This is what they call a park . Well it’s not really it’s a few paddocks with.a bike trail though it . However it’s a great bike trail goes to Research one way and the city the other way . If you turn off the track next close to the river their are great mountain bike tracks

Great place to walk or ride. Dog friendly off lead as long as they stay off conservation area which is fenced (just watch the gap under the gate). Be careful of snakes in summer if you stay away from the water and keep to the path shouldn't be a problem. If you're lucky you might see some kangaroos!

Awesome windy single-track for those adventurous enough and great gravel trails for those looking to cruise.

Enjoyable walking and cycling track along the river which connects the main Yarra trail with the track that goes towards Heidelberg. Kangaroos can be spotted close to horses in the paddock.

Nice bush setting close to the Yarra River with billabongs and some walking and mountain biking tracks. The Main Yarra Trail (shared bike and pedestrian) traverses the park following the river

Parks and wildlife need to do a lot of weed clearing. The part of the park I visited was an overgrown mess. This, plus a derelict toilet block and very poor signage makes me recommend you to go somewhere else.

Fantastic park with a picturesque trail along Yarra. Unfortunately it was recently inundated during the Victorian floods.

Bike paths and stuff

What a surprise.. Cannot believe that this is just in Heidelberg first time visitor had a great walk along the Yarra. Lots of options for bike tracks, walking tracks. Would be a lovely spot to have a picnic. Definitely coming back here to do more walking and exploring..

As Doncaster is very hilly, this athletic track is a great place to do my morning runs 🏃‍♀️

Sehr schöne Wanderung, teilweise entlang des Yarra Flusses. Für Kinder geeignet. Allerdings schmale Wege die man nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Mountainbike erforschen kann.

Park is basically undeveloped, covers a vast area. Is very popular with cyclists as it links with bike paths. Park was effected by flooding, much of which remains. Isn't as well maintained as it once was but still enjoyable.

Quiet and tranquil place for a walk in Ivanhoe

Not very well maintained. Good jogging and cycling track though. I did not see any cooking place or bbque

A really nice and not too busy dog off lead park. Great to feel that you're a tiny bit off the beaten track.

Loved the birds, there sadly wasnt much space to sit around the water and take it in. Overall... beautiful, peaceful and everyone using the park seemed very respectful of each other

Come for the Kangas and horses!

Gateway to the trails. I was surprised at how beautiful this area was and how easy it was to access the Yarra trails from here.

Great cycle path

I answer this as a location for some single track mountain bike riding. There are quite a few trails along the river which of you keep your eyes out for provide a great ride. Pretty flat and not to many technical things, but great fun and so close for the venture of town. A pity there aren't more of these around inner city Melbourne.

Nice lots of pathways trees and sun good flat walk for the most of it and not too far from town

Great parkland, great for walking the dogs.

Very nice walk along the Yarra, can't say the same for the river itself though.

Wonderful local area of the Main Yarra Trail. Very popular link between the city of Melbourne and the outer north east.

Great track although maybe the need a separate lane for walkers and 🚲 riders
