playground for the kids next to the old trams which are sitting there. It's a great place to go during the day!

On a recent visit to Wattle Park we saw a board for a Cafe at the side of the Chalet. We went to the "cafe" a week later. The area looks like a service area for the Chalet. There were only 2 tables to sit at. Even though they had Iced Coffees they couldn't make an Iced Chocolate. 😢 The food on offer was 1 croissant 🥐and 1 muffin 🧁 Not enough food for the four of us. We had to get up and leave.

Good park for the family.. The old trams are fun for little ones. Downside is that the trams are full of empty beer bottles

A great park to take a walk, picnic, jogging, BBQing, you name it. It's got playground for children and a golf course next to it. You can host your wedding in the chalet here too.

Really enjoyed the park, but as it was 20°c it was ideal. I dread however, what it would be like in summer with no shade and metal slides! Please cover the park so it will be usable, as besides that, it was a lot of fun for everyone

One good thing to come out of lock down is that we have spent a bit more time finding places to go that are local to us. Wish we'd known about this park much earlier - lovely walk, fun play area for the kids, and old trams converted so you can have picnics in them. And even though there were quite a few people there, it did not really feel that busy because of the size of the park.

A great park, loads of tracks to choose from. Very easy walking and a good playground complete with old trams. A great place to visit to get away from it all in the middle of a leafy pretty neighbourhood.

Wattle Park is a great park for family gatherings, picnics etc. There is a bar be cue, a few tables with bench seats, a couple of old trams have been secured in the park for children to play on as well as other climbing equipment and a slide. At the moment - December/January - the park is very dry. I would love to visit again after some cooler, wetter weather. There is adequate parking, mostly in the shade and a couple of parking spacrs ate allocated for Disability Parking.

Still preserved as much as it were when first seen in 1967. Bit traffic noisier, but the Botanical growth reduces this a bit. Saw no tadpoles in creek, which might be out of season until later next year with Spring.

Nice park with heaps of nature all around. Unfortunately the kids playgrounds are closed at the moment because of covid restrictions but there are still trails around the park to walk. We saw kookaburras and lots of parrots. It's quite an enjoyable trip and definitely worth checking out.

Beautiful place from my childhood in the 1960s - 70s. Always remember the old tram and the playground. Sugary treats from the kiosk made our day and gave us headaches on the old school whizzy dizzy roundabout ?

Wattle park has it all - a chalet that has preserved its heritage, a fantastic circuit for hiking, kids' play areas, enough space for parking, decent bbq cooktops. However, a shed in the bbq area is badly needed ( the vintage tram carriage that is in place within the bbq area is crammed with tables making it difficult for multiple groups to take refuge while it's raining outside or when it's a hot day and visitors are willing to have a break from the unforgiving sun).
