A pleasant walk with undulating terrain off the western side of Union Road and a beautiful winding waterway, it appeared there were lots of foreign weeds choking parts of the waterway and a community working bee would be required to address the problem. South of Riversdale Road the vegetation included some gorgeous wattles and appeared to be better maintained than north of Riversdale Road.

I really do like this park. It's a good place to go chill, read a book or just have a look around. My brother and I also partake in the 'Friends of South Surrey Park' which I find is a great way to really connect with nature and the community for all ages.

Sat and had a picnic under my 94 yo grandmothers fav tree : a corimbia that is over 400 years old. Imagining humans gathering under this tree pre white invasion.

Fantastic park with open grassy areas and regions of native trees, shrubs and bushes. A good path network provides good access and walking. Back Creek is open. Highly recommended.

Love this park - I always walk my aunt's dog here when visiting - a tranquil and calming area for me Found this picture on a Melbourne forum of Riversdale Road Camberwell VIC from 1975 and thought maybe people will enjoy seeing a picture of our beautiful city from before Google maps was around

Part of a very nice nature trail that you can walk from Riversdale Road to Lynden Park beside a creek for part of the way.

Nice little pocket park in a quiet location. Wondering why though that there are two "child lock" gates on the main road, but nothing to stop kids accessing the road through an open entrance at the Northern end??

Great play area with well spaced out equipment so it doesn’t feel too crowded. Maybe a little tricky to get onto the play area with a pushchair (only one entry point). Really nice walking routes around the rest of the park with decent paths and quite a few steep hills. Very picturesque and relaxing.

The park is a very large area of green in Box Hill that started life as a quarry and brick works. You cannot miss it as you drive Canterbury Road to the city and cross Elgar Road. The brick works were purchased by the Council in 1904 and the area became the park and the hole the Surrey Dive. Today it is a great expanse of green, a sporting field and a swimming complex plus a kids playground and a few other areaqs worth a visit.
