Pleasant walk along the river. We called it "dog city". It might possibly be against the law to walk here without a dog........ so if you are not found of dogs - not the best place to go perhaps. There is a playground which is good for kids and a couple of cafés in the area, we tried Riverview as the other one was closed.

Great place to go for a walk along the Warrandyte river. Pretty long track that stretches the length of the shops or maybe a bit more.

One of Melbourne's historical and natural great wonders. Sadly / happily not overcrowded with tourists, mainly because it's not as 'big bus friendly'. All the more reason to go by car.

Very close to the river, excellent access. Only downside is the limited parking as this area is so popular

Favorite for Dog owners ! Couple of walking trails, few spots to fish and a favorite for all the dog owners on weekends.

Good place to spend time with family and friends, and to have a swim during hot summer days. It appears local council have done lot of good work to develop the river sides in environmental and socially responsible way. Parking, play areas and BBQ areas have been setup to accomodate moderate numbers, without making the area to be overcrowded. Plenty of good quality restaurants and boutique shops are around in a well balanced and relaxing atmosphere.

Small but open reserve directly next to the Yarra. A couple of BBQs and a covered area but otherwise not much shade. Walking track that goes up to Warrandyte and beyond. Can get very busy and muddy after wet days. Flooded river after heavy rain can cut off some parts of the path.

Beautiful Warrandyte, not far from Melbourne in the outer eastern suburbs. Spend the afternoon walking or picnic on the banks along this stunning vista of Australian landscape. Lots of cafes and a home made bakery who bakes onsight. Old goldtown feel, which l hope doesn't change too much.

The recent upgrades to this river walk have made it an amazing place to come and enjoy the natural beauty of warrandyte. The path along the river is spacious with plenty of room to share with the community, there are lots of access points back to the Main Street, including parking options and a few spots along it to sit on a chair or picnic on the grass.

Went to try and see koalas but didn't see any, we did see kangaroos tho. Also looks like a good place to play in the water.
