Warringal Parklands

Tourist attraction β€’ Park

πŸ‘ Fun place for a walk with the dogs. They get pretty muddy in the puddles, or wet if they take a swim in the creek, so bring a towel or two along. There is sometimes football on at the oval. There is a small carpark, and parking into he nearby streets. People often mention walk, Great, Beautiful, playground, bike,

Well established parkland situated on old market gardens from the late 1800s.Used by both cricket and footy clubs. Children's playground has good equipment and also flying foxes. Some old apple and pear trees survive.

This parkland has really grown into a perfect spot to run, walk, cycle or just relax. It was a favourite place to visit as a child, many years ago but now its 100 times better!

Good little spot that had no one there, plenty of people at the playground but still plenty of space for private picnic groups

This is a lovely place to just sit and enjoy the Yarra running bye. The bushland and the escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It nice to have natures beautiful plants and animals so close to the built up areas of city life.

Big open space, super lush and green, lots of places for playing and bike jumps. Penny loves the wet grass - make very good pupper perfume. Best in the fluffin' area. 5 paw prints 🐾

Took a morning brisk power walk around the grounds on a windy morning in June and was struck by a stray tree branch. Following my daily ritual, I was hyping myself with some loud music and didn't hear the snapping of the tree branch that suddenly struck me down. I'm not sure whether there are certain supplements or sprays you could be giving these trees, but I would look into it so no one is left sprawled on all fours on the bike path like I was (very humiliating). Otherwise, lovely park with lovely scenery (on less windy days).

Generally fabulous with responsible dog owners. However, it just takes that one who allows their big dog off lead without even a collar to run amok through the puppy training school not once, but twice.

Beautiful trees especially eucalyptus globulous examples. Be great if disc golf course slots in behind all the footy ovals.
